Your holiday home is inspired by traditional local architecture and goes one step further by integrating local materials to blend harmoniously with the surrounding nature. The house was originally built at the end of the 18th century and has been preserved as faithfully as possible. Relax in the living room with its decorative fireplace and wooden beamed ceiling, take a seat on the sofa and enjoy the cosy atmosphere. Most of the furniture and textiles are antique and made from natural materials. Water is a precious commodity here. There is a spring directly in front of the house from which you can drink fresh, clean water.



Enjoy the terrace with its colourful flowers and the seating area under the parasol. Have breakfast there or discuss your plans for the day. Stroll through the garden and let your gaze wander over the wooded surroundings. Take advantage of the quiet location to switch off and listen to the sounds of nature.



The small valley in which your holiday home is located has remained largely unchanged since the late 1700s. As a result, you may encounter native wildlife here. You can also visit the picturesque alleyways of Orta San Giulio, explore the island of San Giulio with its basilica or hike along the lakeside paths of Lago dOrta.

Ruhe und Natur

Wir fanden ein sehr gut gereinigtes Haus vor. In der Wohnung hat es uns an nichts gefehlt, es gab absolut nichts zu beanstanden. Das Haus hat eine sehr ruhige Lage mit herrlicher Aussicht und ist geschmackvoll innen wie aussen eingerichtet. Unsere sehr netten Vermieter Marinella und Paolo sind sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Einige sehr schöne Wanderwege (von leicht nach Arola bis mittelschwer in die Berge) starten direkt am Haus. Ansonsten ist es ein sehr guter Startpunkt, um mit dem Auto rasch an den Orta See zu fahren. Schwimmen waren wir entweder in Omegna (nähe Zipline) oder in Pella. Die Orte Orta und Pella haben uns am besten gefallen. Auf dem Weg nach Orta (mit dem Boot von Pella) sollte man einen kleinen Zwischenstop auf die „Isola di San Giulio“ machen. Als Eisliebhaber kann ich die Eisdiele Antica Torre nur empfehlen. Besten Dank an Marienella und Paolo Gruß Kalle&Kirsten

Wo sich Fuchs und Hase Gute Nacht sagen

Das Haus liegt wunderschön gelegen inmitten eines Berghains, umgeben von einem paradiesischen Garten, der liebevoll angelegt ist. Am 1. Morgen wurden wir von den Glöckchen einer Gruppe Ziegen und Kühe begleitet, welche jenseits des Gartengatters, welches aus Naturästen gefertigt ist, ihre Weide hat. Wir haben das als überaus malerisch empfunden. Der Weg zum Haus war sehr gut beschrieben und mit Fotos dokumentiert, die Besitzer waren sehr entgegenkommend. Da es sich beim letzten Stück um einen feldweg mit überhängenden Zweigen handelt, ist tatsächlich ein entsprechendes Auto mit am besten höherem radstand (bloss kein Sportwagen) zu empfehlen. Das Haus ist liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, Da es sich um ein Steinhaus handelt, welches naturgemäss die feuchtigkeit speichert, waren wir froh, dass wir eigene Handtücher dabei sodass wir den geruch nach feuchtigkeit übertünchen konnten, auch ein eigenes Kissen würde ich empfehlen,- wir haben uns welche auf der Insel St Orta in dem Souvenir lädchen gekauft- eine wunderschöne Erinnerung . Im Garten haben wir uns total wohlgefühlt und konnten in der Ruhe und mit den Geräuschen der Natur wunderbar abschalten. Zum See sind es etwa 10 min mit dem Auto durch maleriasche landschaft. Strand und essen gibt es gutes in Pella. Leider ist die Küche überhaupt nicht paradiesisch und lädt nicht zur benutzung ein. Ausser im Kessel Wasser kochen oder etwas Salat zusammenschnippeln war uns das Kochen nicht möglich. Die Küchenutensilien sind alt und abgenutzt und auch der Backofen lädt nicht zum Benutzen ein. Die nächsten Nachbarn sind ca 300 m Luftlinie und man begrüßt sich per handzeichen, falls bewohnt. Zusammenfassend würde ich sagen, dass wir ein einzigartiges Idyll gefunden haben, in welchem sich auch bei Wanderungen durch den Wald und in die berge hinein contemplative ruhe finden lässt, fernab vom alltäglichen Rummel.

Not so nice house for a summer holiday in a beautiful environment.

The place was mosquito invested. No mosquito nets or protection for the windows was available. We had to sleep with windows closed( in very hot weather) one set of ( very old)sheets was provided for two weeks. The towels were very old and not enough. Everything in the house was torn down. A very small fridge for 4 people. Lots of small things of the owners in the bathroom( not clean). The bathroom smelled awful. Luckily the lake was wonderful. We spend all the time there and walked in the mountains. Those were beautiful.

Verrukkelijk week doorgebracht: authentiek en sfeervol huis op schitterende plek.

Op 10 minuten rijden vanaf Pella, stijl omhoog de heuvels in, tref je midden in de prachtige natuur dit met zorg onderhouden authentieke familiehuisje. Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. De eigenaren en de ‘sleutelpersoon’ zijn goed bereikbaar en erg vriendelijk. De opmerkelijke stilte en de koelte in huis (zonder muggen) zijn een weldaad voor ontspanning en een uitstekende nachtrust. In Pella een liefelijke boulevard met het lekkerste ijs en een paar goede restaurants. Ook hier viel ons de rust op hoewel het hoog zomer was. Plek is uitstekende basis voor wandelingen, boottochtjes, bezoek van stadjes als Ortá en Omegna en ook Milaan. Absolute aanrader voor rustzoekers die deze streek willen leren kennen. Wij hopen hier zeker terug te keren.
