Staff at front desk is not as FRIENDLY at all and need to be trained well. If I had questions I hesitated to even ask because of their “long faces”. I’ve worked in customer service and I know that’s not the way people should feel.The man at the bar has a great attitude, breakfast is great as well as the people in charge, great job to them. Rooms are not been cleaned up as before, found hair in the tub, carpets look kinda old and dirty.

Great self-clean Hotel for urine covered bathrooms
Hotel is nicely designed, in a nice safe location. It has the feel of a motel inside another building. You enter the rooms from an open hallway concept that overlooks an atrium. This feature is actually very nice and aesthetically pleasing. However, the rooms and furniture are dated and feel like a 1960's motel. They have painted textured concrete walls, low lighting and limited windows for natural light. My girlfriend also noted that they lacked basic things in the room such as makeup mirrors. The iron left stains all over the shirt I tried to iron. with it. The bathroom was disgusting, it was not cleaned from prior guests. There was urine all over toilet, toilet seat, and floor. Not a little but a lot. I am talking actual urine not just drip stains. It had actual standing liquid yellow urine, clearly visible on the white porcelain, the second you enter the restroom. Housekeeping came to the room dropped off cleaning supplies and advised us they were done cleaning for the day, and that we had to clean it ourselves or wait until the next day. Management didn't charge us for the first night, but I don't feel that is sufficient for us having to clean someone else's urine. I will never stay here again, and this experience is making me rethink ever staying at an Embassy Suites. This has severely tarnished the Hilton brand in my opinion. It's one thing to have the disgusting room, but to actually leave cleaning supplies and say clean it yourself..... WOW!!!!

Really bad experience, the A/C never worked. We called the reception and nobody show up to fixed, didn’t change us room. My husband and daughter have asma, the carpet was completely smelly as the shower curtain and I don’t even want to talk about the sofas. Please read the reviews before you book and don’t even get fooled by the breakfast it’s not even worth it !!!

If you require a cool room to sleep at night, please do not stay at this Embassy suites. The facility was built in the 80s and when evening comes, the air conditioning goes off and you can only get heat. It was probably 80° in our room and the only way we could cool off was to open an unscreened window and open the door to the hallway, so that the breeze could blow through. The girl at the desk claimed there were no mosquitoes in the area when we told her we couldn’t leave the window open. That was untrue as LA was experiencing mosquito swarms from the spring rains. Also, there was no security if the window was left open. We left a day early, after tossing and turning all night. On the plus side, they reinstated their wonderful breakfast with fresh made to order omelettes., And their manager was very responsive to our issue the next morning and allowed us to check out without penalty. Expedia was fantastic in helping us resolve this. We spoke to Otto, who contacted the manager and worked out our refund for the second night when we checked out. I would definitely use Expedia again, because their customers service is wonderful.

We picked this hotel because of the indoor pool which my kids loved. However, when we go there an hour and a half past check in they told me my room was changed due to plumbing issues. We got a king suite when there were 4 of us. The couch did pull out but the mattress was awful. You could feel the springs. Because the room wasnt ready for us they did give us a late check out which was great. The free breakfast was decent. The other issue was the AC in the room definitely did not work well.
