Couldn't find fault. 4 Star at its best. Quality everything. Staff impeccable. 1st Class Breakfast. Will definitely stay there again. Booked in January so forgot I'd booked a Junior Suite. Price wise I think I fell lucky. Tip. Just shop around.
Very good value for money. I was lucky to get an upgrade to a junior suit, which is very specious. Good location with excess to the Metro around the corner and surrounded by number of good quality restaurants
strange smell in the room -noisy air con and the ding from the lift to wake the dead. hotel location was good, breakfast was ok, staff where great - im sure they would have moved my room if I could be bothered to moan.
We were on a group trip and the 12 of us stayed here for 2 nights. It is in a pretty good location. Safe area. When we checked in there were a couple of minor issues. One window wouldn't open. One of our colleges had an issue with the bathroom door but they were all fixed by the end of the night. Staff was nice. We didn't experience the breakfast or any meal for that matter so can't comment on that. Overall. Not a bad spot! Little tip, Get 2 keys so you can leave one in the room so the ac stays on. Better then coming back to a hot stail room and your clothes smell like Calle! "the street"
I spent two nights in a superior room on the 7th floor during a business trip. I appreciated a lot the modern style of this hotel, especially compared to the Hotel Miguel Angel in which I used to stay. My room seemed brand new, was large, and even had a balcony which was a good and quite enjoyable surprise. Staff was excellent and very reactive. Great Wifi as well. My only regrets are (1) the lack of hot meals at the breakfast buffet, and (2) the AC vent being placed just in front of the bed and keeping sending me cold air in the face while sleeping (if I turned the AC off, it was much too hot in the room). Also note that, if the hotel location was perfect for my business meetings, it might not suit all needs as the hotel is not centrally located in Madrid. This said, I highly recommend this NH property.
Good location with parking under hotel. Upgrade to superior room well worth the extra money. Very good breakfast buffet in a nice environment. Friendly and courteous staff. In the famous Barrio de Salamanca, although near the end of it, but just 10-15 minute drive to Barajas airport.
This is a nice hotel, with excellent service, perfect for a business trip, since it is a bit off the touristic center. It took only 10 minutes from the airport and it takes probably 8 minutes by taxi to the center of Madrid. The only think I was missing was a swimmingpool ;-)
Arrived early Sunday morning from US expecting to drop our bags until they could check us in. Oscar accommodated us, allowing us to check in early which was great as we were exhausted from our overnight flight. Room was excellent, service was excellent. Breakfast each day had many choices and was good. Will definitely look at NH Hotels in the future.
Last year, we stayed at NH Madrid Principe de Vergara. We were really pleased with this hotel, yes it is not in front of La Puerta de Alcala, but it is located just two blocks from the subway and bus station Intercambiador de las Americas. From this hotel, you can go to any place you need in Madrid, there are many restaurants and some bars at walking distance and the area looks safe. On the other hand the breakfast buffet does not have many options, but they offer quality instead of quantity, the coffee is good and you can order eggs the way you want, just be careful, if you order ham it will be 'jamon serrano', which is more tasty and salty. The rooms are clean and average size, I would say that a little bit bigger that other hotel chains, the staff is friendly and very professional, they are willing to help and provide any information you need.
Perfect location, friendly staff and a great breakfast buffet, nice clean rooms. We arrived late in the hotel and nevertheless we were served a nice meal in the hotel restaurant. When we have a stop over in Madrid we choose this hotel.
