Myself and my husband bought our children on a short break away staying at this hotel. We come to Palmanova every year and 5hought we would try a hotel that's more centrally located to everything. The location is spot on, beach is directly opposite the hotel and everything is within walking distance around Palma. That was the only good thing about the hotel and I shall list all the negative points about the hotel below. Hotel rooms were dirty 1 pillow per person ( when I asked for more I was told that they had tan out so couldn't give us anymore) I mean what kind if hotel runs out of pillows? Shower was broke, someone had smashed it so wouldn't work. The beds were basically camp beds and not at all comfy. The towels provided were all stained and had black marks all over them. The bedding had holes in it Now onto the restaurant This hotel does not cater for families in my oppionion we were all inclusive but ended up eating out because their was hardly any variety with the food on offer. This kind of defeats the purpose of paying to go all inclusive 🤔 They had more choice of deserts than they did anything else. No snacks were on offer between meal times so if you miss the restaurant opening then you have basically got to go without until the best meal times. This hotel is supposed to be a 3 star but no way would I even class it as a 2 star. This is the worse hotel we have ever stayed in and woukd advice anyone thinking about booking to stay here to stay well away, especially if you have children as this is not a family friendly hotel

What a lovely 4 night we had at this hotel. A little bit dated but very comfortable. The food was good to average and there was something for everyone. One of the rooms we had, had a problem with the air con leaking that was fixed the next day. The hotel is across the road from a great beach. Lovely friendly staff and excellent cocktails although with the amount of alcohol going into the glass we should not have been able walk, but we were never too drunk. The evening entertainment was a little lame so we headed off in the evening to the karaoke bars. You will never go hungry or thirsty in this lovely friendly hotel.

Great base to stay in palma nova. Just across road fm the beach. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Food good (not loads of choice but enough good tasty food) quality before quantity. Would definitely go back.

Just returned from the Tropico our first visit but it won`t be the last on arrival we were greeted by the man on reception with a hello and welcome he was so nice and made you feel welcome all the staff were warm and friendly, the little extras they put on at meal times like an Hawaiian evening and drinks to match etc maid it a little better than the normal run of evening meals and the evening entertainment is good with one or two shows a night. As for location it is just across the road for the beach and very central for shops bars buses and taxi. all in all a very pleasant hotel even though it is getting a bit old this is made up for the friendless and location well worth a visit.

Our fourth visit coming up this autumn. Food, Hotel room, air con all excellent. Free wifi too. All the staff very helpful, friendly and cheerful. Really looking forward to it. What more could you want?

We were greeted on arrival by a very nice Spanish receptionist, who could not do enough for us, she was so sweet, this place just doesn't get the plaudits it deserves, everyone from reception to the bar staff, the cleaners and chambermaids were all spot on. Breakfast was plentiful, there was loads to choose from, whether you wanted full English or just juice or beautiful coffee, or European and Mary is an absolute scream in a morning, if she doesn't get you giggling in a morning nothing will. The place is just so clean, a testament to the cleaners especially as it is all inclusive, my god the people who holiday here are really up for a good time, we stayed 22 nights and it was so good, we will be back in September.

We were greeted by everyone as if we were a close family member, it was nice to see Pedro, Mary, Jardine and Saskia once again, plus the new members of staff, we were accommodated in a family room, so that it was easy to use Mobility scooter.. You should never go hungry at this hotel.Any problems are dealt with efficiently.

We arrived at this hotel mid afternoon on 03/06/2018 as a party of 3, myself, my husband and my 84 yr old mother. This was our first visit. First impressions were that the hotel looked a bit shabby and dated. We were given rooms 115 and 116 which were on the first floor and had access by lift, which was great for my mother. When we first saw our rooms we were rather disappointed as they were very dated with no kettle or fridge,, then we went onto the balcony were shocked. When we booked the hotel, we didn't request a sea view or garden view but weren't expecting a view of a dingy brick wall with extractor fans, which I think was the back of the shop next door. It was like looking over a prison camp ( not that I've ever been in one!). We were going to ask for room changes but as we booked last minute we decided we would see how the first night panned out. I have to say that the beds were comfy and the sheets etc were spotless. The food in the restaurant was excellent, there was plenty of choice, a well stocked salad bar, various meats, rice, fries and a great choice of cakes, ice cream and fresh fruit. The breakfasts were excellent, again with plenty of choice and all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The food did get a little repetitive by the end of the week, just as it does in every all inclusive hotel, we did have one morning when the breakfast food was cold, but there is a microwave on hand. The entertainment at the hotel was good, probably the best we have ever had on an all inclusive holiday and we have had a lot of those and in more modern 4 star hotels. Pedro, the head bar man was just brilliant and went out of his way to go above and beyond,he was so friendly and funny. All the bar staff were more than generous with the drinks, huge measures. We decided that the food, entertainment and good service from the staff more than made up for the basic rooms, so we didn't ask for a room change. At the end of the day our rooms were only a base to sleep in, plus the cleaners went in every day bar one, we asked for extra pillows and they were provided immediately. The pool at the hotel is very small and the children's pool is tiny, however the hotel is in an excellent position with the beautiful beach just across the road, there are plenty of shops and bars around and it's only about 20 minutes walk to Magaluf. Because of the excellent staff, the service and the location of the hotel we probably would visit again but would request a room with a sea view on the 1st or 2nd floor.

Allocated room 41 at the back of the hotel, after climbing 83 steps to reach the room we soon realised it was a room unfit for humans, vile smell in room, room dirty, bed linen and towels had holes in them, dirty water leaking into room above the shower from room above, eventually our ceiling falls in, after an argument at reception for a room change we eventually got one but with only 2 beds when there was 3 of us, put you up bed found for my daughter at 11pm.. breakfast brilliant 😊well done paco, rest of meals very poor, chef needs educating in food and hygiene as he uses same tongs to pick raw and cooked meat up while cooking on gridle, home baked bread still frozen in middle, (Very good at whistling though) however good points great places to eat near by and location ++ as for anything else, I would no longer recommend this hotel to anyone, shame really as customers tend to go back each year, but I’m afraid I used to say you get what you pay for but not this time 😡

We stayed at this hotel in July 2016 the staff are amazing nothing too much the rooms are basic but the food is very good an the views are beautiful we have been looking to book for next year but can't find it with jet 2 so give it a go you will be suprizd we are
