We had no problems at this hotel - from the welcome by a crew of very friendly staff to the checking out. Room was very light and warm. . Bathroom very clean. Good nights sleep in comfortable beds. We did take on board an earlier reviewers comments of asking for a side room and had a lovely quiet stay. Breakfast was great too. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a quiet stay - perhaps a little far out for night clubbers but the taxi system in Madrid is excellent

Last time I arrived at midday and spent the rest of the day in the room as I had woke up too early. During the time I was visited by room keepers five times! What was the reason? I don't know. Plus the hotel provides drinking water in the room for 4 euro. Usually it is for free.

Strategically located to access different points of interest in the City while avoiding the big crowds of the downtown area. Close to an important bus station, in the proximity of different metro lines and close to the shops in the Salamanca neighborhood.

Ask for a bedroom not on the main road side, exceptionally noisy when the window is open. Great breakfast, something for everyone, if you want a cooked breakfast, go to the back of the restaurant where your order can be taken. If I go back to Madrid, this will be my first choice of hotel.

We booked for 5 nights in a standard double and it was a great place. The barrio is very up market Salamanca. So close to airport and everything. We used the Apple map app to find bus routes to all places around the city. We also walked nearly everywhere. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Pros: Nice hotel. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Good breakfeast busseft with Spanish specialties. The rooms are good and clean. The location is convenient. Cons: The selection of international TV programs is poor.

Good located hotel, helpful personnel, no issues with my room or anything. Rich breakfast, options from fresh juices, omelette, fruits to some sweet stuff. Everything very tasty. What would I change? Just the view from the window could be nicer :)

Visiter Madris this past October and stayed here. The staff at the front desk were very kind and patient. No one spoke English fully so my Spanglish had to be stepped up. The room was nice and cozy with snacks and beverages available in a small refrigerator for pay. The bed was nice and firm. It was very comfortable there. The water was soft and not drying and the water pressure was strong. The room was small but it was European big. I loved it. The hotel is approximately four blocks away from the Avenida de America metro station which on my way home I used to go to the airport. Getting to the hotel from the airport by taxi is a 30 euro flat rate to travel to the neighborhood where the hotel is. In using the metro to go home, I save over 25 euros and the metro ride was approximately 40 minutes total which was as long as it took in a cab due to traffic. The hotel serves food of course but I ate outside. There is a restaurant almost everywhere you look in Madrid and there are plenty near the hotel. I walked around at 2 and 3 a.m by myself and always felt safe. The neighborhood is wonderful and the hotel is great.

I stayed at this hotel for business reasons and I absolutely loved it. The room was very nice and clean, good facilities (gym), great breakfast. It was easy to arrange some conference halls at very last minute. Very easy to reach the center with the bus, which stops a few meters away from the hotel.

This hotel was perfect for my one night stay in madrid. It was close to the metro and walkable to shops and good eats. The staff were very friendly, were quick to check me in & out, and helped me print an important document free of charge. The room was a good size for 1-2 people, comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay here again if I'm lucky to return to Madrid.
