We returned to The Berkeley for our fifth wedding anniversary and received a very warm welcome. The hotel has been recently refurbished to a very high standard and we had an amazing room on the quiet side of the hotel with enormous terrace. Our visit brought back very fond memories of our wedding at the Berkeley in 2012. We had relaxing massages at the spa and then sipped champagne next to the pool on 7th floor with fabulous views over Hyde Park and Knightsbridge. As expected the tasting dinner at Marcus was delicious - the flavour combinations are unique. Our favourites were the cheese/truffle dish and the lamb. The weekend was a real treat and the hotel made us feel very special - thank you.
Stunningly beautiful food in glamorous surroundings. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were very attentive and offered little extras of food that people were enjoying most. The sandwiches were varied and unusual; the cakes were works of art. I loved it.
This was my first stay at the Berkeley and I was left very, very impressed (I had used my previous hotel for ~25 nights per year for the last 3-4 years). The level and quality of service was superb, the meetings rooms are outstanding, and the hotel is perfectly situated for the journey to London Heathrow. The Berkeley will be my choice of residence in London going forward as it is the perfect choice for business travelers and is very convenient for Knightsbridge/Belgravia/Mayfair.
I booked 2 afternoon teas with the fashionista theme but gluten free. I had an email to say that some of the cakes and biscuits might be slightly different to the normal wheat ones due to the gluten free but would try as much as possible to have the same. I was very impressed as really there wasn't much difference in appearance of the beautifully decorated biscuits or cakes and the sandwiches were amazing just on gluten free bread. Service was first class and the room was beautiful decorated in a modern theme. Something really special and I'd highly recommend it especially if you are gluten free.
The New Berkeley has been beautifully renovated. We had two rooms : A balcony suite on the first floor and a delux room on the fourth floor. The first floor suite was amazing. Everything is very contemporary and packed with technology. The fourth floor hasn't been renovated yet so looks very tired. The adjoining koffmans restaurant has closed down and is now a gym. They have replaced that restaurant with a new concept called the Collins. It's really not very good food and lacks atmosphere. Koffmans on the other hand was legendary. Amazing food has been replaced by bang average and extremely expensive food.
The Berkely in the heart of NightsBridge, yoy start with a Welcoming Doorman. Luxury rooms, great stylish cuisine, tres chic cooktail Bar, Fast laundry services, excellent facilities. Highly recommended.
Was booked by our boys to go for a meal at the Marcus Wareing restaurant in the Berkeley hotel for our birthday. Hotel is fabulously decorated. Into the restaurant the service from the moment we walked in there was always someone around to help in any way. Had the three course meal. Great food, great service. Well presented. Don't expect a huge amount on your plate but all tasted amazing. Fabulous selection of cheeses. An enormous selections of wines to cater for all. Isn't cheap but a good experience. A little birthday treat given to myself and hubby at the end with our coffee and tea. As a 2 Michelin star restaurant, everything was amazing. Thank you
Very good service friendly staff at the Collins room morning and evening time I really recommend to visit they made you feel at home with their kindness and friendly service specially mr Thomas the manger
Great afternoon tea with a fashion theme. Service excellent. A refreshingly different approach with scones replaced with a selection of savoury treats. Highlight the amazing cakes and biscuits. Recommended.
My husband and I spent just one night here at and we absolutely wish we could have stayed longer. We were attending an event which was being held at the hotel but it just so happened that it was our anniversary weekend as well. Our arrival was efficient and we were swiftly escorted to our beautiful room. The hotel had recognized our anniversary and provided wonderful personalized amenities for us to enjoy. It seems that you have everything that you need from a hotel room and more. The Dyson hair dryer is wonderful!! The event was exquisite. The newly redesigned ballroom is stunning and the florist team did an excellent job of dressing the room. Each member of staff was polite, attentive and the service they provided was seamless. Additionally, the Executive Chef and his culinary team require additional praise as they managed to create a wonderful menu which was cooked and served to perfection. After the event we enjoyed cocktails with a group of friends in the Blue Bar. The service again was superb and the cocktails were faultless. I can certainly tell why this is a popular bar to be enjoyed not just by residents. Thank you to everyone
