Hermoso y tranquilo escondite rural para dos cerca de Ludlow con impresionantes vistas

'Huggins' es una cabaña de mineros del siglo XVII con hermosas vistas dentro de un área de excepcional belleza natural. Adyacente a nuestra propia casa de campo, es completamente privada con coche propio, estacionamiento y jardín con impresionantes vistas hacia las Malverns.

Justo a través de la puerta principal, hay una pequeña área para botas y abrigos, y a la derecha hay una sala de desayunos. La puerta de la izquierda te lleva a través de la comodidad. Completo con vigas bajas, sillas cómodas, un televisor y estufa de leña para esas noches más frescas.
La cocina es pequeña y con más luces bajas, pero está equipada con todo lo necesario para una escapada con cocina.
Las escaleras conducen directamente a un pequeño rellano. A la derecha hay un baño grande y a la izquierda, el dormitorio con ventanas de doble apertura para una vista ininterrumpida.
La cabaña está decorada con simpatía en colores neutros y con un estilo para complementar el área. Tenemos una liebre que vive en el bosque a la derecha y a veces se le puede ver en el campo al frente, así como conejos, búhos, pájaros carpinteros y ciervos (barbechos, huevas y muntjac). Es posible que tenga la suerte de ver tejones en el jardín por la noche.
En el exterior, hay una zona de asientos elevada que garantiza que pueda aprovechar al máximo las vistas. También hay un cobertizo que puede usar para bicicletas si lo desea (solicite la llave).
Esta hermosa casa de campo es una verdadera vida rural, con las comodidades del precioso casco antiguo de Ludlow, a 4 millas de distancia y Tenbury Wells a 6 millas de distancia.

Un paraíso para los caminantes y directamente en kilómetros de senderos, no tiene que ir muy lejos para explorar y perderse en la naturaleza. Si disfruta de los días fuera, The Elan Valley está a poco más de una hora, Cardingmill Valley está a 30 minutos y estamos bien cubiertos por National Trust y English Heritage. Para los más aventureros, podrías probar suerte con las aves rapaces voladoras con Chris Neal a 5 minutos de distancia o caminar con lobos con lobo. Nice little cottage. I used it to stay for business. But the surrounding villages and nature are great as well. It is a perfect location for people who love to explore the area.

This is a lovely little cottage, peaceful, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The only sound was the birdsong. Lots of rabbits feeding in the garden. Excellent hosts. They gave us a very warm welcome but then left us completely undisturbed (but responded quickly when we had a query about the area). One of the nicest places we’ve stayed in, and the area is beautiful. Ludlow is an ancient town full of wonderful buildings and interesting shops, and a spectacular castle. astle.

We had a fantastic week at Huggins Cottage. Very cosy and warm, especially with the wood burning stove! The cottage is maintained to a very high standard with everything you need and Matthew and Laura were very welcoming. Very peaceful location and lovely views from the cottage and plenty of local attractions within a short drive.

Everything you could want from a staycation

Huggins cottage was the perfect getaway to celebrate our 4 year anniversary as a couple. Our hosts made the cottage feel like a home from home, we didn’t want to leave! We will definitely be staying here in the future and I have been recommending this stay to my family and friends.

Lovely little cottage

Comfortable and well equipped and a good size for 2. We loved the cottage.There was plenty of information in the cottage about the local area and things to do. Some thoughtful treats provided too. You felt nothing would be toouxh trouble of we had any queries - we didn't!

Cosy cottage near Ludlow

The property is small, but maintained and presented beautifully. The owners are extremely welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area. It was lovely to see wildlife on the lawn so close to the cottage.

Lovely cottage

Very happy for the six weeks as we were here a long time would of preferred a comfortable sofa to sit on , as found the little chairs a bit uncomfortable and not really high enough at the back for your head, apart from that was perfect .

Great stay

Great cottage to visit south Shropshire. Everything was as described. We were welcomed by the owners, who lived next door. Plenty of information was available about the area in the cottage. Lots of National Trust and English Heritage properties in the area to visit.

A lovely small cottage

A very nice small cottage, spotlessly clean. Lovely quiet location, with a great view, and convenient for Ludlow and Clee Hill. Good pub food only 10 mins walk. Very warm and friendly welcome from the hosts - thanks very much for the eggs!

Beautiful Cottage

If you are looking for a stay that is peaceful and quiet with lovely views then this cottage is for you. Cottage is beautiful with everything you need and more. The hosts Matthew and Laura will give you a warm welcome and are always available if you need them.

Week Stay

Our stay at Huggins was everything we hoped it would be. Perfect location close to the lovely town of Ludlow with fantastic views of the Shropshire countryside. Matthew and Laura were the perfect hosts and the welcome pack was very thoughtful and a lovely surprise. We hope to have the opportunity to visit again sometime in the future

A really lovely quiet stay where birdsong and the occasional chicken or sheep are the only noises you will hear. If you want to get away from it all for a few days yet be well positioned to explore Ludlow and the local area then this is the place for you. A car is a must to get around but there are some nice walks right from the doorstep.The property is well equipped, has everything needed for a perfect stay and is spotlessly clean. There is also a private grass garden with seating. Would not hesitate to stay again if in the area. I would recommend walking Long Mynd from Church Stretton which is a 30 min drive away but well worth it. Clee Hill is nearby and there are wonderful views to enjoy. Also do check opening times and book ahead for local pubs/restaurants for evening meals.

Lovely Cotttage

Pretty little cottage, nicely decorated and well set out. Very friendly but not intrusive owners live next door. Very tall people might struggle with some of the ceiling heights.
