Hello guys, I have visited this place in 3rd week of December 2017 for honeymoon. There is no words to describe this place. We stayed 2 days in superior beach bungalow & 2 days in water villa. "Scuba diving" is best thing to do in water sports. Food, services, atmosphere is too good for honeymooners.
Very pleased and happy that I chose Paradise Island Resort and Spa. A longer comment that I hope will help! Good location, close to the airport. The staff are very kind and ready to respond to any request. The resort is quite large with very wide and very beautiful beaches with turquoise blue water and very safe areas for the bath, especially for those who travel with small children. Rooms? Large, spacious, clean rooms air conditioning and fan. Coffee tea and a bottle of water for the person-free. Although they do not stand up to the 5-star standard and should be upgraded, rooms have their charm. The bathroom is somewhere 3 to 4 stars. This is not disturbing if you do not want to go on vacation to stay in the room. At least for me and my family this is not the most important thing! If you choose, rooms between 274 - 303 are among the best looking to the east and the 10th scenery, the very large beach, you can sit in the sun from sunrise to sunset. The rest of the resort is worth the 10/10. If you have a return flight in the evening or at night, you can take a $ 50 room until the airport transfer time. Free Wi-fi at good speed, including on the beach. Nice gardens, nice kids area Activities such as table tennis, tennis, billiards, etc. are free of charge. Bike rental 5 euro / day Food / Drink Delicious, diversified food, fruit, very good cakes. We have opted for fullboard. You will have the same table from the beginning of your stay to the end. I refuse to think there are tourists who say they did not have anything to eat! Young children benefit from milk at any time at the restaurant. Water (and juice in the morning) at the table is included, so besides the one at the room you will not need more than another bottle of 1.5l (1.99 $). română Prices! I have read reviews that prices are exaggerated to beverages and meals. Drinking is at the same price as in European destinations, and food is no more expensive than Paris, for example! There are some exceptions (High prices) to top dishes as in any restaurant !!! Take a sunset dinner at the Italian restaurant. "Libin You're the Best". All expenses, including souvenirs, can be transferred to the room and paid at the end of your stay, on the card. It would be good to bring cash for tips, $ 1, 5 or 10 $banknotes. Souvenirs! Prices for souvenirs more than satisfactory. Compared to the prices of the renowned locations in Europe, souvenirs are cheap. Very many handmade things. Prices are in US $. Snorkeling? this Island as a whole Maldives has been struck by severe coral bleaching but you can still see a lot of Corals with many fish of all kinds, reef sharks, sea cats, turtles (especially on the right side of My lady shop). Do not be afraid and try late snorkeling from 5.30 to 6.20 pm at Farumathi Restaurant at shark feeding area. Another good snorkeling area remains near the Italian restaurant. Snorkeling equipment would suggest bringing it from home if you use it a lot. The prices for a complete equipment are quite high here. If you want to buy only glasses and mask 80 $ full face mask and snorkel Excursions! We opted for one full day day trip from 9am to 16pm and we visited two islands and two snorkeling places, including lunch (87 $ / person, our 2 year old daughter having free) First Stop Bandos Resort. The second stop at Khimmafushi Island where we have lunch at a restaurant in the harbor area. Here you can also find souvenir shops. Snorkeling places were very beautiful. Payment of the trip is made at check-out in the final invoice What I did not like! Careless tourists who walk on the coral reef in marked areas as protected. Garbage that is lit every night on near nu islands and bring bad smell on the beach. In the end .... Thanks Paradise Island Resort & Spa for everything and hope to see you again.
We stayed for 7 nights at Paradise Island and it was a real paradise! Something to remember forever! Great beaches, hospitality, good food and great entertainment team especially Bebo with aqua gym and Lena, Mark & Masha with evening show made our vacation even better! Thank you guys for everything!
Firstly and very importantly, staff is amazing. Either we are talking about bar or restaurant. Entertainment is absolutely brilliant, they made us feel very good. There were 4 of them (2 guys and 2 ladies) and all are fantastic. Food was also great, facilities well maintained, all in all my warm recommendation.
