I recommend this hotel for families. Spacious apartment with balcony, everything is clean. Activities for children and shows every day. Outdoor swimming pools for children and adults. The hotel's employees are very welcoming, sociable and very friendly. The restaurants of this hotel offer you the best food (thank Manu for the best attention). Everything is great! I was very pleased and recommend this hotel! We will come back!
We went here with kids aged 4 and 7 and really recommend this hotel. The service, the staff and the food are amazing. A special thanks to Gigi who always has a smile on his lips. The hotel is really family friendly and the kids have had so much fun. Thanks for everything / The swedish family
This is really as good as it gets. We were here for cycling but it was clear the family services were top notch too with loads of entertainment for the little ones and that it is perfect for families , couples, sun lovers and sports enthusiasts . From a cycling perspective it was the best I’ve seen. The storage , bike wash , service centre were next level. One particular shout out to the mechanics, I had chopped through my thumb a few days before (a bit of a blood Spurty) so I was having some difficulties changing a tube. Despite this day being the busiest of the year for them (the day before the Mallorca 312) they still gave me a quick dig out with it. Next level service . All the staff were incredibly polite and helpful. We will be back. Repeatedly !
Moved here as we didn't like Iberostar Albufera Playa. And absolutely loved it!!! Pluses: 1. Sockets everywhere you may need it. 2. They bring iron to the room without any deposit. 3. Beach towels are already in the room, no need to go and take it somewhere. 4. Location-in the centre of everything, but very quiet. Many restaurants and shops around. Mallorka 312 registration point is just behind the corner! 5. Paradise for triathletes (25m swimming pool, bicycle station). 6. Kettle, coffee machine, toaster in the room. 7. Welcome champagne in the room and a bottle of water. 8. Good water pressure in the shower (bath). 9. Good quality massage in the hotel spa. 10. Parking around the corner with free spaces at all times. 11. The food is good, not bad coffee available. Drinks are included at half board option. Minuses: 1. Need to walk to the beach. 2. May be a bit tricky to find the entrance😉. Conclusion: a gem! Will definitely stay here every year!
We stayed in April 2018 with our three children aged between 4 and 8. The resort was largely used by athletes who were out cycling, swimming (in the semi-Olympic pool) or running during the day so it was fairly quiet while we were there. The other pools were very cold which limited our time using them. We didn't eat in the hotel but there were enough restaurants open on the main street and we didn't eat at the same place twice. However, it looked like some were still mothballed for the off-season. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk away and very clean. There did not appear to be too much else to do in the area but we hired a car for the day to see other areas and visit a theme park near Magaluf. We'd never stayed in a resort with a kids club before and hadn't intended on using it much but thought we'd take the opportunity to spend some one-on-one time with our oldest child while the younger two we're being entertained. By the end of the holiday, all three children were desperate to spend more time at kids club and asked to go every day. Many thanks to Carlos, Emilie, Thomas, Ellen and Sara, your enthusiasm, professionalism and commitment to entertaining the kids really made our holiday special. The kids still mention you all after being home for a few weeks.
We had a lovely 5 night stay at this hotel. I travelled with with husband, 2 kids and my mother. Positives: - the room (royal terrace) was comfortable and spacious. The children slept on sofa bed and pull out bed in sitting room which worked well. Our terrace and hot tub were fab - check in was smooth. We were given a room next door to my mother which we requested - the hotel is spacious with nice garden areas with several pools - the kids’ club was great. Emilie in particular is a real asset. My children loved the nightly disco - the location is great. The beach is 5 minutes walk and really stunning. There are several good restaurants in walking distance. We particularly liked Royal Beach, Fusion19 and El Patio - the indoor pool complex with the dipping pools too was very useful in the adverse weather we experienced although the water temperature in the pool should be warmer - the playground and bouncy castle were thoroughly enjoyed by my kids - the evening shows at 9pm were entertaining - we hired a “family bike” from reception which was great fun and the price was reasonable Negatives: - it’s pretty cynical to sell merchandise at the end of the kids’ disco. Some children may be upset if their parents don’t fork out £££ - it’s poor that the safe is not included and costs extra. This is a 4* hotel and we were in the best grade of room. Really not acceptable - the only outdoor pools which are heated are for adults. Not very fair for kids. Ours love the water but couldn’t enjoy the outdoor pools. Please heat them!! We are not the only people who feel this way
Fantastic sport accomodations : * heated semi-olympic training pool ( reservations at reception desk , perfectly organised !) * well-equiped gym , open 24/7 ( free of charge) * Bike storage * ... The hotel attracts lost of athletes, but also gives a warm welcome to families. We stayed here for a week as a family of 10 ( grand parents / parents / teenagers) and every one enjoyed their stay. * lovely breakfast and dinner with attention to all wishes : healthy / vegan / continental.... Plenty of variation with themed buffets. Good quality of the food and no empty plates at the buffet. * very friendly staf both at reception and in the restaurant * large , clean rooms overlooking the pool or the parc (s Albufera) * large swimming pool (unheated) and sufficient sunbeds + separate heated adults only pool * Ping Pong area outside + 2 pool tables in the bar * plenty of parking area for rental cars * good location to explore the island We had a lovely holiday and would certainly recommand this hotel. One suggestion to the hotel staff : maybe the heated “adults only “ pool could be opened to children/teenagers in the spring season ( perhaps at specific hours/days) ? The unheated pool was really too cold and our teenagers (not being athletes or adults) could not really have a nice swim. Apart from that, it was fantastic !
Excellent experience at Viva blue overall!! Great facilties, heated lanes pool, massive public pool, bike storage and a fantastic buffet. I think I saw 8 different types of milk on offer in the morning which shows this is set up for the serious Athlete or foodie.
This was the first visit for my husband and I to this property and Mallorca. The design of the property is great. Rooms, restaurants, spa, pools and bike room all very close get doesn't feel crowded. The food choices are great and I have a food allergy to which the head Chef Victor was able to assist me with food selections and even prepping special meals on certain days for me. The spa treatments were great and I enjoyed the cold soak and the Turkish bath, however, the
We chose Viva Blue because our family has such diverse interests. One group loved the cycling, another spent loads of time in the pools and the youngest loved the beach. The whole place was wonderfully suited to our needs. But most of all the staff were wonderful, always helpful and ready to make the holiday go well. We particularly thought the food and restaurant staff were exceptionally good. We want to mention Margo, Luciano and Augustin who looked after us so well.
