Was staying in viva sunrise due to good location nearby and was put in viva blue with just weeks notice. ok hotel but not self catering as there is no supermarket open at all in Mauro.had to taxi into to old alcudia €13 each way every day poor location and like a building site outside hotel.do not go self catering as poor kitchen facilities.do not recommend at all .lots of better places to go.its a cyclists hotel only .Very disappointed.
We had a great stay at Viva Blue. Excellent staff (animators, reception, waiters), very clean hotel, very good food, nice location (close to the beach). Pool area is very nice, adult pool is calm and relaxing, very well maintained gardens, nice evening shows and a lot more good things to add to the list. Would definitely go back, highly recommended!
The hotel is absolutely higher level than the other hotels in the same area. But unfortunately is not on the beach... Pool area was kids friendly and rooms had perfect sizes. 5 stars! Definitely recommend!
Excellent food, probably the best we ever experienced. Animation team very friendly and great with the kids. At this time of the year the publick beach, just behind the hotel, was very cozy and not too busy. Sea was perfect for swimming, maybe a little bit cold for small children. Overall we enjoyed this holiday very much and mainly thanks to the choice of the hotel.
Fantastic hotel for a family or couples break; superb service and incomparable facilities including full 25m training pool, secure bike garage/wash down, lovely bar, pools, adult chill pool area, spa with great post ride or pamper massages. Good central location for beaches, cycling north or south, local cultural trips to Old Alcudia or Pollenca. If this was the only place I ever went again I wouldn't be upset!
My 4th visit to this hotel. Absolutely fabulous checkin reception staff so polite and accommodating - very comfortable spacious rooms Food especially the a la carte was perfect. Kiko manu paqui Lolo gave excellent service nothing was too much trouble and made us feel very relaxed and welcome Kids club is one of the best in Mallorca entertaining all our children of different ages to the point we hardly saw them. We took friends this time and had such fun over Halloween. We will definitely be returning Thank you once again
My friends had recommended this hotel for children’s facilities and great staff. Although we didnt have children it was important the other couples were child free from time to time. We were more than impressed with the clean hotel, easy parking, swift check. But it is when you chillout and be spoilt by the excellent staff the viva blue comes into its own. Pacqui and her team do an excellent job, and considering it was the end of the Season they were delighted to be of service to us. Some of us in the group travel around the World for out jobs and we were so impressed with the friendliness and happy to help attitude. A special thanks to Pacqui, Yessica, Lolo, Manu, Javer, and Kiko ahhhh Kiko ❤️ jajaja. All the team were excellent. Thank you for a great Halloween weekend guys. We will be back in May 2018
Impromptu family visit to this hotel for a weekend trip. The hotel has lots going on, a lovely spa, a sizeable pool area, lots of facilities. The rooms were of a reasonable size, the bed had great sleep quality, and even the pull out bed for our daughter was a good standard. The restaurant served good quality and fresh produce. Lunch was served in the pool bar and had a reasonable range of dishes, however we would recommend the pizzas. It was a very pleasant stay, the only constructive comments I would give are: Our room was on the ground floor so our patio area wasn't used as it didn't get any sun during our short stay. As the hotel is close to its winter closure some of the staff did give the impression that they had had a very long and tiring summer and we're ready for their break! This was evident more in the restaurant, where staff were friendly but the service was a little lack lustre at times. The outdoor pools were also a bit too cold for swimming button there was a small indoor pool which was heated. Otherwise this is a very good, well positioned, friendly and welcoming hotel. Special mention to the entertainment team who do lots with the children and adults.
We stayed at Viva Blue for five days over the October half-term. We were a family party of nine, celebrating a 70th birthday during our stay. We all had a fabulous time and couldn't fault the hotel. I would return here without hesitation. Here are my reasons why: 1. The vegetarian food is amazing. The chefs have obviously put a lot of consideration into making the evening buffet more interesting for vegetarians and have also, unusually, included lots of protein rich dishes rather than just relying on pasta and cheese. 2. The staff go to great lengths to make a special occasion memorable. I had ordered a birthday cake in advance for my dad's birthday but the Head Waiter had arranged for the table to be decorated for our evening meal and the restaurant staff all sang happy birthday to him in Spanish.....my dad was thrilled! His room was also decorated with balloons and a bottle of champagne was left for him on his birthday. He had such a wonderful day! 3. The all inclusive really was 'all inclusive'.....even bottles of wine were available! 4. The activities in the day were varied and I liked the fact that families could join in together (there were two other clubs available just for children). We especially enjoyed the archery!! The entertainment team have to be commended for all their hard work and enthusiasm especially as it was the end of season and their audiences cant have been as extensive as they would have been over the Summer period. 5. All our rooms had a little garden area with garden furniture and a hammock. The hotel were very thoughtful in placing us together as a family unit so that the children could run between the gardens (the garden did have a small gate and hedges to separate them). 6. The hotel is a five minute walk away from a beautiful beach and is close to a bus stop if you fancy a trip to Alcudia or Palma. 7. The spa is open to children in the morning, for them to swim in the heated pool, up until two o'clock. 8. Beach towels were left in the room, upon arrival, so that there was no fussing over deposits or vouchers to collect towels! 9. The hotel grounds were immaculately well kept. They were being decorated for Halloween, as we were leaving, and it all looked very impressive! This hotel was such a fabulous choice for us. I would highly recommenced it and can't wait to return. Thank you to all the staff for making it such a memorable stay for our family.
We wanted to have a split location holiday on Majorca and it was great. We wanted a resort and chose this for its facilities, here it ticked all the boxes. Good gym, swimming pools for my daughter, kids club and general sports facilities. If you love cycling this is great, easy to hire bikes and has all the support facilities for cyclists. The room was probably 3 star quality but it is clean and has all that you need, although sorting out the shower door would help, as you have a pool of water after your shower and a round head to wash off the soap ( wife’s comments ).
