Stayed for three nights here. Lovely spot; friendly staff and our one bedroomed apartment was just the job. Nice pool and very handy for the town centre which is under ten minutes walk away.Food was good and there's a little supermarket just round the corner

The hotel gives a welcoming first impression. It is modern , clean and well maintained. The staff are very helpful and are able to answer any queries you have. The restaurant is fresh and welcoming. There are plenty staff on hand to assist if required. The accommodation is clean and well maintained. The pool and surrounding area is immaculate with lifeguard on duty. The hotel is located in a quiet area with no nighttime noise but close to the waterfront.

Just home from La Pergola after a week holiday as a family of 4. Stayed in a one bedroom superior apartment which we had previously booked. On check in they offered us a bungalow which I looked at. Although downstairs was great with a lovely terrace/small grass area which would have been great for the kids (ages 4 & 2) to play, I wasn't comfortable with my husband and I sleeping upstairs and leaving kids downstairs on sofa bed so declined which was no problem to them. Was pleased that I did as bathroom in apartment was superior to the bungalow and although apartment quite small, we weren't in much during the day so worked out fine for us. A larger balcony would have been preferred as many apartments did have bigger ones, but again a small point in otherwise great accomodation. Place was very clean and ladies who cleaned room very friendly and efficient. Were on a room only basis so can't comment on breakfast and only ate dinner one night in restaurant which was very nice. Supermarket only a few minutes walk away for essentials and delicious fresh croissants/crusty bread first thing in the morning. Setting at pool very clean and no problem getting loungers at this time of year. Clientele mostly older couples or couples with babies. No organised activities at kids club but my kids still loved going. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a quieter holiday. Only been home 3 days and have booked for another relaxing week in June........

Stayed as a family and had a good stay at this apartment style hotel. The apartment's themselves were spacious, the staff helpful and the food good. The area around the pool could get a little crowded at peak times at the decor was somewhat dated and perhaps lacked some character/charm. For a 4* hotel I would have expected a little more in terms of quality of amenities but by no means unpleasant. The location is good, on the quiet side of the harbour. It is not a long walk to the main port but worth bearing in mind if you have small children.

We were given champagne on arrival. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed here for 4 nights self catering. We should have stayed half board because the food there was lovely. We ate lunch at the poolside bar/restaurant a couple of times and it was really nice. They also served nice cocktails during the day to relax around the pool with. The hotel and pool areas were spotless. The pool was perfect for our the kids. There was also a table tennis table around the back in the shade that the kids loved. Our room was perfect for us. Clean, tidy and nice air conditioning to cool us down in the 40 degree heat. We also had a nice view of Port Andratx from our balcony. Its a short walk down past the marina to the port where there are loads of restaurants and bars to choose from. Theres also a big supermarket by the port where we stocked up on food and drinks for the room. We loved the hotel so much we booked again for a week next year before we had even left to go home.

Very pleasant, lovely clean, well maintained complex, not too big, looks good for families .Set in hills about 10 mins village, fishing, boating Porta Andraix which is unspoilt . Beautiful views, relax right by harbour watch world go by ! Nice family run, local dishes in square above nr Supermarket. Great local cuisine .paella great, beefsteak, dauphinois potatoes, onion. Vino local very good. Nice atmosphere do great hamburger best ever, homemade all dishes. Great resort very enjoyable.

Hotel was a good standard. The pool was cloudy for 4-5 days until treated. I would of gave the hotel a better review but I booked a 1 bedroom superior apartment and put me in a 1 bedroom apartment. Not happy it took a day to move me as no superior rooms available. So service is the lowest

