The location is good. The room is very small. The closet is small. The lighting in the bathroom is very poor. No ventelation in the bathroom - every shower activates the fire alarm. After every shower the floor is flooded because of the bad sealing.

The hotel is conveniently located, close to Charing Cross and Embankment station. Many restaurants ranging from fast food places to Simpson's on the Strand are within walking distance. Trafalgar Square is also nearby. The buffet-style breakfast was ample and of good quality. The single room is clean and adequate. The cleaning staff are friendly and efficient. I would stay at the Strand Palace again.

Great location but a lot of noise in the surrounding area

Good location Terrible service and dirty building Lifts were impossible had to use the stairs often

The room was never warm enough to be completely comfortable. Otherwise great!

I've stayed at the Strand Palace many times. It offers perhaps the best value in town: reasonable price, good service and a central location for shopping, theatre and cultural institutions. A special shout out for a new doorman, Aaron, who is both helpful and knowledgeable. FYI, I use The Strand both for fun and for business.

Great central location. A little loud, but the staff are great and I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms, which was beautiful! I would stay here again.

We loved the location of the hotel, its proximity to interesting places. The hotel's staff were most helpful, ready to assist in an instant. I would definitely stay there again, and recommend it to others.

Room was small, but decent. Hotel staff are heard to get a hold of. We called so many times asking for extra towels and extra glasses. Literally took days to get those extra towels.

Good location, but the room was small and the bathroom had issues. Mold in the shower grout, uneven and loose floor tiles in bathroom, old fixtures and appliances. Not a bad hotel, but needs updating. I would stay

The hotel is very well situated, close to everything I need. The staff is very friendly. My room was small, but comfortable.

An excellent and helpful staff! My go to hotel for London! Excellent location as well!

Had a slight issue at check-in but the staff took control and resolved it. The staff is amazing and when there was an issue with the air conditioner they did all they could to make things right. In the end it was resolved at check-out. I hope to stay there again on my next visit. L

No actual window in the room. No AC, but didn’t need one. The room was comfortable and clean. Basic space but location was great for the price.

This was out first every international trip. The hotel and its staff was amazing. Ema helped us check in and advised us that our room didn't have AC but was able to get us into a room with AC in 2 days. Both rooms were wonderful. The upgraded rooms are comfortable and stylish. The layout of our particular room, with the TV, was a little weird but insignificant compared to how much we enjoyed our time there. Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The room service was amazing. The location was perfect! Within walking distance to basically everything, right in front of the Covent Gardens. We will always come back to this hotel!

The hotel is very nice and at first glance our room was wonderful, however we had some issues I would not expect from such a nice hotel. The biggest was that the shower didn't drain, taking a shower in standing water in a hotel bathtub felt pretty gross. When we arrived we opened the windows and plugged in the rotating fan. This was great to cool the room down until we couldn't get one of the windows to close in the bathroom, making my early shower very chilly. Lastly the shower curtain was too small and water made the nice tile floor very slippery. In summary I expected an issue free experience from a hotel of this level and did not receive it.

We had two rooms both on the 7th floor which were the newly remodeled. Our first room was so tiny it felt like we were sleeping in a closet and the air conditioning leaked and soaked the carpet so we were given another room the following night. Our second room consistently smelled like food which was horrible. You would wake up to the smell or breakfast and at night it smelled like the food vents from McDonald’s.. absolutely horrible. Would not recommend ...
