clean, nice people and convenient for business. Only complaint is parking fee seems high, because the old "Beverly Garland" hotel gave benefits, like free parking, to those who stayed at the hotel often.

Great Pool with 2 hot tubs and a bar poolside. Prefect Cali vibe

Beautiful time Great food nice exercising relaxing time

Most amazing hotel stay! Received an upgraded room

We chose this hotel based on great reviews and proximity to Universal Studios. Pros: The hotel is charming and the public areas are nice, all of the staff are friendly and helpful, free convenient shuttle to Universal Studios. However, cons far outweigh the pros.. The rooms are old and musty and quite subpar. Our room's walls were paper thin. We heard people talking down the halls, doors slamming, the elevator, the ice machine. This noise went on all night. The bathroom was recently remodeled, but the room itself dark and dank. Our room had an old A/C unit that was not functioning properly, and sounded like a jet engine whenever it came on and also emitted worrisome smoke smells. Our $90 breakfast buffet for 2 adults, 2 kids, was also not worth the steep price as it was very much on par with the free breakfasts given at other places. Parking spaces were very tight and several of the spaces were fenced up to serve as storage for some of the hotel's junk, also a rug was being left to dry outside as well. It made us feel like we were at a motel, not a 4 star hotel as it was rated by orbitz.

very friendly staff and great accommodation. Feel that the parking fees are a bit stiff as well as the on prem restaurants are rather pricey and little variety... Other than that, it is a great location and the staff is amazon like customer friendly

Great common areas to relax and hang out. We only stayed one night and didn't get to take advantage of all the activities and services offered. Only drawback is $25/night for uncovered self parking.

My family and I stayed 5 days at this hotel and enjoyed every bit of it. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to check into our room an hour early. The room was clean and spacious for my family of 4. The room was straightened up and stocked daily. The grounds were constantly being cleaned and maintained. The pool area was great and there were always fresh towels being put out. My family and I enjoyed the Family Evening by the pool swimming and watching a movie on the projection screen! The bar area was nice and there was a decent selection of craft beers and mixed drinks. My 2 young girls and I took advantage of the local early morning walk/tour to view the Brady Bunch house and the LA River. There were 3 staff members that joined and led the group. They were very kind and took time to speak to all of us. The trolley from the hotel to Universal Studios ran every hour and was only a 5 min ride. The hotel is within walking distance to drug stores, Starbucks and local restaurants. The area was safe and clean. I did witness the staff having to escort homeless people off the property but it was done in a gentle manner. We dined at the restaurant on the property and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Reservations were easy to make and we were seated immediately. I can't say enough nice things about this renovated, clean, family/kid friendly hotel! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We loved the Hollywood vibe and decor of this hotel. And the location could not be better! Wish we had more time to spend enjoying the hotel and the events/amenities they offered. We will definitely stay here for any future trips to LA.

Nice hotel, good location, the shuttle was perfect

Staff was great, super friendly, room was clean but a bit loud since it's facing the freeway. Walls are thin, can hear neighbor's tv. Would recommend to friend, value was good.

It is a nice hotel to stay in. They have many activities on a everyday basis. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Awesome place to stay very clean and nice staff, my only negative is we were on the first floor which meant we were slightly underground so we didn’t have a great view but no biggie still a great hotel would definitely stay again!

Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable rooms. The complimentary shuttle to and from Universal Studios was so convenient! The staff was always friendly, whether it was the front desk, the shuttle driver, the valet drivers, etc. Everyone treated us very well! I would definitely stay here again.

Great atmosphere, staff, facility. Will revisit when in LA.

Great staff, helpful and polite. Nice rooms. Overall great

We stayed in the Eldorado building. The grounds are meticulously cared for...lush and green. At night they have lights on the trees and over the inner patio. We could see this from our room too. Really added to the experience. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a safe, relaxing place to stay while in L.A. The only downside was the $27/day parking fee but I guess that's pretty common in that area.

Super friendly staff, plenty of parking, and they found my daughter's stuffed animal she left behind and kept it safe! Cute trolley that takes you to universal as well.

Excellent stay! The hotel has great transportation options and a highly equipped gym! The pool looked amazing although the weather did not cooperate during our stay. We would highly recommend this hotel!

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay. We are saddened we did not meet your expectations and our hotel decor and design was not to your preference. The hotel fully renovated in the past four years. As we continue to expand our pool desk and meeting space, it has displaced some wonderful fountains we plan on relocating once the area is complete. We appreciate your business and feedback. We are sorry you did not feel very comfortable and welcomed.
