The staff are exceptional, the hotel stunning & the red level service worth every penny. I cannot rate this hotel or its staff highly enough. If we return to Madrid in the future, we would absolutely stay here again!

Excellent hotel and location. Stayed in junior level suite with red level access. Great amenities in the room. Very close to Plaza Mayor. Staff was very hospitable and accommodating. Free breakfast in the morning was a great start to the day.

The property was beautiful. All staff were inviting and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to attend to our every need. The cafe and dining services were excellent in all ways - selection, taste and service. Highly recommend!

Fantastic staff who were attentive from the moment you arrived to departure. The concierge was also excellent with some great recommendations. The roof top bar was fabulous with views to the palace and the cathedral. The only negative was the price of the hotel breakfast but there are plenty of fabulous spots to go outside the hotel . This is a truly fabulous hotel but what sets it apart is its staff.

It is a beautiful setting, like living in a museum. As with many hotels, it is the smaller points that separate a very good from a great hotel. Do understand this is a very good hotel but I would highlight a few negatives that keep it from being a great one: 1. 4th floor

This hotel was lovely. It is in a terrific central location, but it is on a quiet street. We stayed on the Red Level, and the access to the lounge was great. I worked there some afternoons, and it made working on vacation a little better! I would not hesitate to return!
