Eine tolle Woche in Lucca

Der Empfang von unserer Gastgeberin Paolo war sehr herzlich. Sie hat uns alle Aspekte der Ferienwohnung genau erklärt. Auch 2 Ordner mit ausführlicher Erklärung der Wohnung und der Infrastruktur/Sehenswürdigkeiten von Lucca wurden übergeben. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer wenig befahrener und ziemlich enger Einbahnstrasse in der 2. Etage in direkter Nachbarschaft zur Villa Bottini. Zur Wohnung gelangt man über ein Treppenhaus mit Steintreppen. Für Leute mit Mobilitätseinschränkungen kann der Aufgang recht beschwerlich werden, da kein Aufzug vorhanden ist.Die Wohnung ist in einem sehr guten und gepflegten Zustand, die Architektur ist in der traditionellen rustikalen toskanischen Art gehalten. Die 2 Schlafzimmer sind jeweils mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet, im Wohnbereich ist ein drehbarer Ventillatorsäule aufgestellt. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt sind zwischen 5 - 15 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir haben unseren 1 wöchigen Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Sowohl die Wohnung und natürlich die wunderschöne Stadt Lucca können wir wärmstens empfehlen.

Love the Apartment and Lucca

We stayed at the apartment for six weeks and throughly enjoyed it . It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The location was very convenient. It was well equipped for cooking . I would highly recommend it.

Wonderful stay

We had a fantastic time in Lucca, made possible by this lovely property. It was located perfectly in the centre of Lucca and was spotlessly presented. Vinicio and Paola were extremely helpful with everything we needed and the information in the property gave us lots of useful ideas. Would highly recommended this as a place to stay.

Prettier than the photos

We really enjoyed this apartment. It is spotless and well-appointed. I would suggest to the owners that a mattress topper on the beds would be helpful as the one I slept on was very hard! The location is central to the historic area and quiet in the evenings. The building backs on to a park which is beautiful to look upon from the bedrooms. Be aware, that there are several flights of stairs to tackle; not the easiest with luggage 😳

Can’t say enough good things… great stay

Great little property, with all the conveniences. Vinicio and Paola make everything easy from how to get there, places to go in Lucca, to checking out with no fuss. walking distance to everything in Lucca. If you want to stay in, you have everything you need. And plenty of good places really close to eat if you don’t. Train station is only a 15 minute walk away and Florence and Pisa just a few stops away in either direction. If you want to visit Tuscany, relax, eat good food, get some history, can’t think of a better place to go. Paola and Vinicio make it easy to do.

Blissful Lucca Location

Comfortable apartment in a quiet and convenient area of Lucca central. Easy to get everywhere on foot with many great restaurants and sights close by. The hosts were so friendly and helpful but also very patient as our train was cancelled and we arrived later than we expected. Everyone felt at home in the apartment and cooked many meals there and just relaxed after a busy day walking around the city. Highly recommend this place to stay in beautiful Lucca. Grazie Mille!!

Great Apartment In the Heart of Lucca

I had a great experience. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. There is air conditioning in the two bedrooms and they work well. Check-in was timely and well done, Vinicio’s son Leonardo spoke great English and a fast communicator if anything arose. Highly recommend!

Perfect stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lucca. Our accommodations were perfect for the two of us. Our host family met us on arrival, explained all details and were available for any questions. The location of the apartment is excellent close to restaurants and markets. We spent two weeks and were sad to leave. This has been one of our favorite apartments in all our trips to Italy. We highly recommend this rental and the host family were absolutely pleasant to deal with.

soggiornare a lucca durante il comics è stato un piacere, gli Host sono stati gentili e precisi, l'appartamento è molto comodo e con una vista sul giardino di villa bottini, la casa è provvista di tutto, e molto pratica(3 mazzi di chiavi sono una comodità unica) per il carico e lo scarico dei bagagli si può lasciare l'auto proprio davanti, il centro è a 3 minuti a piedi, insomma davvero comoda.

Excellent stay, great hosts

Everything was just perfect. We sojourned there for one month with a very small kid, hence with lots of extra needs. The hosts Vinicio and Paola were excellent in fulfilling all our needs - in a friendly and professional manner. They were probably the best hosts I ever had in any vacation. On top of all of this, the location is perfectly located to visit Lucca while having a comfortable and quiet stay.

Appartement très confortable, bien équipé, bien situé. Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de parking avec le logement. La proximité de la place San Francesco permet d’accéder au centre ville par des trajets moins fréquentés. En période estivale la proximité du cinéma en plein air nous met dans l’ambiance quoique cela soit parfois un peu bruyant, néanmoins vers 11h30/minuit le calme revient.

L’appartamento corrisponde fedelmente alla descrizione dell’annuncio. È in una posizione fortunata rispetto al centro storico: vicinissimo a qualsiasi servizio, ma allo stesso tempo in una zona tranquilla al limite della ZTL. Quindi raggiungibile in auto per lo scarico/carico bagagli e vicinissimo a molteplici soluzioni per il parcheggio anche notturno della vettura. Paola e Vinicio sono due padroni di casa disponibilissimi e gentilissimi. Location ideale per visitare la bellissima Lucca ed altrettanto i dintorni dell’Appennino Tosco-Emiliano.

Exquisite apartment!

Lovely, clean, more than comfortable, and quiet apartment on 2 nd floor in old part of Lucca. A true gem with accessible and very helpful hosts. Easy to walk to all Parts of the walled town and delicious restaurants nearby, and walkable from railway station. Would definitely stay again & linger in this lovely apartment.

A great place

I will start by saying that if we didn't have our young child with us, this would easily be a 5 start rating. Lucca is a beautiful place and this apartment is a perfect place to stay in. Our only issue was that it is next to an outdoor theatre that is loud and goes until 11.30pm. As a result we had issues getting the little one to sleep. If it were just my wife and I this would not have been an issue at all. The check in process was easy and after dropping off our bags there is a secure undercover car park a couple of minutes away. One cool thing to do is ride a bike along the walls and to help out, there is a rental store a couple of minutes walk away from the apartment. I would highly recommend staying here for any visit to Lucca. If we are lucky enough to come back to Lucca, we would definitely stay here again.

Great location and very nice place!

Great location and very nice place! Easy walk to good restaurants and bike rental. Ride bikes on the city wall very close by. A/C worked well in the 2 bedrooms and basic supplies provided. Big rooms. Very nice, helpful hosts. Son knows very good English.
