Our stay at Pullman ZamZam was very stressful and disappointing. We were a family of six with four young children under the age of ten. We booked two rooms, and each room was supposed to have three beds.
Before arriving, we contacted the hotel several times to request connecting rooms or at least rooms on the same floor. We explained that we had small children and also a child with special needs.
At check in, the front desk staff was rude and unhelpful. We were given rooms on different floors, and one of the rooms did not even have the correct number of beds. We repeatedly asked for help, but were told nothing could be done.
Our booking was prepaid, and we expected to receive what we had reserved. That did not happen.
We stayed for four nights and asked every day for a correction. No solution was offered. No one took responsibility.
We could not leave our children alone on a different floor. As a result, we all slept in one room, and some family members had to sleep on the floor. It was very uncomfortable and upsetting. This negatively affected what was meant to be a meaningful family trip to Makkah.
The booking process was also disappointing, and the issue was never properly resolved. Because of this experience, we would not choose this hotel again
