Best Western Inn

Good for night stay while returning from Yosemite. Bit noisy because the hotel is located right next to the highway and railway tracks.

As I stayed in a nice Best Western somewhere else in the past, I thought all Best Westerns would be same; like all Holiday Inns are pretty same and all Fairfield Inns are pretty same. I learned by staying in this Best Western is that Best Western is unpredictable. It is not same everywhere. This one particularly looked like a cheap motel when I pulled in my car in its lot. Also, it is located right on highway CA-99 and big trucks run through this highway all night and you can not only hear but also feel those trucks running. On the good side, although their lobby, which is also the breakfast area, is very small; the breakfast was good and the front desk staffs were friendly.

Great friendly staff from the receptionists to the housekeepers but the room looks like when they remodeled to try to update - they hired someone that cut corners and did a Mickey Mouse job. The AC worked but only if you stood in front of it - it was 85 degrees at 10 pm and I couldn't get any cold air being just 7 feet away, really? Person that arranged to put the A/c away from being directly in front of the beds should be fired. Lucky that the receptionist saved the day by letting me borrow a small fan. I would never stay here again.

The A/C took until 4:00AM to cool the room to a point where you could sleep. Would not recommend.

Good for a 2-star hotel. The price was reasonable for Memorial Day Weekend. Both the in-laws and parents felt comfortable.

Good but close to freeway that passing by vehicles make noise.

Hotel is overall good and very clean environment.............

The room was clean. We enjoyed the breakfast provided. The noise from the freeway and the train at 1 a.m. was not appreciated. We would not stay at this hotel again. The staff was professional, but did not always answer the phone when we called.

As this motel was right off Highway 99, we felt it would be a good place for a quick overnight stay. It did turn out to suit our needs quite nicely. We were in town to visit to briefly visit with my husband’s family. It was a stay we had not originally intended on, as we were on our way to another destination farther south. The staff was actually very nice, and did prove to be helpful on more than one occasion. My only recommendations would be for the rooms to have what my husband called, "a tune up": the shower head was loose, one set of lights flickered erratically before actually turning on, and the toilet had a bit of a wobble, too. All of these things were relatively minor, with all things considered, but I did want to make mention of it. Obviously, too, since the motel is in close proximity to the freeway, there is traffic noise to be heard, as well. We went into this stay knowing this might be an issue, but were so tired by night’s end it didn't bother us much. This is just an "FYI” for any light sleepers. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend this motel to others, and we will stay here again in the future if the need arises.

Friendly staff, clean rooms with all the essentials, good breakfast selections. Very noisy with all night traffic in front of the hotel plus a train on the other side of the highway.

The room was hot and took a while to cool. room is appointed ok but probably overpriced.

The parking lot was EXTREMELY SMALL and there were no USEABLE slots left when we arrived. The Manager expected us to park in a slot where we could not even open our doors. Finally he moved what appeared to be one of his 2 personal vehicles in reserved slots and we parked behind him. Then the room was small and the bathroom was even tinier! And the light switches had motion sensors and the one in the bathroom you could not turn off half the time! Not worth the money!

Nice clean, good breakfast and great location for where I was visiting..the staff was very helpful and nice I will be staying there on future trips!
