An excellent destination for a family holiday! Don't just take my word for it, book yourself and experience this perfect hotel & destination for a relaxing family holiday! Food, staff, rooms, a wonderful experience. This was our 5th trip to this hotel.
This is the second visit to the hotel. They have broadly stated the same over the past 2 years, but have expanded a bit with new buildings and a great covered dining area. We were given one of the new suites (6000 series rooms) which looked really new and well furnished. They didn't have any view thOugh and we asked to change to one of the older ones which they did without problem. This had a great view over the harbour and surrounding hills but is a bit dated especially in furniture. No problem though. Everything is well kept and well cleaned. The main pool is not heated, but is a good size. Reception is always helpful. The hotel is on the opposite side of the harbour from the town, about 10 minute walk, mostly flat if you walk through the marina but is a bit up and down around the pavement. Andratx is getting expensive, but food is good and views are great. Definitely a good hotel, and somewhere you would be happy to come back to
Regular visitors to Andratx , normally rent a villa but this was a late booked midweek break. We have previously stayed at the Mon Port which is adjacent and under the same ownership. La Pergola was brighter and more relaxed . Staff were excellent and helpful . We had a bungalow ( actually two floors ) but with a really nice and sunny private terrace. Pool was good , bar reasonable and location is great apart from the lack of view. Only negatives , beds were not the best , pillows very thin , towels a little in the thin and scratchy side ..... and very thin walls ! Overall a surprisingly good experience and good value
We stayed here for 5 days last week. Email communication was efficient and the checkin when we arrived was professional, polite and helpful. We were given a welcome drink of cava, orange or both. The room was fine, spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool. In May I would have liked more sun on the balcony but that was a minor point as there was plenty of room around the pool on the numerous sunloungers. We had breakfast every day which was excellent and one evening meal which was also very good. The hotel is clean and comfortable and quiet. It is a 15 minute walk to the marina but this is through the boat yard and by the side of the water and is all very pleasant. Port d'Andraxt is classy and quite expensive with hundreds of boats and yachts. There is no beach here but the efficient bus service will quickly take you to a neighbouring resort if a beach is what you are looking for. We found some nice bars and restaurants especially Mitj and Mitj which is a good corner bar for watching the sun go down. We enjoyed our short stay and could find no fault. We would not use a transfer company again as it took ages from the airport. We would hire a car or get a private transfer. For example we were picked up at 7am for and 11.30 flight - not the best way to end the holiday! The indoor pool looked nice but we didn't use it and there is an onsite wellness centre
What a splendid hotel! Clean, fresh, Nice staff, great food and gorgeous non-alcoholic drinks! Im definitely coming back! ❤️ Maybe a second honeymoon, like 7 years after our wedding. Why not! 🙏 Dont forget to take a walk around the harbour. A LOT of Nice boats and also some for rent!
This is my second trip to La Pergola and we loved it as much as the first time. The apartments themselves are immaculately clean and the maid service comes everyday to keep it clean throughout your stay. Although we have eaten in the hotel on a lunch time before (which has always been good), it's the first time we have experienced the buffet on the evening. It was excellent. The restaurant has a lovely feel to it, the staff are attentive for drinks and the food / selection extremely nice. My daughter is a veggie and she even liked it. Very well organised all round. Port d'Andratx itself is gorgeous, with lots of lovely restaurants and streets to wander round. It's a very chilled place providing a relaxing holiday venue, and its only 10 minutes walk around the marina from the hotel itself. Last but not least, the reception staff are a massive credit to the hotel. They were very efficient via email prior to our arrival, and both friendly and helpful in person during our stay. We encountered a problem with our anticipated return journey to the airport with A2B transfers. When we approached reception they immediately sorted an alternative for us. We are planning to return to La Pergola next year. Thank you for a lovely time. Martine
I stayed here in a two bedroom room for a week long vacation with friends. The resort is in a great location if you want to be away from all the craziness of Palma. The port is in walking distance which is great but Palma is a 20 min drive. Rooms were clean but nothing special. This place is great if you aren't planning on spending a lot of time at the resort and just need a place to sleep. The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner buffet and that's it. The outdoor pool is nice but again pretty standard for a hotel pool.
Just what a weary traveller needs on arrival - doubts over your reservation & details. Request for change to double bedded room as reserved was refused ; unsatisfactory twin-bed conversion with poorly fitting bedclothes was outcome from 2 complaints. Surprising lack of any apartment "welcome pack" e.g. tea/coffee/milk - empty 'fridge The property is beautiful and spotlessly clean thanks to brilliant room care. But be careful with the slick shower tray ! Restaurant service is excellent with helpful and charming staff. We v much enjoyed our short stay at this lovely location after initial disappointments. Thanks to reception for instant help with departure issues.
Stayed here end of February - early March 2017 for 4 nights. Set back from the busy tourist streets, apart-hotel with easy transport connection to other towns within short walking distance from the hotel to the bus stop & taxi rank. The hotel is very clean and breakfast was good, and the pricing affordable. It had pools indoor, outdoor and small gym. Would certainly consider staying again.
Stayed for four days in February for my mother-in-law's 90th birthday. Greeted in reception on arrival with a glass of champagne and were upgraded to a two bedroom villa with a shared pool, which was ideal. It was very well equipped and tastefully decorated. On her birthday a bottle of champagne and flowers were left in the villa and in the evening she was resented with a cake and further champagne! The staff were very attentive. The hotel has a modern decor and the breakfasts were outstanding with a huge selection of hot and cold produce. We only ate there one evening but once again ample choice with fresh prawns, meat and fish. The other evenings we had a pleasant stroll to the harbour and found a Majorcan restaurant with excellent authentic food. It is also worth taking the local bus to the market in Andratx on Wednesdays, and Palma is only an hours journey away for 11 euros return. Overall an enjoyable break.