We have stayed at many resorts in the Maldives over a period of 20 years . If people haven't visited the Maldives before then they will be Impressed by the landscape whichever resort they go to so I can understand other reviews. We were only here for a couple of days before moving onto another resort . This place is just very average compared to other resorts . Very average food and service and the young men doing the water sports were far more interested in showing off to our daughters rather doing what they should have been doing . We won't be back and I would suggest that albeit you might need a seaplane flight rather than a speedboat it's worth it to get to a better quality option .
We just came back on 11.2.18.It's been 24 hrs.Its hard to forget the good time we had at the resort. The entire staff were very courteous and helpful. Not to forget the scuba diving instructors who were really great. My son's had a great time under them. The beach bungalow was exquisite. I am really going to recommend this resort to all my friends and relatives.
It is most relaxing place to be.. Heaven. Food is very nice good choice for vegetarian buffet. we only stayed for 4 nights but could have stayed more after traveling India & Sri Lanka. we prefer beach bungalow... Every night they entertainment for children & adults.
Myself and my 26 year old daughter have just returned from paradise, we stayed 10 nights, 5 in a beach bungalow and 5 in a haven water villa The Beach bungalow was fine, not luxurious but clean & comfortable with everything needed, your own little veranda with table and chairs looking out to the beautiful sea 🌊 Also your own 2 sunbeds - no one on the beach in your location so it feels very remote, we stayed in 286 (bungalows 270-300 are all on a beautiful part of the beach, facing the water villas on the quiet side of the island) The haven water villa was huge, jacuzzi on the deck, larger bed and more luxurious than the beach bungalow however the sun does not stay on the deck for long so we always went back to the beach or the pool in the afternoon to enjoy the sun, If there were accommodations on the beach that were to the standard of the water villa this would be great but when I return I will opt for the beach bungalows and not upgrade purely because of the lack of sunshine on the deck. The restaurant that you eat at when in a beach bungalow had a vast choice of food at all times and the staff were very accommodating - humble & professional waiters who were very attentive, shout out to Nazeeh our waiter who gave us excellent service. My only complaint would be that the food was heavily dominated by Indian cuisine which although was very tasty I felt that the restaurants should offer different nation dishes like having a big USA night, big Chinese night etc. The over water restaurant where we eat when we were in the water villa had a much nicer ambience and the view of the ocean, felt more like an up market restaurant and lots more space between the tables however the choice of food was more limited. The bar staff in the Hulhangu Bar were sometimes a bit curt, except for Samaam who was always courteous and polite, We were all inclusive however this only entitles you to eat in the main buffet restaurants and not the seafood restaurant or the Italian restaurant and also only 5/6 cocktails are included which I felt was limited. As a returning guest we were given a complimentary meal in the seafood restaurant which was very nice, the belly dancer livened up the atmosphere and added to the enjoyment of the evening. The reception staff were always very helpful and offered great customer service. The animation team lead by Bebo were excellent, they encouraged but never pressured everyone to join in and they always made sure that everyone had fun, they were the ultimate professionals and very talented, Paradise island is by far the most beautiful island I have ever been to, breathtaking in fact. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone and will definitely be returning. Paradise personified ❤️
I was stay in Paradise Island Resort & Spa from 4th Feb to 7th Feb 2018. it was very excellent and peace full stay there. very nice food buffet breakfast and buffet Dinner was very good so many variety of food available there. room was very neat and clean room was very close to beach.
landed with family 3 days back. This place is nothing short of heaven! Excellent service, Great staff and Luxury at its best! Nour at the Excursion desk made our entire excursion itinerary and is Brilliant! At the main Bar, if you want to enjoy some cool drinks ...look for Ronak...this guy will serve you some real classics and is extremely courteous and humble! His way of making and getting to taste you a cocktail gives an impression of his knowledge and craftsman ship at bar counter. Thank you Ronak for the wonderful service, people like you make such places for us to visit again! GOD Bless! Thank you to Nour too!
