Stayed here one night as part of a show and hotel package. Room was very clean staff on reception were great, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just ok, the staff on the morning not as attentive as reception staff.
We had an overnight stay. We were on the 5th floor and the rooms were clean and refurbished. The rooms were really small and cramped. It was a hot day so we had the window opened.Around 7 in the morning i could hear a rattling sound coming from the window. When i looked there was a massive squirral near the window.. it jumped onto my friends bed and we all screamed!! The squirral was in the room and we were frightend..we contacted the reception to ask for help..we managed to get out of the room without getting attacked by the squirral again..two men from the reception came to the room and managed to get the squirral out after 10 minutes!! There were squirral droppings all over the room..the staff just told us to go back in and didnt even ask if we were ok and acted like everything was normal. We told them about the droppings all over the room and how could we still be in the room.. they gave us another room where we gt changed and checked out as we couldnt go back to sleep,we were shaken up. When we went to check we told the staff about what happened and one of the staff member said its normal we have squirrals coming into our house. This was not my first time staying in london.i have stayed many times in different hotels and not ever experienced anything like this before. We told them we want to put a complaint in and told me i couldn't as the manager wasnt in..they were fobbing me off and the staff were being really rude..i was not happy about this at all. I have the video footage of the squirral in the room and the droppings left on the floor. We could have caught anything from the squirral..the staff just didn't care and did care that the squirral went onto my friend..never staying here ever again!!! The staff said the manager will contact me about this.so lets see if anyone contacts me!! Not happy with the staff and the experience!!
Stayed here with my husband following a concert a the Royal Albert Hall. Plus points our room had obviously been refurbished and was clean and fresh. However it was very small. One side of the bed was very close to a window and an angled wall making it very difficult to get by. Shower and loo again clean but tiny. My husband is 6ft plus and had real difficulty getting into the shower let alone getting out. Breakfast was included but was poor. Continental and hot food provided. Sadly bacon and sausages were overcooked and not particularly tasty. Eating area was quite small and very crowded.Overall a disappointing experience.
Just returned from a few nights at the Queens Park hotel ,i had previously asked for a refurbished room high up ,but on arriving they said they had no knowledge of my request and offered us a second floor room. The room itself was very small for a double it would have been much more suited as a single.(hardly any room to get around the bed).There where a few minor things like the dual toilet flush sticking,carpet stained in places etc.The walls are paper thin and we were disturbed by people in adjacent rooms,for about 3 hours in the early morning there was an unidentified noise (sounded like loud humming etc) this was a pity as the hotel is situated in a really nice part of London near Kensington Gardens.The room as a single and a complete refurbish would have been good but overall disappointing.On a positive note the reception staff where polite and professional.
Reading the other reviews, I must have gotten incredibly lucky..!! Stayed here for 4 nights about a month ago, in a room on a higher floor - great location, value for money, housekeeping and facilities. Walls were indeed extremely thin, so it really depends on who is staying in the neighbouring rooms. Otherwise, nothing else to fault. Will definitely be back next time I'm in London.
We were booked into the Bayswater Inn Hotel from 30 to 31 March 2018, when we arrived on 30 March 2018 (On our honeymoon) we were told that their system had overbooked (We had paid and booked in January 2018) and were transferred to their sister hotel The Queens Park Hotel which had small rooms, lumpy beds, uneven floors in the "bathroom" and very noisy in terms of guests banging their bags and stamping their way around at all times of the night. A really horrible experience.
This hotel is one of the worst hotels I ever stayed. The receptionists Andria is rude, the rooms are dirty and small, the Internet is really bad, there noise, they are not helpful at all. Really I don’t know where to begin and where to stop. There is plenty of better choices is London it’s not worth staying here
There is no getting around the fact that this hotel is quite shabby. From what I saw the whole place needs a facelift, paint, carpet, etc... BUT it is a central London hotel for a surprisingly affordable price, which makes it a great value. Our room was in the basement and had a window into another unfinished section of the basement. Who cares, it is an affordable central London hotel! The breakfast was wonderful and the staff, after hearing that we had been traveling for 36 hours straight, moved heaven and earth to get us into our room for a nap as quickly as possible. Two streets down are restaurants of every variety. Close to metro! I would stay here again for sure and recommend it for anyone who wants an affordable central London hotel and can look past the cosmetics.
Pictures of rooms are fake, this hotel is dirty, noisy, it smells bad, the breakfast is a joke, the staff is impolite and not helpful at all. Our window was full of pigeons' droppings! It is just scandalous and shameful! Go on your way...
