Your own Kruger backyard

Hennie's rest is a lovely boutique B+B style (sans breakfast) with a kitchenette, a sitting area and a bedroom. The patio is splendid and overlooks the crocodile river, teeming with wildlife. We had close and memorable experiences with elephants that come over to grab a drink off the crocodile river and sometimes pay the locals a visit. The hostess is splendid ad very helpful. Hot water and wi-fi are a little unreliable but the beautiful surroundings of the area offer ample recompense. We have previously stayed in Skukuza and Protea Hotel Kruger Gate but this trumps them all. It's your opening into south Kruger at your own pace. Grab a nice bottle of merlot or pinotage and enjoy the wilderness at your leisure.
