Very disappointed with the service. The room cleaning was done without actually cleaning anything — they didn’t even change the towels. We had to call and ask them to replace the towels, which should have been done in the first place.

La ubicación es insuperable! Realmente conveniente porque está cerca de todo, perfectamente puedes salir a caminar por las zonas más representativas y regresar rápido a descansar, además es súper fácil llegar en renfe o metro porque está a dos cuadras de la estación. Brilliant location for Palace, parks and Plaza España. We arrived into Chamartin train station and it was easy to get to the hotel on Metro Line 10 and a short walk. The hotel is unassuming on the outside, but once inside we loved the sympathetic renovations, it felt cosy and comfortable especially the bar area which is beautiful. Our cool and quiet room was perfect, very comfortable bed, twin basins and a bath in the large bathroom, loads of storage and a lovely dressing table with a lift-up lid. Electronic safe was easy to use and the little fridge perfect for keeping drinks cool. Housekeeping was excellent. The continental breakfast was delicious, particularly the brownies! The dining room was calm and relaxing. Overall our stay was perfect and we wouldn’t hesitate to return to this hotel.

Overall cleanliness very poor There was a used cotton bud at the wall floor junction in the bathroom on entry into the room The grouting on the walls of the bathroom and wall floor junctions were very dirty The hotel was overall very worn The bar and restaurant was closed which was disappointing Staff were not very helpful and we were never asked if everything was satisfactory during our stay
