property was great, but I didn't like the parking fee.

Look forward to my delayed visit in April. Trip extended due to virus b

The hallway had a bit of a bad smell. But other than that it is was a pleasant experience. Also the parking should be free for customers.

Great place. Very big rooms and very clean. Centrally locsted. 15 min ride to DTLA. Only complaint no parking and $25 per day fee was a little expensive.

Each day I left my room available for housekeeping to come in and do their thing. Each day they would forget something. The first day I used the coffee that was in my room and it was never replaced. They also only replaced one of my towels. On day two I was out of washcloths, they were not replaced during housekeeping service and again the coffee was still left empty. On my third day I was down to half a roll of toilet paper and no shampoo. They need to step up their housekeeping game significantly.

Good condition. The room is clean and well maintained. The only bad thing is the deposit but ofcourse if you leave it the same way you got it, they'll return it.

The Gentleman who checked us in was warm and welcoming.

The room was clean, the check in was seamless, and they were able to hold my luggage on the day of check out so I didn’t have to cart it around on my last day in LA. Every morning at around 7, there was a tray of baked goods (muffins, doughnuts, cupcakes) from a local bakery. It’s convenient Uber ride away from the convention center. I paid no more than $20 to Uber anywhere in LA, which is pretty impressive given how spread out LA is.

I agonized for weeks on picking a hotel for a weekend getaway and stumbled upon Shelter Hotel because of the reviews. Of course, there were negative and positive reviews, but I would share my experience was positive. Good Location close to metro and other public transport, clean hotel, my room was pleasantly a nice size, and the staff was very friendly.

As a young, female traveler heading to LA on business, it was important that I stayed somewhere that was comfortable, convenient, and affordable—the Shelter Hotel was all of that. Rooms were spacious, clean, and modern, the Wi-Fi was efficient, and the hotel was very local to everything particularly L.A. Live. I felt very safe in this area even when I'd arrive late at night. I can honestly say the only issue I had was that my television was missing certain channels, but I was hardly there so it didn't really bother me. Great bargain for your buck; I will be back!

The location is good in K town. The room is big and clean. Very nice hotel!

Hotel was just a 15 drive to LA convention center without having to play higher prices of downtown!

Rooms, were neat, clean and comfortable. Walls are a bit this and occasionally you can hear others but all in all an excellent value in a good location.

the hotel design is adorable, the staff was great. will definitely come again.

The hotel was a very nice place to stay. My wife and I enjoyed the staff and cleanliness plus the comfort of our room. We booked the room online which was a great price. We really liked how so many places are within walking distance to have dinner within the area. The decor was a plus and everything in our room worked with no problems. The bed was comfortable and the Direct TV was really pleasing. Even though the weather was raining and a little cold outside we were not able to take full advantage of the pool area, but we did notice they had an indoor lounge to hang out in with a ping pong table to play which was really awesome.

Always stay there, good and safe parking, unfortunately they charge.

meh. its an old apt building they slapped some paint on. Staff was great but place was a bust. THIN WALLS!

It's in Koreatown, so there's good food everywhere and in walking distance. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Big screen TV. I didn't see if they had a gym. Would stay again. Close to Convention Center without having to get on highway, which is a win for me when in LA.

Cool hotel but needs some upgrades. Travel to LA downtown for business, I stay here because of the convenience. But management changed, not sure for good or bad, they are charging for parking now and no upgrades made to facilities to make that worth it.