What a fabulous holiday made all that more perfect by La Pergola and the wonderful staff and facilities. We are a family of three (our son is 8) and wanted somewhere that catered for children but had a more sophisticated feel about it - this place delivers on all levels. Apartments - we stayed self catering in room 837 and found the decor very modern and bright with fantastic views of the mountains, also the air conditioning was the best I've known and the bathroom something out of a 5 star hotel. Staff - extremely attentive and nothing is too much trouble, so helpful and friendly. We were met with a glass of cava on arrival and knew straight away that this place was going to be somewhere we would enjoy. Food - we were self catering so only ate from the pool bar which was very good and reasonably priced (although we found children's meals relatively expensive so we stuck to adult options for our 8 year old) - the club sandwich and burger are both superb, also the price of drinks are surprisingly reasonable. The whole feel of the hotel is luxurious with an indoor spa, chandeliers in reception, free use of pool towels, arrival drink, superb staff and some lovely finishing touches - on our sons birthday we returned to the room to find balloons and sweets beautifully arranged and a note to say happy birthday from all those at La Pergola. The resort also has a sophisticated feel about it but in a friendly relaxed way. The restaurants on the marina front (ten minutes walk down hill - well worth a taxi back up the hill for 4 Euros) are pricey with decent quality food and service but the best gems are found in the street behind the front that runs adjacent to the marina - we particularly favored Spice Andratx (Indian cuisine) and Ciao Bella (some of the best pizza and grilled squid I have eaten), also SaVoa is excellent for seafood pasta. All of the hidden gems tend to be more reasonably priced and extremely good quality as they are competing with the marina. The resort and hotel are family friendly and there were plenty of children in late August however if you prefer your holiday to be all about keeping your children entertained this is not the place - you have to make your own entertainment. There is a beautiful and picturesque beach in Cap de Mar about a 15 minute bus drive or 5 minute taxi drive away - well worth a visit. The only down side I can mention is the 3 hour transfer from the airport if using a 'shuttle bus' - this was hideous, hot and weary, the hotel organised us a private taxi on the way back (4am) for 55 euros and this was worth every penny, the taxi was prompt, cool and a half hour drive. When we return (because we definitely will) we will be using private taxis for transfers. In a nut shell this place was just what we wanted - family friendly with a bit of sophistication - La Pergola delivered perfectly - thank you to all the staff for making our stay so special. See you soon!

we decided to book self catering for a week break. we chose this upon recommendation and were not disappointed. the apartment was spacious and comfortable for two people including large bathroom and lounge. kitchen was tiny and it could do with a toaster but acceptable. outside the reception was very pleasant and the pool area was large and no trouble in finding a bed at any time of the day. we ate in the snack bar and it was very good value.

We travelled as a family of three with our 2 year old daughter on a self-catering basis. Upon arrival: A slick check in and a glass of fizzy given to us both in what appeared a bright, clean and modern looking reception area. We were escorted to our room and given information and timings about the restaurant. All very impressive so far! The room: We booked a 1 bed superior apartment. It was the furthest block away from the main complex (block 8), which was good for us. It overlooked the gardens and kept the noise levels down on the odd night there was entrainment for our daughter to sleep peacefully. The room was small but adequate for a holiday as who spends time in their room anyway when there is 30 degree sunshine to enjoy! The kitchenette was also fine, having 2 hobs, a microwave and a fridge. A toaster is available from reception free of charge. The pool: A good size which had a shallow area and also a baby pool. The sun beds however, were reserved by 8:30am. Thankfully having a little one waking early helped us in this instance. The pool was completely over run with inflatables. By our second week the pool became a bit murky but after a day or two this was resovoled. The bar/restaurant: Clean and beautifully presented. We only ate at the restaurant twice. Once for breakfast and once for dinner. On both occasions the staff were professional and efficient and the food at all times was of very good quality, being replenished when any dish became low. Evenings: Once a week the hotel put on some form of enterainment. A little disco or a singer and musicaian. This is really low key and attracts the toddlers and young children, but on all occasions the children were well behaved and in check! Other than this weekly 'highlight' the main bar area was very quiet and almost dead by 10pm. For us this was a bonus as we spent the late evenings on the balcony with our own drinks and snacks while the baby slept. Wifi: FREE!! But was only accessible in the main reception and pool area until our last 3 days when all of a sudden the WIFI appeared to be extended throughout the whole resort. Safe: Free - simple to use The local area: A beautiful marina with stunning yachts. No riff raff to be seen! It is an expensive area but you definitely get what you pay for. The restaurants on the whole are extremely pricey but we did find 2 child friendly and much more reasonable places which we lived in each evening. (Gondola and Copolla). The views out into the marina at the super yachts are definitely worth the €5 a beer price tag! Location/transfers: Long!! 2+ hours on our way into the hotel. Our flight home was at 8:30am and the company wanted to pick us up at 3:10am!!!! No thank you! So booked a taxi through the hotel for €55 and had a car seat for our toddler. The hotel is about a 15-20 min walk into the main town where there is a wide range of restaurants and a big supermarket. Or a €3.5 taxi ride. Extra info: 2 small beaches close by A little corner shop An Italian restaurant and fish restaurant within 5 min walk Dive centre adjacent to the beach Restaurants and snack bar available at 'club de vela' hotel down the road.
