Topanga Canyon Hippie Creekside Trailer
The Creekside Trailer is your perfect escape. This is a truly "Topangan" guest house that uses hippie inspired creativity that made the 1960’s the magical era that they were.
Part 1950's Pontiac vintage trailer, part "tree house". We’re situated on a seasonal creek making this home a one of a kind getaway experience. Also to note, since this is a converted 1950's trailer, the kitchen and sleeping cabin have ceilings that are a bit shorter in height for people over 6' tall. But fear not, the living room and bathroom have ceilings that people of all heights can enjoy.
The magical space is a climate controlled tiny home which includes a great room with a twin sized day bed that boasts floor to ceiling windows overlooking the seasonal creek , a compact full functioning kitchen with a built in dining area, a cozy sleeping cabin with a full size memory foam bed, and finally a full sized bathroom with plenty of hot water for a shower/tub and a bidet toilet.
Included are two private outdoor spaces for your enjoyment; a covered patio with a love seat with calming sounds of a fountain and a deck off of the great room with a bistro table and lounger perfect for open air dining above and alongside the creek. Sorry, we do not offer a TV so unplug from urban life and enjoy a glass of wine and an al fresco dinner listening to vintage records from local Topanga artists (or your own music) on the Bluetooth enabled turntable. We also have a guitar (that we tune occasionally) that is your to play plus many classic wood board games to enjoy while hearing the owls, frogs and other critters.
The Creekside Trailer is centrally located to the heart of Topanga with dining local favorites like The Inn of the Seventh Ray and Canyon Bistro just a quick walk away.
We’re also steps away from the Topanga State Park trailheads making your getaway activities such as hiking or mountain biking so much easier since you can leave your car parked next to the house and enjoy all that Topanga Canyon has to offer.
Finally to note, While Topanga Canyon Blvd is completely open, there are fire related road repairs happening with single lane traffic control on both directions which at times may cause some delays.
The cabin is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can expect to find free WiFi. The bathroom offers hair dryers and bidets. Other standard amenities include a coffee maker and an ironing board.

The Creekside Trailer was so cozy, clean, and cool, we didn't want to leave! Host, Lisa, was quick to respond to messages and gave us lots of ideas on things to do and places to go. We had a peaceful, rejuvenating stay with everything (and more!) that we needed. BEST Vrbo ever!!

Everything is very clean and comfortable. Full bathroom, and a full kitchen, even a living room with floor to ceiling windows looking out at nature.and a great full deck. Also cabin is well stocked with many things that you might need for your stay. Many other places in Topanga in that price range don't have half the amenities.Lisa and Mike are great hosts, Just ask for anything.

I took my mom here for a mini getaway as she’s going through chemo, and it was exactly what we needed. The owner was incredibly understanding and accommodating when we had to adjust our booking due to my mom’s symptoms, which made the trip completely stress-free.This camper home is a dream - a true Topanga treehouse vibe surrounded by nature. The moment we arrived, we felt calm and grounded. The views are breathtaking, and the space perfectly captures the magic and history of Topanga. We loved relaxing with the vinyl collection of classic Topanga artists - it made the experience feel nostalgic and special. It was such a wonderful, healing time for both of us. We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay. A must-visit gem! Highly recommend!
Loved this place! My daughter had rehearsals at Will Geer Theatricum Botanical for a few days. It was less than five minute drive to theater. Cute coffee shops nearby. Great pizza place less than quarter mile away. I was able to relax under oak trees on porch or inside. (Wear mosquito repellent) Drive to Malibu had delays due to road construction. Very enjoyable!

Fabulous Getaway!
Our trip was perfect! Lisa and Michael are the ultimate hosts. It was so fabulous to be able to escape the hustle & bustle and enjoy the quiet serenity of this adorable trailer! We loved walking the trails and spending time visiting the shops and restaurants in Topanga. The drive to/from the beaches is stunning. Lisa took care of so many thoughtful details that enhanced our stay. We will definitely be back!

Magical getaway
This was such a wonderful and thoughtfully curated space! You can tell how intentional the hosts are about making sure the property is reflective of the culture and history of Topanga Canyon, which is so artsy and charming. The wraparound view of gorgeous trees from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room was my favorite - it felt like a breathtaking little imax screen featuring a 24/7 nature scene just for us! Even though the space is built out from a camper trailer, it never felt too small for the two of us; we never felt cramped or in need of anything extra. Lisa really provided everything you could possibly think of to make the space feel like a real home away from home. We were able to work, rest, cook, meditate, exercise, create, and simply enjoy nature and each other's company in the quiet and serene canyon. The little town was just minutes away, so it was very simple and quick to run down to the general store, grab takeout, and poke around the cute little shops. Thanks for a great stay! We will definitely be back!
