Arrived on 26th of September. Check in was quick and easy and the ladies that were there were very nice. Would like to say thank you to the young man in reception with beard who helped us when we needed to print off our boarding passes.Sorry don't know his name.We had a nice room overlooking the swimming pool. The room was clean. Beds were hard, but I suppose it was better than having a saggy mattress. The bathroom tiles could have done with fresh grouting. The television only had one English channel which was the news, but my husband managed to get some English channels. Don't know what he did, must have gone into settings and pressed the language button. The walls were very thin, you could here what the people were saying next door. The food was a hit or a miss. Breakfast wasn't very hot. In the evening some thing were really hot and other things were just warm.We were on half board. There was plenty of fish each night and chicken.Good if you like them but I don't. Puddings were nearly the same each evening, with an addition of one or two different things. One thing that was boiling every night was the soup. Didn't see many of the staff smiling in the restaurant. The girl with blond hair was about the only one we saw smiling. Location was good. Bus stop around the corner, the beach was about 5 minutes walk . It was 3 star so you pay for what you get.
Well on arrival upset to find they had overbooked so tryed getting us to move to martinque for one night bear in mind our party of 4 was 65 and 53yrs of age we went into the reception and what greeted us was like a zoo noisy drunken youths music blurring off all balconys we walked out and then had to endure 3hrs of arguing with the manager at don juan we booked this in june not last min caused me too have panic attack vomiting upset then after 3hrs they miraculously find us 2 rooms disgusted with the managers wont stay in here again ruined our weekend they dont care once they took your money
the impressions are phenomenal, I'm very surprised by the food, people, the whole impression is perfect, I would also mention the georgi who tried to be interesting to us every day, we played billiard table tennis riffle shoting, the best animator I met, I would go back to Majorka, all the best Dusan
Was good base to go back and sleep from being out all day. Apart from that, cleaners hardly came to our room leaving us having to go and take our own towels down to reception, food wasn't great and pool atmosphere was no good.
Beautiful hotel where the staff water very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and ther was a wide variety. The entertainment coordinator George was very funny and friendly. Certainly goin back next year
Our 3 weeks stay in Don Juan was overall perfectly. The hotel was only a few streets away from the beach and about 10 minutes walk from the strip. A few supermarkets and bars were just around the corner. The hotel made a good impression. The staff is very kind, at the reception, in the bar and in the restaurant. The pool was very nice, not very big, but enough space for sunbathing or lying under the palmtrees. There is also a little bar in the garden. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked very clean. Every night there was a different entertainment, we didn’t watch the shows but heard it sometimes while sitting on the balcony. Please ask for a room with pool-view, otherwise you look out at a parkingplace were local people at night come to party, or you hear the noise from the next hotel HM Martinique (full of loud young guests). Try to get a room on 6th of 7th level, we thought the people there were more adults and quiter. Because the walls of the room were so thin you could hear every loud voice or music next to you or above or under you. An absolute shame.. The mattress was a bit too hard to sleep on. The rooms were not too small and were tidy and we became every day fresh towels. The food in the hotel was good. Lots of fresh fruit in the morning and evening. Breakfast had a lot to choose from: different kind of bread, cheese, churros (very tasteful!) and also eggs and bacon of course. Diner was served every night differently, also a rich choice. The lasagna was absolutely delicious! But there was also fish, salads, fries, live cooking and a lot of desserts (we loved the chocolate mousse and rice). Everything was filled till the end. An absolute pro is the free wifi in the whole hotel. We were on the 6th level and had a great wifi signal. The busstop is just around the corner, but sometimes you have to wait a long time before the bus arrives. We advise everybody to rent a car for exploring beautiful Mallorca. Magaluf is a great place to stay, the overday drunk English tourist is on his way back we believe. We would recommend this hotel, but beware you are stil in partyzone Magaluf.
Went here in August 2017 for 10 nights, there were 2 adults and 2 children aged 9 and 6 in our party. We shared one room with 2 doubles. I was worried about the kids sharing a bed (simply for arguments) but the doubles were actually twins together with their own blankets so it was perfect. We were on the first floor by the stairs which could be noisy until after midnight with people coming and going but, to be honest, the kids were so happy / tired they were straight out. We were half board and the food was buffet style, it was what you expect, hot and plenty of choice to satisfy all, no complaints. The hotel is perfectly placed, it is a 10 minute walk into the centre if you want the clubs and pubs, but out of it enough to ignore if that's not what you want. The beach is a 5 minute walk and is ideal for kids, beautiful beach and calm water. The hotel animation team (entertainment) were perfect for us. Izabelle entertained the children and our daughter loved her. George organised pool games, darts , target shooting etc for the adults and older children and our kids were happy around the pool all day the days we didn't go out. All in all I would recommend the Don Juan and would go back.
Hotel in really good place, great place also for family with kids...they have a really good animation team for children and adults with Georgi Tashev in charge!!!👍👏👏👏 we are definitly next year coming!!!!
The hotel was ideal as a base for a party holiday in Magaluf. The rooms were outdated but clean and comfortable despite the cramped balcony. The cleaning staff were very friendly as was the intimidating security guard posed on the door each night. Ideally located close to the beach and within walking distance of the strip. Breakfast wasn't great so we chose to skip it most mornings and dinner wasn't much better, the meals did provide us with a bit of entertainment as we inspected the grease soaked platters and tried to guess the identity of the mysterious foods on offer each evening. The pool area was clean and well maintained with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas available. Overall the hotel was better than I had expected, considering the price but i would advise avoiding the food.
My wife and I went here with our 8 year old daughter and had a 3 bed room. From first arrival until leaving we were made extremely welcome and the staff were always very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with the essential air conditioning which welcomed us out of the 32˚ heat every time we entered and there was a nice little balcony overlooking the pool. On the week we stayed (1st two weeks in August) the hotel was quiet at night with no noisy behaviour, which suited us as a family. Our daughter loved the animation team (especially Isa) who looked after her in the morning and the evening and gave personal attention to her enjoyment of the holiday. She played in the pool with them in the morning and danced on the stage with them at night. For all of us both Isa and George were great in making our stay more enjoyable and fun. We had half board and found the food to be very good. Also the little extras like the use of a free shower room after we had checked out (and waiting to leave) kept our stay stress free and enjoyable. The hotel manager was aware that it was also our anniversary while we was there and we would like to thank him for the presentation in our room and the bottle of wine. All-in-all a great hotel which we would all recommend and would definitely return to again.
