We enjoyed the close location to museums and train station. You can walk everywhere!

It's a nice hotel and very reasonably priced. The only issue is that it's away from the main area and very close to the train station. While I was checking in on the first day, some guy tried to steal/roll my suitcase away... I grabbed it quickly as I was alert, and had been warned this might happen. He said it was a mistake, but this happened to my close friend who lost an entire suitcase while arriving in Barcelona. The check-in clerk was doing his best to inundate me with too much information quickly, hence I had my hand off my luggage. I had to wonder if he was assisting this guy who tried to grab my bag? The hotel itself is clean and the rooms are small and lovely. The staff are nice enough but the luggage experience really bugged me and left me upset.

It is close to the train station, great hotel for a good price, good location. Definitely would stay here again. Staff was pleasant and helpful! Also, fantastic internet service.

really nice staff and great location. Very close to the train station so great for taking day trips outside of madrid.

It's our last stay in Spain for our honeymoon. We chose this hotel for its location because it is close to Atocha train station (still a 10-15 walk). NO Free WiFi if you choose a cheaper room NOT all types of rooms qualify for this Free Wifi. Toilet and hand towel bar by the sink is so close that if you are a fit person or tall, you have no room to move you can hit this bar easily. The bathroom ceiling has visible sunk crack line it wasn't well repaired and patched. Staff is not as friendly as we experienced with two other hotels (both 4 star hotels) during our trip. We stayed on 2nd floor. The floor was not well lit. And the apparently the cleaning maid intentionally parked the supply carts in the hallway all the time. We did not see any maid present to attend the carts. Very weird. Our window was facing the back of alley. It's a quiet room for sure. We feel like it's a 3 star room in the US. We only recommend this hotel or at least the cheaper room if you just want to stay one night to catch the next day flight.

Good selection for a stay of a few days. Close to the Atocha RR station, walking distance to Prado. Not a spectacular hotel or a spectacular bargain. Only recommend it for continental breakfast, not for main meals.

Conveniently located , good value .Close to Atocha station ,adn museum and restaurant area. Nice

The hallway smelled like curry. The first floor room was noisy due to street proximity. Wifi was included with my purchase but we had to call front desk to explain that before being given the password. TV screen small by modern standards. Not thrilled.

It's a nice short walk from the Atocha train station. Great location. Worked well for us, not overly expensive.

Hotel check in process was seamless! Room clean and the location is just perfect

Greeted by smiling staff and checked in promptly, was given maps of the city(very helpful).Beautiful lobby with modern furnishings. Our room on the 4th flr. was clean spacious and bright, facing the street(Calle Atocha) nice view and surprisingly quiet. Bed and pillows were comfy.Wood flooring and big closet with a safe.Marble bathroom with bidet. But,the bath towels were old worn out and rough to the skin..toiletries provided were very small bottle of shampoo, body wash and teenie tiny soap bar.Regardless...Convenient..location was tops.

I have stayed here before, and plan to return on future trips to Madrid. Clean, comfortable and conveniently located for Atocha train station, museums and a short walk to Plaza Santa Ana bar area. Staff are friendly (considering that they are madrileños) and breezed me through both check in and check out processes.

This is a very nice hotel, great location near a metro stop and the RENFE station, and Museo del Prado. However, we were there 3 nights and did not get a good nights rest any of those nights. You can hear traffic and sirens all night!

The hotel is a block away from Atocha train station and very close to the 3 major art museums. Madrid is a very walkable city and we walked from the hotel to the major sites such as Plaza Mayor, del Sol, Royal Palace etc (10 to 20 min walks. We (two female travelers) felt safe walking in the area. Our hotel room was large, modern and comfortable. Only drawback to the hotel was that they charged for wi-fi service and we could only pick it up in the lobby, not in our room. However, we had a great [...]deal on the room rate for the days we stayed so even with paying for wi-fi, I still felt it was a good deal.

Nice clean hotel. As far as the hotel, staff and food. It was fine. Nothing wrong. But, if you are any kind of budget this is not for you. Stay out of Madrid and take the train in. Prime example is the internet. At just under 13 euro a day or 1/2 that for 1 hour the extras add up fast.

The Husa Paseo del Arte hotel did not disappoint during our week long stay in Madrid. Our oldest daughter is studying in Madrid for spring semester and was staying with a host family 3 blocks from the hotel. We were able to see 3 of the 5 museums near the hotel. We spent a lot of time in the Las Letras neighborhood sampling food, wine, and the sights. We could easily catch the Metro to travel around Madrid, We walked over to Retiro park on 3 different occasions, and we walked to Atocha train station to take a weekend trip to Seville all from the hotel. The staff behind the front desk would talk to you in English and appreciated our attempts to communicate in Spanish. Everyone in our traveling party liked our rooms and the hotel. My father-in-law wishes American hotels would design their rooms like the ones we found at the Paseo del Arte. The only negatives that I found during the stay was that the tile and wood floors would carry the sounds of hard soled shoes, and I wished the Wi-Fi internet access was complimentary rather than fee based.

Arrived from Cadiz at Puerta de Atocha Station, crossed the street, and I was at the hotel! While not very near to the city center, this hotel is also very convenient to the museums, Retiro Park, Botanical Garden and Paseo del Prado.

Easy walking distance from the three art museums and the southern (Atocha)rail station, from which we took fast rail trips to Toledo (20 min) and Cordoba (just under 2 hrs). For 2 euros, the yellow bus connects the airport to this rail station.

Good clean hotel walking distance from Atocha train station. Nice, large modern rooms.

Great location. walking distance from Atocha (bus ride away from the airport). Staff is very friendly. Good gym. very celan rooms. beds were bit hard but comfortable otherwise. It is on a very busy street so it does get loud.
