Small but very nice hotel. It is located outside the historical center in a semi-rural environment. That is conducive to a quiet, relaxing stay. Getting to the historical center is an easy walk or one can use public transportation or taxis. The pool is beautiful but useable only in the summer as it not heated. Good breakfast by the pool in a enclosed room. Last but not least staff is courteous and always willing to help.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and the room was comfortable. A few things to note, though: - the hotel is a good 15m walk from the walls of Lucca, so you need to plan your days as it’s not easy to pop back during the day, especially in the heat of August. Bike hire is extra - 35 euro a day. - the pool is lovely - comfortable and a lovely space to relax. However, it’s only open from 10am - 7pm which was a shame as it’s not possible to have a swim before breakfast and then head out for the day. Worth bearing in mind if you have children who might be raring to get in the pool first thing! - no bar open in the evening and nowhere nearby to eat or drink, so be prepared to be out in Lucca in the evenings Overall the hotel was lovely and we enjoyed our stay, but the pool restrictions and the location are worth bearing in mind.

Mysigt och vÀlskött boende med fantastisk frukost

Vi sov 2 nÀtter hÀr i oktober 2020. Vi fick ett fint vÀlkomnande vid incheckningen med rekommendationer pÄ restauranger och sevÀrdheter. Lucca Àr en fantastiskt mysig liten stad med ringmur runt och i vissa delar ingen trafik. Boendet hade allt vi önskade; stort rum, pentry, sköna sÀngar och vÀldoftande tvÄl. JÀttebra med parkering innanför den lÄsta grinden. Frukosten var fantastisk. Stort utbud och bra kvalitet av frukter, olika sorters bröd o bakverk, juice, kaffe, Àgg. Det enda pÄ minussidan var att Wi-Fi inte fungerande bra i vÄrt rum. Vi kommer gÀrna tillbaka! Helst under sommaren sÄ poolen kan nyttjas, den var stÀngd nu men ser vÀldigt fin ut.

Huge disappointment

This B&B was really disappointing. When we arrived in our room, there was a huge puddle of water on the floor. We informed the front desk and they brought towels to mop it up, but didn't switch us to a new room. Over night, the air conditioner kept leaking, forming a new puddle of water in the morning. We found out in the morning that this was an ongoing issue they were aware of but hadn't fixed, and they were planning to move their B&B to a new property because of these issues. The furniture was generally run down too. When we went swimming in the pool, the water had a horrible chemical taste that coated our teeth and after ten minutes we had to get out for fear that it was unsafe. The pool chairs were also damaged. Overall, this property is run down and was incredibly disappointing.

Vi bodde hÀr 3 nÀtter och fick ett rum högst upp i huvudbyggnaden. Rummet var inte tilltalande, mörkt och trÄngt med en mycket liten toalett och med mycket smÄ minifönster. Frukosten var spartansk. PoolomrÄdet var OK med en bar som man kunde bestÀlla enklare mat och dryck. Hotellet ligger en bit ifrÄn Lucca - ca 15 min gÄngvÀg vilket var OK. Vi kommer inte bo hÀr igen.
