Hotel Pullman Madrid Airport & Feria4.0 out of 5.0

I booked here as it was close to the airport (for an early flight) and has a free airport shuttle. It is about 25 minutes north east of central Madrid and is a few minutes walk from Feria de Madrid subway that gets you into Madrid very quickly. It is located in a new exhibition area, wonderful futuristic buildings and wide avenues, such a contrast to 'old' Madrid. There is a huge park (Parque Juan Carlos 1) nearby with impressive modern sculpture and only a short walk to a shopping mall with a large Hipercor supermarket. Because you are out of Madrid the cost of the hotel is much better (almost half) and the amenity is better. The hotel is quite new, modern, large and the rooms are very comfortable, clean and well laid out. The shower has several heads so you get sprayed from all directions! But there is no light in the shower! Very quiet air-con, but the window also opens. Very quiet rooms. The bed was huge and SO comfy! As dinner options were limited I chose to go to the restaurant - what a treat and certainly the best food I have had in the past 3 weeks in Europe - all beautifully cooked and presented in a modern Spanish style. The breakfast was also very good - wide variety of fresh foods and drinks. Check in and out was quick and friendly. There is a gym and a large outdoor pool. So if you want to save a bit of money on accommodation, stay here, and catch a train into Madrid each day (the tickets are very reasonable). Great value and highly recommend.
A comfortable and welcoming hotel, which is very good for the airport, and not at all noisy. It has a shuttle bus to the airport, even from early in the morning. The restaurant offers tasty food with good service.
The Pullman and Novotel are dependable airport hotels although they are probably fully booked during trade shows at the Feria. Metro is only a few steps away for access to downtown. The shuttle is efficient and on time. The hotel offers dining deals (17€) as well as a quick breakfast coffee and bun for 2.50€.
As a conference hotel this is great and I have no complaints. The hotel is a 10-15minute drive from the airport. There is a hotel shuttle that leaves the airport and hotel every 30 minutes at the xx:00 and xx:30. It is very efficient and free. The hotel is the nearest to the two conference centres and just across the road from the main congress centre. It takes less than 3 minutes to go from the hotel to the congress centre which is great. The rooms are fine, not luxurious but very comfortable. The TV is high quality but there is only one English Channel. Although very convenient for the conference centre and the airport, this hotel is away from the city centre. You will need the Metro or a taxi and it takes around 20-30minutes to reach the city centre. The metro station is 5-8 minute walk and it is very efficient, clean and easy to use. There are not many restaurants in the area so unless you go somewhere by taxi you will be eating in the hotel.
A good hotel with all that you need for a work stay using Madrid Airport. It is close to the airport but with good connections to the city using public transports. Recommend it for short business trips
So I checked in and when I opened my door, I saw a suitcase and assumed a previous guest had forgotten it n room hadn’t been checked, then I saw a girl in bed! What sort of a hotel is this? Poor girl was probably scared as was I, This is a security risk of the highest order, Thank God I was another female. Also, the girl who’s room it was was airline crew so think of the potential risk if I were a thief (airline ID, uniform- in today’s climate it doesn’t bear thinking about) Finally I got in my room, was ok but I noticed behind the door was a train ticket from a previous guest dated Oct 2017, has the room not been cleaned in the last 3 months. Also, I was promised a dish was vegetarian but google translate told me otherwise, was told ,sepia, is a kind of mushroom but google told me it’s a fish! And judging by the smell, Google was right! I’ve been veggi for 23 years out of personal choice but imagine if someone actually had an allergy to meat and ate that!!
The Hotel has a Shuttle bus from the airport, I seemed to have timed it badly, in that it was a 35 minute wait for the Shuttle to return to pick up point (I must have just missed it when I arrived at the Shuttle stop). 10 minute drive to the hotel in a very nice Shuttle bus, the hotel check-in was fast and efficient with friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable, I liked the shower in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet and the free bottles of water were very welcome. The Gym at the hotel is small but it did have two running machines, 1 recliner bike, an elliptical trainer and weights and a bench (There is an external swimming pool but was closed in November when I stayed). The breakfasts were very good and had an evening meal in the restaurant, the food was good and the price very reasonable. Overall a nice place to stay if working or attending the Feria as it is only a 5 minute walk away.
This hotel has a very good position if you go to Madrid for business at IFEMA or want to stay close to the airport, as being 5' away from IFEMA southern entrance and 2' from metro station, 1 stop away from Barajas T1/T2. Not by hazard I have seen several flying crews going in and out. Personnel is very efficient and is a plus. Common areas are quite small, so if a group of 10 people want to have a beer they immediately become crowdy and noisy, My room was more than appropriate for the level of the hotel in size and cleanliness. As facing the main road (Avenida Capital de Espana) it was a bit noisy despite being at a high floor, although night traffic is extremely reduced. Some buzz from air conditioning was a bit disturbing, but the option was no heating. I did not like much lavabo and shower: the first had the tap too close to the border, forcing you to lie to wash your hands (and pressing the towel rack on your stomach or legs, as being just in front of it); about the second, in a full week I could not find any way to avoid to be hit by cold water while opening - few seconds, but unpleasant. Breakfast was in a room that looked like too much to a cafeteria, missing hot dishes like scrambled eggs (available upon request, but adding time to the service), with food of average quality. The room has own style, and that's appreciated. However, I noticed several defects in the aisle and room: a small hole in the baseboard; two holes and a sign on the wall showing something that was removed; extremely limited desk space, making almost impossible to work with own laptop; some sign of age on sofa. Positive: good wifi, fast and stable; shuttle to/from the airport. All in, an average choice with key pros in terms of position (also consider several good places where eating in 15' walking range as well as a mall) and some cons in terms of quality, in average more than acceptable.
Hotel has free shuttle and easy to go to downtown by mrt. However, room and hotel is outdated. Pricewise is a little high for that kind of experience and ambience. I did not take the breakfast. Plus side is free shuttle to and from the airport. Hotel close to station to go to downtown.
This hotel is outside city center, but at 5/8 minutes from airport by metro. Rooms are clean and spacious. Perfect if you're in Madrid for work. Taxi is always available. I really loved breakfast, you can find anything you need. Olive oil too and fresh fruit, as a market. Great! Only 2 things: wi-fi doesn't work so good inside rooms (it's not fine in a business hotel); there isn't a kettle.
