From the moment my daughter and I checked in to the Strand Palace Hotel the experience was totally perfect. A class staff Michael and Gigi on Hotel check in were absolutely divine, nothing was too much, very warm and welcoming. I would like to thank all the staff from the Hotel who made our stay so lovely and we truly felt special! Our room was perfectly clean and inviting having all the comforts one needs for a very good nights sleep, restaurant staff where super polite and accommodated us at short notice brilliant service! big shout out to the amazing Porter and staff for going every extra mile for us! we shall be back!

Room was next to a laundry facility that was being used until 23:00hrs!! Attempted to call reception could not get through! Coffee machine leaked. Shower fell holder not fixed properly. Fixed it! Breakfast excellent. Customer service by staff very good.

I arrived close to 11pm and there was a kiosk for a self service check in, where I had to scan my passport/create my own room key, which didn’t feel very welcoming after a long flight from the US. My double bed room was very tight just for one person, and I can’t imagine how a couple would share it. The elevator situation was the absolute worst, trying to go downstairs in the a.m. the elevator would pass up our floor (I was on 5) and go to the top, collecting passengers before coming back down, where the car would then be full. The pros of this stay were that it was in a good location, and was decorated nicely for Christmas time. The door man was also lovely and went out of his way to escort me and my bags across the street.
