Luxury / clean and very close to Accuelil St Frai and Domain I like the new balcony bar out back - great for relaxing in a quiet spot away from crowds Sadly I didn't get time to enjoy the new Sauna....next year?
Room great on recently renovated floor and all public areas looking good. Restaurant best in Loudes with buffet breakfast. Lunch and dinner menus that should suit most. Very central and close to the Shrine which makes the local streets very busy.
If arriving by car it is very hard to find this hotel as it is in a busy street with limited stopping outside. The staff at check-in were rude and incompetent. At check-in they initially told us there were no parking spaces available, even though I had reserved one, and sent us off to park in a public car park nearly a mile away, only to be told subsequently when formally checking-in that there was a space! Also at check-in part way through dealing with us the member of staff proceeded to check-in someone else, whose was part of a large group, without giving us our keys or details of breakfast, etc - she was most indignant when we interrupted her to ask for our keys. Our room had also been changed (the number was hand altered over the original room), without explanation even when asked, and when we tried to access the new room the actual keys had not been changed! The room was fairly basic and fittings were tired. The only positive comment I can make is that the hotel is centrally located. I would not recommend as there are other better hotels of this star rating in Lourdes and I will not be back!
We stayed as a group of 6 cyclists so a like out of place amongst the normal tourists staying but where warmly welcomed. The rooms are fairly basis but clean and tidy with a small balcony overlooking the Main Street. The hotel has a bike storage and workshop which was safe and secure. The staff where excellent and friendly and helped our every request. The location for the grotto is a short 5 minute walk away and you are literally in the centre of the town and attractions. Hotel has a very large and secure car park, small bar and dinning / breakfast room. It's a little dated and in places in need of a refurb but I wouldn't let that put you off staying due to its location and staff.
My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in June. The hotel was fantastic, lovely big rooms with great views of the surrounding attractions. When we checked in we were told we were given a suite, I had only booked a standard room so this was a nice surprise. The location is close to many great restaurants and is only as very short walk away from the Grotto. We would definitely stay here again.
I drove into Lourdes and the GPS in the car was not functioning properly. I called the hotel and they were very patient in giving me direction step by step and stayed on the phone to make sure I was fine. There is secured parking on location. Overall very helpful and pleasant service. Even the kitchen staff helped us unload our luggage. The hotel is very close to the sanctuary and we could easily walk back and forth a few times a day. Also nice is to have a spa on location.
We had dinner in this hotel and it was superb. Our waiter (Simone) was wonderful; Great service and great food for a small price. Also the service at reception desk was fantastic. Next time we know were to stay
This hotel is very FRENCH and is easily one of the best hotels in Lourdes. Right opposite the Grotto and has some of the most exquisite furniture and restaurant and bar. The staff are friendly and very helpful. It is very close to the St Bernadette's cottage and has some very trendy shops down the street.
Checked in on 21/6n out on 24/6. Hotel location is fantastic. Walking distance to the grotto n church. The hotel staff at the reception was very helpful and courteous. Kudos to them. Rooms was also up to my expectations. Will for sure stay here on my next trip n recommend to my friends. Tq. Radha Krishnan. Room 314.
This is one of the most beautiful venues in Lourdes, the whole atmosphere brings back to memory the earliest time of the pilgrimage. Amazingly epoch decorated restaurant that makes you feel far in the past. Good service and food. Pricy option for a good food quality. I would say it is a must if one comes to visit Lourdes. Very close to the grotto indeed, very busy and crowded road though.
