This charming farmhouse restored in 2012, was formerly a small cloister dating back to 1700. It is located in the middle of an olive tree grove dominating the valley and the city of Lucca, which lies only 11 km from here. The owner is an interior designer, this is why interiors are refurbished with care and attention to details, using original Tuscan furniture and aiming at the perfect ease of the guests. The days in Lucca will be particularly agreeable thanks to its many attractions and points of interest: the sightseeing of the town, its unique city walls, churches, squares, museums etc. For those who love the sea, in 30 minutes you can reach the sea-side resorts of Versilia, Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi - all renowned for their huge golden shores. For mountain lovers, in only 30 minutes you can be in the Garfagnana area and walk through its ancient villages. Take a chance to visit the cities of art and the most characteristic places of Tuscany (Pisa, Firenze, Siena, Cinque Terre) that are near to Lucca and easy to reach. In case some day you do not want to go anywhere, you can enjoy the impressive terrace, which is definitely the peculiarity of this house, offering the possibility to stay outside in complete relax. A magical place surrounded by nature where everything is like it used to be – only a few ancient houses deep in the stillness of the hills and an enchanting atmosphere due to the magnificent view, outstanding during the day and lovely by night.

Massimo’s house is beautifully situated up in the hills of Lucca. The house is clean, well equipped, and absolutely charming. Massimo was an amazing host, making sure we had everything we needed and very helpful with so many great recommendations for spots to visit. We had the most amazing time and would highly recommend staying here! The place is a dream!

Massimo’s villa was absolutely lovely! The views from the property were spectacular. The home is well equipped for all your needs during your stay. Massimo was a fantastic host. He was very responsive and had plenty of suggestions on getting around and where to eat. If you need anything, he will take care of it for you.We had a great time while staying at his property!Lucca is such a cool city. It has all of the charm that you expect in Italy without the big crowds.

This home in Lucca helped to make all our Tuscan Vacation Dreams Come True! The authentic home and beautiful furnishings, the gorgeous view from the home, and the wonderful, personalized care we received from Massimo, made us feel right at home from the minute we arrived. We were able to totally relax in comfort at the house, and were close enough to drive to many of the famous historic Tuscan towns. Massimo was happy to share restaurant recommendations, helpful driving and parking tips, along with anything else we asked of him. His response time to our calls or texts was immediate. He truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was just perfect!

We had a wonderful 4 week stay at this Tuscan house. The host, Massimo, was wonderful! He checked in with us frequently to be sure we were doing fine and had everything we needed. The house was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking our meals. The views of Lucca from the yard were beautiful! Thank you Massimo for a wonderful vacation!

Great Villa...everything you need. Massimo is very informative..helps out as required. Beautiful views..had great evening dinner out on the spacious deck. The road ip is not for the faint hearted..but a great challenge....one or two trips and easy.

Wonderful holiday in luxury home

We had a truly wonderful time in this luxury holiday home. Massimo was very helpful and gave some valuable hints for activities in the area that made our stay special. Also, we liked the terrace with the view over Lucca and the olive plantations.

Wonderful country house

Property is exactly as pictured with a beautiful view of Lucca and the surrounding valley. Communication with Massimo was excellent As he was very attentive to us during our stay. We had a wonderful 3 week experience and can enthusiastically recommend this house.

Great time in Lucca

Our stay in Lucca was wonderfully relaxing. Massimo was a great host. He stopped in several times in the two weeks that we were there. His travel tips and suggestions made our trip the most enjoyable we’ve had. The house was nicely furnished but kept a farmhouse charm. The view from the patio never failed to relax us. Very peaceful. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Just Amazing!

A beautiful house with a stunning view. Close enough to Lucca to visit the city everytime you feel like it but far enough from the city to experiance the rest and peace of the land. The perfect location to visit the area. Ad the best host you could wish for and you are in for the perfect holiday

A Tuscan paradise

Enchanting property set high on a hill overlooking hundreds of olive trees with Lucca in the distance. Comfortable and clean with all the amenities one needs. Massimo is a very responsive and thoughtful owner and excellent guide for local food, history and sites. An opportunity not to be missed!

Beautiful house with beautiful view

Very hospital en friendly owner. Beautiful house (at about a15 minutes climb by car). Nice, well equipped, terrace with a wonderful view. Clean bedrooms with good beds. All bedroom windows have mosquito nets. Clean en nice bathrooms with good showers. Well equipped kitchen. We recommend it.

A beautiful stay in Tuscany

The two of us and our dog spent a wonderful week in Massimo's house, with a change of scenery guaranteed. The house is surrounded by olive trees and is completely immersed in nature without being isolated. Massimo was extremely kind and available, with very good advice for visiting the region. We just had a problem with the hot water and he came the same day to fix the problem. I would recommend without hesitation!
