Romantic by moonlight. Leisurely to the point of indulgence under the sun and blue sky.Spectacular mountain views to treasure in the mind's eye until the next time one can enjoy this memorable stopover and its unforgettable birdsong.
The hotel is located in a beautiful, scenic and tranquil part of Majorca. The staff and service we received was superb. Our room was fantastic with our own out door pool and hot tub. SLH member hotel. Superb visit.
My sister told me she had worked there18 years ago so I thought a visit desirable A little cooler than the coast, inland and surrounded by mountains, what beautiful location Best Sangria ever preceded a snack lunch but what beautiful cooking Did not see rooms but the way everything else was maintained leads one to believe they will be perfect Well worth a visit
We spent 3 blissful days at this beautiful and historic hotel. The grounds are extremely well kept and the building itself is rich with character and charm. It is tucked away in the hills with gorgeous views, removed enough to feel like you can really get away, but close enough to the action if you want to find it. The atmosphere is lovely, and the staff truly go out of their way to make sure you feel at home and are well taken care of. Our room was tastefully decorated, very spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast included each morning was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. If you get the change, book a dinner in the tree house. Our family dined there one night, and it provided a unique and intimate experience. This hotel is a complete gem, and I would highly recommend. We will most definitely be returning, only next time we’ll be booking for a longer get away!
This is a remarkable place. Perhaps less so to people who often stay at 5* places but to us the small size, the beautiful views, the incredible service and the quality of the accommodation were unparalleled. I feel it would be selfish not to share this point of view, but I'd also like to keep this little place a secret. Enjoy.
This was our second visit, having stayed here last year too. Despite booking late we were upgraded as a returning visitor and shown every courtesy. The hotel is a beautifully-restored 17th century mansion full of character, atmosphere and with a tastefully-understated luxury. The food, either informally in the bar area, or more formally in the Oleum dining room, is of the highest quality and José, the barman, takes great pride in his profession - his gin and tonics and bloody Mary's are particularly recommended! For those wishing to celebrate birthdays or other anniversaries we strongly recommend dining privately in the hotel's Tree House with lovely views over the valley below. The gardens are charming and beautifully-kept and it is always easy to find a private spot to be alone. The service in every department is impeccable in an unintrusive way and Patricia, the Guest Experience Manager, goes to endless trouble to ensure you have the best holiday possible. This is the perfect spot to relax and also as a centre for exploring the island. Palma is only 20 minutes away and, situated close to the Tramuntana mountains, the hotel is well-placed for walking trails.
Grand Hotel Son Net feels luxurious. Its a great hide away with great surroundings and a fantastic view. Not so many hotels are open off season but this is. The rooms are large. We got a room on the first floor facing a wall, at this time of the year it felt a bit humid in the room because there was no sun shining in to the room. Not a top room I would say. The beds felt a little bit old and worn out. The food in the restaurant was excellent and with very good service.
Son Net sits on a hill with breathtaking views from every angle! The rooms are elegantly decorated and the hotel itself is full of history and charm. The hotel staff is exceptional, providing us with an amazing stay. I can't thank everyone there enough for such an amazing and memorable time! We will absolutely be returning!
Son net hotel is an 18th Centry country house hotel. It is both majestic and charming it manages the delicate balance between grandeur and comfortable very well. But it is not the quality of the rooms or reception spaces, which are excellent but the quality of the staff that makes this hotel stand head and shoulders above the rest. They simply cannot do enough to make your stay pleasant, comfortable and unique. If you are lucky enough to be visiting Mallorca then it is worth a visit even if it's just for a drink in the grounds.
The hotel was amazing, people friendly staff was great! The room itself is large, clean and quiet, with a hot tub awesome. Incredible deco and confort. One person that stood out was Mr.Josep!! He went above and beyond who without exception is warm and welcoming and is simply superb in every aspect of the job. We can't say enough about be treated so well. Definitely, we will be back.
