"The person who checked us in was friendly and made us feel welcome. The property is older but it's updated and we enjoyed the décor and feel. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The bed and linens were comfortable. Our room had a seating area which was nice when our kids stopped by for the afternoon as we had space to sit and enjoy their company. We really liked the sliding door to the patio area off our room as it was convenient to the pool area. The pool was perfectly heated and all were able to enjoy a good swim. The spa was the same temperature as the pool, so we informed the front desk and the very next day maintenance was fixing the issue. There are three gas fire pits in the courtyard. We spent some time sitting around a fire pit and chatting and had a good evening. We appreciated the ample parking and were able to park right in front of our room, making loading and unloading the car very convenient. The entrance to the property is a little "hidden" but once discovered we didn't have problems getting in and out and it actually made the property feel private. It's conveniently located to all things Buellton. Our room was on the opposite side of the property away from the freeway, and we had peace and quiet the whole time we were there. We had a magnificent time in Buellton and really enjoyed our stay at the Sideways Inn. My husband and I would definitely stay here again."
