The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The area was full of things to do with easy access to a variety of restaurants and bars.

Very nice hotel. free wifi and the club room were great features. I would stay there again and reccomend it to others.

We loved the Brown, so classy and beautiful! Some things did seem a bit dated, but it was clean and spacious, and staff were wonderful! We will certainly be back!

Very nice historic hotel. The English Grill was a superb restaurant.

Execeptional Service. Beautiful decor. Great food and drinks. Best old fashion I have ever had. Try out English Grill. You will not be disappointed.

The hotel shuttle was wonderful and took us to dinner and other places. This hotel is about a mile from the downtown sights.

Terrible comfort. Mattresses are terrible. Do not book here

Everyone was friendly and their club room is an excellent addition. Room was nice and clean and lobby looked fancy.

Nice to see a classic and historical hotel so well-maintained and operated

First day was great! Second day, didn’t receive towel for floor. Four towels taken/ only replace two when asked for four. Ice bucket not cleaned and water remained in it when we returned. Needed new batteries for remote.

Beautiful hotel, great staff and perfect location. Only complaint is that the bed was very uncomfortable.

The hotel was very elegant. We received a complimentary upgrade to a very nice room with windows on two sides of the room. The upgrade included a complimentary breakfast and happy hour wine/beer. The room was spacious with two double beds, a couch, chairs and tables. There was plenty of room to move about in the room. The location was excellent - only several blocks from "Fourth Street - Live", an area of Louisville with lots of restaurants and bars and plenty of nightlife.

Long weekend on the Bourbon Trail. The Hotel is in the best place downtown and very nice hotel staff. Great bar and fast elevators.

Great staff, fun lobby bar, historic rooms and decor. Bed was a bit soft but the Luxury room was large and had a nice layout.

Check-in staff not very friendly. Restaurant expensive. Nice rooms. Good location next to auditorium.

Fast room service, very clean rooms, quiet, great restaurants and food inside the hotel. Very promt valet service.

It was a very good evening I was there for only one night but the family enjoy not just the hotel but also the city.

This beautiful old hotel has been updated to modern day standards but has maintained its amazing charm and architectural beauty. The bar area, complete with pianist, was a highlight for us. Just to sit, listening to the music, gazing at beautiful surroundings, be attended to by the attentive staff, you can easily believe you are back in the 30's, 40's, 50's....... Wonderful experience! We will definitely return. Walking distance to several excellent restaurants and the Kentucky Center.

We were just passing through Louisville on our way to Chicago. Next time we will stay longer! We had friends join us for dinner at the lounge restaurant. (Their favorite!) The staff were cheerful, knowledgable and very service oriented. We will recommend your lovely hotel to our friends.
