Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Los Angeles Westside

Nice for a stay near airport. Much better quality than the hotels on Century Blvd.

Not a good experience, duty room and noise everywhere i couldn't sleep

Friendly staff, comfortable room, pleasant atmosphere.

Great location, welcoming, very clean. The $20 daily parking should be mentioned before checking in, however.

My husband & I returned to this hotel because our first visit was so pleasant. This time, we stayed for 1 week while visiting our daughters in Los Angeles. Each evening, it was comforting to come back to a very clean, comfortable room. The bed was super comfortable, & the pillows are the best! Our room was very quiet, despite traffic outside, & parking on premises was convenient. Because we are not used to the dry climate, we kept water cold in the refrigerator. It would have been nice to have a microwave, however. It was easy to find our way around town from the Doubletree, especially going the gorgeous Mall 1 block away. We are now enrolled in HH Honors program & will return in a few months! Of course, we loved their cookies!!

It's very good for traveler stay. Nice Hotel ! Feel comfortable and Hotel and room smell so good !

I'm a frequent guest and as usual this is hotel stay was great. Especially Carmen at front and Riberto outside. Like old friends. Amazingly consistent.

I went into it expecting more, being a Doubletree Hilton, both of which I have stayed at before. There was nothing wrong with this hotel, but it wasn't quite at the level I expected. The rooms were adequate. This hotel has taken their environmental responsibilities too far, the sink water is at barely a dribble, which causes you to use the water longer. The shower also is a reduced flow head. The workout room is nice and is equipped with ear buds, towels, water and fruit. Getting to this hotel can be tricky, needed to make a u-turn when coming from the freeway. The neighborhood near the hotel seems a little unsafe for walking.

I chose this hotel because of (1) availability and (2) close proximity to LAX rental car return for easy getaway. Room was spacious and great, way more than I expected for the price in LA. A problem with the cold water tap in the bathroom sink was repaired while I was out on my Saturday adventures. Housekeeping and cleanliness were excellent. Once you learn the roads, access to restaurants down Sepulveda Blvd = Hwy 1 and beach areas was easy and fast. Overnight parking is safe but costs $20/night but I was not unhappy because the room was so much more than expected.

Hotel was nice on the outside, rooms were old and dingy, although there seemed to be newer furniture in the rooms it still had a motel feel, doors and hallways make it seem like a motel 6

It's clean, well run and the breakfast was very nice.

The hotel was exactly as advertised - excellent place to stay, great location - close to Santa Monica and Venice. Culver City also has many good restaurants but we did not try any since we spent our time in other parts of the city.

The hotel was not bad it just wasn't anything special. It was clean and near where we needed to be. Staff was pleasant and efficient. The only thing that didn't sit well was that the buffet breakfast was $40 a person. There were scrambled eggs, ssusage, bscon, toasts, fruit, and an omelet station. Absolutely as vanilla of as you can get as far as breakfast buffets go. In comparison several other chains offer a much better selection and for free or for a fraction of the cost that this one was. I think in the future I would pay s little more and stay closer into town and possible at a little more updated hotel but this one is not being ruled out for a return

Convenient to the airport ($20 taxi). I was a little disappointed by the room, did not think it met DoubleTree standards. When I took a shower in the morning, the drain was plugged. The front desk clerk was very apologetic and provided a meal credit. A little more attention to detail in room prep would have made this stay very pleasant. I would be willing to try it again in the future.

Great hotel. Helpful staff. Nice overall experience.

Room is clean, the check in cookies are warm and good. The price is a little expensive and parking fee is high.

Great location, great staff, great everything, overall great experience.

First of the complimentary cookie got them instantly on my good side. Clean room and friendly staff at a great rate. Short walk to shopping mall and plenty of dining choices.

I like this hotel because its close to my house. The only down side is that they charge for parking, and my car had to stay in across the street
