It was a great visit. Easy check in, room was just what we needed, bathroom was big which is great when you share it with a family a six. Pool was great--we had it to ourselves. Breakfast was great--lots of choices. Staff was super friendly.

This hotel is great especially if you are going to the Alliant Energy Center. There is a hallway that connects to the building which is wonderful when the weather is not so good. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The breakfast is good.

Good room. We stayed three days. Staff helpful and friendly.

The rooms were fine but they had multiple flies and dozens of ladybugs. Pretty gross. Staff was unresponsive when we tried to change our room.

Room needed updating which I believe they are in the process of doing. The carpet was dirty, new tub/shower but mirror in bathroom needed to be replaced. Make up on wall in bathroom and dusty. Toilet plugged up second night we were there. Now after all of the bad things the good was they offer a nice breakfast, snacks and drinks in the evening from 5-6:30, shuttle to restaurants at night. If you are attending an event at the Alliant Energy Center the hotel is connected so you can save the parking fee. Staff is very friendly.

We just needed a place to stay for one night after a long day of driving. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and quick. The rooms were nice and clean. We didn't use the kitchen area, but it was clean and would be convinent to have. Continental breakfast was included and pretty good! Overall it was a nice place to stay.

The room was fantastic. The amenities were great. But best of all was Cathy at the front desk who took care of our every need and was just wonderful. What a great hotel this is. Some in our family decided to stay right on State Street in Madison but were very jealous at how much better we had it.

I've stayed in many hotels and never stay below a 3 star. This hotel is definetly NOT a 3 star hotel. Had I paid less than $100.00 for my room I would have left and bought another room elsewhere. I paid 180.00 for one night and this hotel is a 2 star at best. That is ridiculous. The entire hotel is extremely dated. The doors had peeling paint, the walls were thin, and children threw tantrums right outside our door as my baby was trying to sleep. If you are looking for a 3 star hotel, please choose somewhere else.

We were surprised by the space in our room. Convenient access to downtown and beltway locations.

The hotel itself was fine, although we ended up booking during the the state wrestling meet. Great for those attending the meet, as it is a quick walk, but annoying for us. Lots of kids, and we were leaving ours at Grandma's house... Room was clean and staff was friendly.

Great hotel for the beer fest. walking distance. staff were very helpful.

We got a room here for freakfest as last year we stayed down the street at the sheraton and the only complaint I had was that there wasn't a sign off of john nolen drive pointing you in the right direction. Otherwise nice place, big rooms, great location to the interstate and right next door to the alliant energy center. Overall I would stay again.

My business partner and I stayed here for a week to get some writing done. This hotel had descent amenities for us, including a free breakfast, pool and hot tub to relax, and also a nightly social hour in which you could walk down stairs and grab a free beer or glass of wine. The staff was friendly and I'd definitely stay here again. Most people would potentially complain that they're not in the heart of downtown, but since we brought our bikes, downtown was a 15 minute ride along a beautiful lakeside bike path.

We stayed for a Badger football game and thought it might be a little too far from the stadium, but the Badger Bus makes a stop at the hotel and actually makes it very convenient to stay here for a football game

Very clean, courteous staff, large rooms with all the amenities. Location not so great if you are not attending something at the Alliance Center. Nothing within walking distance. The hot breakfast looked delicious but the line was so long we chose to check out without eating. More tables maybe? It is a little pricey but I chose a weekend with an event at the convention center next door so that might be the reason. All in all...very, very nice.

Hotel is conveniently located to business sites nearby, of which there are many. Rates are reasonable. Accommodations are fairly simple but clean and adequate. Staff was friendly, efficient, and competent (not that we needed anything special). Wifi in my room was almost unusable; signal was faint and dropped repeatedly. The desk clerk asserted that this is a known problem in only two rooms, of which mine was one. Fair enough, but if (a) this is a known problem; and (b) the hotel is not full, then why not put guests in other rooms?

It was over all a pretty good stay. It was close to the energy arena we went to.

A good clean room with a very good hot breakfast(eggs&sausage&french toast)just to name a few things. Did not try the free drinks and appetizers, due to we were at a hockey game then. Good location. Thought I booked a queen size bed but got a full, still very comfortable, could use bigger pillows though.

Great room for the Quilt Expo, great price and within walking distance. It was probably one of the largest motel rooms I've ever stayed in!

We stayed this past weekend for the Great Taste and the walk over was very easy. The rooms comfy and the free breakfast made the weekend. Also, just a short drive to downtown Madison.
