AC Hotel Madrid Feria by Marriott

4.0 out of 5.0

Clean and modern rooms, friendly staff, good food (recommend the local ham as starter or just as sharing tapa). Very close to airport so convenient for quick travel meetings. The bartender, Alvaro, was great and deserves a special mention.

This AC Hotel had a beautiful room for us. Giant TV and glass furniture in the bathroom. The front lobby is nice and staff were friendly. We got a parking spot out front and therefore got free parking.

Bit out of the city, but well communicated by metro and bus. It is a 4* hotel with everything you may need. It is clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and with really high quality amenities in the room.

I have been using this hotel as an overnight stop for Madrid airport for several years as it is only a 10 minute drive from the terminal. It is a modern hotel - part of the Marriott group and rooms and is situated on the M40 ring road. There is an underground station a 15 minute walk away with connections to Central Madrid. Rooms are comfortable (although hot at times - there is powerful air conditioning however) and clean with a good fully equipped bathroom. The breakfast buffet is substantial and there is a limited evening menu served in the bar. At weekends you can get a good price package including room, wi-fi, breakfast and parking.

I stayed at this hotel because I had a one day layover from Barcelona before going back to Los Angeles. I used Marriott rewards points for my night. I chose this hotel because I had an early flight out of Barajas, and wanted to be close by. The hotel is close to the airport, but the taxi ride still cost 20€s which probably was the minimum fare from the airport. Logistically, there is nothing around the hotel that a tourist would want to see and the San Lorenzo Metro is a long walk. So using the metro to get into the city center from this hotel is not convenient. The hotel is located in a business park area (picture attached). At around 2:00, the bar/restaurant area is filled with professionals who work near by. Unless you need to be in the area for business, I would stay away from this location. The hotel is clean, modern, and the rooms are comfortable; however, the location is poor.

we are so lucky to have found this hotel in 2016 and we used it now this visit 2017.... thanks to the staff very nice all of them a bit fat from center but well worth every penny i always have a car for my travels and this hotel meets all our needs good food. great beds. cold ac and location specially if you have a flight out very close to airport

Stayed, because of business, for 4 nights and enjoyed it. Rooms are great and well equipped. Internet could improve a lot as you have to log in/out quite often. Great breakfast, with essential stuff of great quality offered. Dinner is a bit different story. Service slow and Staff eager but undermanned at peak hours. Location? Far from the center and at night time nothing interesting at vicinity, but that depends on the purpose of your trip. I was going to the center and used taxi (@ 25-30€ per trip) Great, helpful Reception staff.

The staff are very friendly. The rooms are very clean and a good size. The gym is small but practical. The restaurant is reasonable with a good choice. The metro station is about 700m away. Airport and Feria are close, otherwise far from city centre. The walls are very thin and voices and noises are clearly heard from the neighbouring rooms. The windows are not perfectly sealed but the area is fairly silent during the night.

Stayed here for a couple of nights on business. Hotel is very convenient for my office but is well away from Madrid City Centre. Rooms are modern and well appointed. Close to a busy motorway so road noise could be an issue if you were a light sleeper. Overall, a good hotel with nice feel.

The hotel looks nice, clean lobby, modern style and the food they served at dinner was decent. However the room quality was quite disappointing. There are no complementary bottles of water in the room, only in the minibar. The room was very hot and the air was dry, although it was close to 0°C outside (in January), the AC was not able to lower the temperature in the room. Worst of all, the shower hose was broken and the water gushed out in all directions except from the shower. Furthermore, there are no Kleenex in the bathroom, which is quite surprising for a hotel in this price range.
