If you would like a smaller hotel in London with good amenities nearby, this is the place for you! It's in a lovely area near Notting Hill, is safe to walk around outside at night, is close to two tube stations and has two self-service laundromats nearby as well as three pubs with good meals and other restaurants. It is c. a 7 minute walk to supermarkets and other shops. The staff is helpful, and there's a lovely Continental breakfast included in the price as well as wifi . The rooms are not huge but are clean and have all the amenities you will probably need. Also included in the price is a four-hour tour of London which includes a Thames cruise, although there is no pickup service from the hotel.
Hotel is in a good location, with easy access to Underground, Kensington Gardens and various restaurants. Attractive entrance and public areas with helpful, friendly staff but the worst room my wife had ever stayed in. The standard double rooms are all 11m2 according to reception but that must include the bathroom. The bed was hard up against the side wall with about 10cm between the end of the bed and the window wall. There was a mark on the sheets. The furniture was poor. There was no lamp and the room had terrible stark lighting. There was a big step in the bathroom and the basin was so small that we had to fill the kettle using a cup! Breakfast was very good with decent coffee and a range of cold meats, cheese, fresh fruit and bread or rolls.
Nothing like the pictures. Rooms were dirty. Worse, you have to turn your key into front desk every time you leave. On returning, you simply say your room number, and a front desk person who has never seen you before just hands it to you. Anyone could hust say a number and they'd give them the key. Terrible security. Breakfast nothing to write home about. Could not wait to leave.
Stayed here for a weekend exploring London. Staff was very nive and very accommodating. Room was big and we even had a small balcony where we could rest in the sun. Closest metro is the Bayswater. Very nice area and close to "Hoponhopoff"-station near Kensington Garden.
Compact but comfortable room in an ideal location. A generous continental breakfast included. Friendly and helpful staff. We walked from here into Victoria station via, Kensington palace, Buckingham Palace, Albert Hall, Hyde park, Princess Diana's memorial water fountain, Westminster Abby and Cathedral before crossing the bridge to London Eye. Very close and convenient to all these places. A short tube ride home.
We booked this hotel for a trip to London for a big birthday celebration. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with this hotel as it was not what we expected and not worth the amount of money we paid for it. The entrance to the hotel is very grand. Everything else in this hotel is standard if that. We booked a standard room which was extremely small for a couple to stay in. The double bed took up most of the room. I had to climb over the bed to get in it as you couldn’t walk round the side it was so close to the wall on one side. There was no space to walk round the room and nowhere to put your suitcase other than on the bed or chair which wasn’t ideal. It was far too cramped. The room was also very hot. There was no air con but a small noisy fan was provided. There were no lamps in the room so you could only have the main light on so if you needed to get up in the night you had to either wake your partner up with the bright main light or struggle climbing over the bed in the dark. The bed was also very firm and uncomfortable. The bathroom was nicely decorated but again it was very very small. It was so small that when you used the shower all the water went all over the floor. The room and bathroom was generally quite clean but a bit dusty in places and the soap dish was dirty when we arrived. There was chipped paintwork on the door and around some of the plugs sockets which really need repainting. The curtains were attached to the wall round the window with hooks so you couldn’t actually open the curtains. The location is the best thing about this hotel. It was 10 minute walk from Notting Hill Gate tube station. Breakfast was very poor. We went into the restaurant and were not greeted by staff but stared at by them with no smile or welcome at all. We found a table ourselves. There was no cutlery or cups for tea or coffee on the table and the staff didn’t explain where anything was. There is only a continental breakfast available but the selection was not good. Again very disappointed as this did not reflect the high standards that are advertised for this hotel online. On our second morning it was pouring with rain so we asked if we could borrow one of the hotel’s umbrellas. The receptionist said yes but we must pay a £10 cash deposit. We agreed and I handed over £20 as that’s all I had. They said they had no change! We left it and walked in the rain to the nearest shop and bought a brolley instead. This really annoyed me as I don’t understand how they can take cash if they don’t have change. We felt again the staff were not giving us the experience we had payed for. Overall, myself and my parter were very disappointed with this hotel. We’d booked it thinking that we were staying in a beautiful boutique hotel which we were looking forward to staying in but we were very unhappy with our stay. We paid a lot of money for this stay and felt like we’d been ripped off. We will certainly not be staying at this hotel again and would not recommend it.
Clean and cozy hotel. The location is magnificently perfect if you like Notting Hill and Hyde Park ... In front of the hotel there are some bikes for rent that are easy to get anywhere ... The staff was very friendly and polite ... especially Andrea from breakfast and other Brazilians as well. Breakfast is good and is always being fill up. Very close to hotel there’s a Greek restaurant “Aphrodite Taverna” is delicious just go there.
Stayed here for a night on our way to somewhere else. Nice hotel. Easily accessible from the tube. Nice safe feeling area. No problem walking to and from the tube. Would definitely stay here again if visiting London.

Lovely boutique hotel, great breakfast, Location was amazing, staff were terrific, walked to most sights and transport was close by so was Portobello markets and heaps of dining options. We left our cellphone behind when departing for Paris, we called and Mohammed answered. Once I explained what occurred he quickly located and arranged for the phone to be forwarded to our hotel in Paris, it was there 2 days later. Thank you Mohammed, Thank you Linden Hotel.
