The Park Grand London Paddington

Recent guest reviews

It was a very small room, which is fine if you don't plan on spending much time there. It was actually hard to find room to open up our suitcases. The bathroom was clean and nice. We did like that there was an interior door and exterior door to the room, so it was very quiet. You could not hear any noise from other guests in the hallway. The hotel was within walking of Paddington station and Bakerloo underground, so very close to be able to get to lots of locations easily. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice and clean rooms. Pleasant staff. Bathroom is the size of a broom closet. Bring your own toilet paper because theirs is single ply sand paper. Also bring your own washcloths as they only provide towels and if you are like me, there are probably a couple areas you would prefer not to wash with your bare hand. At times there is no hot water, so plan to shower at a time when everyone else in the hotel isn't. Free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is extra, choose between English or continental. Off the beaten path so it is good for sleeping. Convenient to a small market across the street and to local pubs. 10 minute walk to Paddington Station.

Room was very nice modern but small compared to American standard hotel but great for one person Location was great in nice neighborhood and just using it to sleep made the hotel/ room fine for seeing London

Room was nice, clean and big. Food service is resturant was little shaken, not extremely organized.

Jr. Suite was roomy and comfortable for 3 or more people. Added bonus to have ironing board, frig, microwave, safe and cell phone to use for internet and calls. Breakfast was good, hot and cold choices. Close to Paddington station with grocery stores and pubs. The only problem was the shower drain was stopped up and flooded the bathroom, after informing the front desk for 2 days it still wasn't repaired.

Staffs are nice & stick to their rules the rooms are also very comfortable & cozy, location is excellent because u have everything you need in a walking distance

The hotel had a nice location and also the Rooms where very little I didn't like it,I think more staffs are needed in tbe building to provide quality service for customers that's all

I wonder if it was just this room - I got in late, just needed a place to crash before getting up to go to Paddington for the Heathrow Express the next morning. The room I had was in the basement, with masking on the windows, so no view. The lighting was a choice between interrogation brightness and too-dim-to-see. There were circular stains and scratches from glasses on the woodwork. It was a cold night, and there was a major draft, so I cranked the heat and went to sleep. Woke up in the middle of the night freezing, doubled up on blankets and made the best of it. I didn't want to deal with switching rooms when my hours there to sleep were already precious few. Staff were friendly enough, but this room really sucked. Have heard good things about this place so it might just have been luck of the draw, but I won't go back a second time to find out.

The hotel was ok. Staff really friendly and helpful. Theres not much around it apart from Paddington Station. The sink and shower pipes were blocked.

Very small room. No minibar in the room. Nice staff. Nice location. I try to upgrade to club room, but it's not possible. Can not do it by myself, because I use a site o r b i t z to booking.

the hotel is in a fantastic location, 3 min walk from paddington station, rooms are big and well furnished, unfortunately I was in the basement with no windows that ruined a bit the experience, it was like being on a boat without a chance to see the light of the day or the weather... apart from this everything else was ok and around 100€ per night was a good London price MY ADVISE, ASK NO BASEMENT ROOM

Our room was just too small. There are lots of good things about this hotel. It's close to the train/tube station, in a nice neighborhood, and the room was clean. Someone has clearly tried to make the room trendy, but more attention to functionality would have been welcome considering the shoe box we were wedged into. There was no proper closet, no real space to set a suitcase, and the bathroom was the size of a large shower stall. Bottom line, the room was too small.

The hotel is situated in a very central location of London and worth the money. I stayed for the weekend and it was perfect for what I was looking for... some rooms could be bigger especially the showers. Would visit again should opportunity arise... enjoy your stay

The rooms are quite small but clean and has most of the amenities that one would expect. The location is great.

double bed was two twin beds pushed together.
