This was the best location in the city. It is right ibside Leichster square, and the view into the park was fantastic. Walking distance to everything. Great staff

After staying seven nights at the Radisson I would have to say it was well worth the money. The location is the best of all because it is close to everything. I didn't realize how much walking was involved with a London trip but I found out! The staff was helpful and the room to me seemed small but in London I guess it would be considered roomy. The room was clean, the bed was beyond comfortable and the shower was nice. Actually had hot water unlike some places I have stayed. I have no real complaints about the hotel and besides with all the things to see and do in London why stay in a hotel room that much anyway.

I have never found a more professional or attentive staff anywhere.

Travel to London often -- my first time at this hotel (although I often stayed at their sister hotel which is under renovation. Have often had tea here, but pleasantly surprised at the quality of their cuisine.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days. It is quite close to the Underground and many great activities. The rooms were nice and the staff were very helpful.

I stayed a total of 6 nights, the location couldn't be any more central. So easy to get to the tube and travel all around London. The staff are so helpful with everything from arranging taxi to helping check into flights to making sure we are comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful and overall I couldn't be happier with the hotel.

My experience has only been positive. The hotel is not corporate feeling, it feels very personal and the staff is so helpful, friendly and take the time to walk you through everything. If you need anything they come right to your service. The WIFI I must say has a great connection, which is important for people traveling like myself that do not have a plan in the UK. I overall would recommend to everyone, it is also in the heart of town and sooo accessible to the tube ( underground transportation) and makes traveling around the city a breeze! I recommend all to stay at the Hampshire, you will be sure to have a lovely stay!

Location and room were exemplary and the staff was even better! Alex the concierge deserves special accolades.

Good location for entertainment . Close to restorants and cinemas.

Very nice hotel in an excellent location. Can be a tad noisy weekend nights from activity in the square, but hard to beat the location and value. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Not a hotel to hang out at, but with London at your doorstep doesn't matter. The hotel is great, but no reason to stay when Leicester Sq, theaters, museums, and sights are within a mile. Would stay there again without question.

Close to everything - literally on the backside of Trafalgar Square, National Gallery, and the National Portrait Gallery and just steps from four different tube stations. 5 minute walk to Soho, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Gardens, and the Eye. The staff was falling over themselves to meet every need - I've never experienced better service. The room was modest in size but nicely appointed - the bathroom was fancy and updated.

I gave this hotel three stars based on my first night; once I was upgraded to a junior suite, things got much better. But the first night my so-called deluxe room was small, had an incredibly creaky floor, and generally seemed years out of date. (The ancient hair dryer in the desk is apparently standard, but the upgraded room at least had a bigger one than the joke in the initial room.) The staff called to see if everything was OK, and responded to my complaints about the room by saying the hotel was fully booked. On a Thursday in the theatre district of West End? Maybe. The staff initially did not know whether I got a free movie with the deluxe room (the website said yes, but they said, No, maybe, yes), and told me it was impossible to restart the movie without paying again (for the free movie, the first 20 minutes of which I'd missed because I had to figure out how to fix the loose cable on the TV -- the staff kept wanting to send someone to fix the TV I'd already fixed, instead of restarting the movie, which apparently can't be easily done). I had called to let the front desk know that I had arranged for their "In-room spa" and a massage therapist would arrive at 6pm. The therapist arrived early, but for some reason no one on the staff could explain, the massage table took 20 minutes to arrive (meaning she might have to be late for her next appointment or cut my treatment short). Oh, and the heat did not work properly; they did bring me a portable heater but by this point I was seriously regretting my decision to stay here especially at the price. They offered to move me to a new room but not until the next day. Initially I was reluctant to have to re-pack and unpack again, but I was so fed up that I did so. They upgraded me to a junior suite. If you can guarantee a junior suite (which I'm sure costs a small fortune since the deluxe room I'd booked was expensive), this is the place to stay. Even overlooking the construction on leicester square and a nightclub, the room was surprisingly quiet. Junior suite with king bed and sofa was, of course, larger and better equipped (except for that absurd hairdryer-in-a-drawer). Bathroom had bath and shower (shower didn't drain properly but was usable and in comparison to prior room, the bathroom was huge). If you're in London for theatre, this is the perfect location, but the rooms apparently at least some of the deluxe rooms could not be farther from deluxe. I wouldn't recommend to a friend because my friends would not get a junior suite and I wouldn't want them to take a chance on the deluxe (or regular) room.

The breakfast bar was not very good and too pricey. The street noise was very loud and interruped sleep.

Great location in the heart of London. Staff at hotel were extremely helpful and accommodating. Easy access to various modes of transportation to view the tourist sights.

it was a great location and the hotel staff was most accommodating..we had a great time ... could walk almost anywhere

Things you should know before booking this hotel. 1. Rooms will be filthy. 2. Rooms will have alot of cosmetic damage. 3. Even though your checkin time is at 2pm prepare to receive your room key at 5pm. 4. The bathroom was dirty and also was "POURING" water from the ceiling. 5. Management was full excuses as to why the bathroom was raining with water as if it were a monsoon. 6.They will argue with you about giving you a smaller room and not giving you breakfast.Even though you paid for a bigger room and breakfast.

Great old hotel in heart of theater district redone to 21 Century First Class.

The hotel was right in the heart of the London theatre district. Very close to restaurants, shopping and theatre. The room was big, beautifully decorated, the bathroom was large, windows overlooked Leciester Square but we heard no noise at night. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Taxis were easy to procure, but with the location, we could easily walk anywhere we wanted to go.
