Location is excellent. Accessible transportation and close to most of places of interests/ to visits. Only thing is shower room which has no curtain or door to prevent water splatters on the bathroom floors. Sraff are very helpful

Was given the wrong room, there was another woman already in it. Was given another room after. All shower knobs were broken so could not control temperature so it was too hot to shower. A women’s hair was left in the bathroom so it had not been cleaned well.

No breakfast as promised!! - no part refund available!! Pokey little room. TV didn’t work. Staff not able to assist. No tea bags in the room. Kettle wasn’t fit for purpose. Thankfully I only stayed for one night. Avoid at all costs!

Will never stay again. Demanded id or wouldn’t check us into our room. We checked all the booking details and at no time does it mention that id is required. Luckily we managed to find photo copies on our phone or we would not have been let into our room. Also we had no hot water for our entire stay which they did not fix despite us phoning reception twice. No apology at any point or explanation

Lady at reception upon arrival looked like she didn't want to be there, no greeting just a blank stare, described as every room as a balcony well room 10 definitely doesn't, in the basement with such a disgusting bathroom, the white grout is all yellow and brown stained, the pillows on the bed are too hard, the main lights in the room had a few bulbs that had gone and the remaining seemed to start flickering so fast every 10mins like it was a rave, the WiFi was so poor and TV reception was even worse, I do believe this was due to being in the basement, the pictures are not a true reflection on the property, very unhappy with the stay

NO AC. When we were here it was 85-90 all of the days we were here. It was so unbearably hot in the room as well as the whole property. They provided a fan but it was one that blew very little air so we ended up buying another fan. They also came into the room while we were gone every day regardless of the sign on the door to unplug our working fans for some reason so it was extremely hot once again when we got back, and to get us new towels. They also need to put screens on the windows because we had no choice but to sleep with the window open which anyone could easily fit through.

There was a customer screaming in reception. Room was clean but very hot. There was an old fan in there that didn’t really help circulate the air but there was an iron and ironing board. Safe was locked - didn’t ask to open it as it was too small for my laptop anyway. The hotel information book in the room mentioned dining times but absolutely no idea why as there didn’t seem to be a reference to any restaurant anywhere (including on the amenities when booking). It was hard to read in general as it’s old and the ink had blurred. Overall it was ok as a base to return to for the night. It’s functional.

Our stay at New Linden Hotel was very disappointing. Upon arrival, the staff was not welcoming, and our room was not clean (fingerprints on mirrors, stains on the sheets, torn curtains, and much smaller than advertised). We asked to change rooms due to the poor condition, and although it was done, the staff seemed visibly annoyed and remained unfriendly throughout our stay. There was also confusion about check-out time, and we were unfairly blamed for their mistake. The only positive point is the location. Otherwise, I would not recommend this hotel.

Actually it was a very bad stay at this terrible hotel! What my daughter looked at during booking was another story when we arrived. This hotel almost touched a 2 star hotel . The staff scored 3 out of 10 with honor ,cleaning room was fair but not daily or so ,they stopped delivering complimentary water bottles for the last 5 or 6 days telling the order delayed so we bought from nearby market and for them is so normal !! On top of that and upon our arrival to hotel from airport they gave us a basements king bed room which for sure we didn't pick while booking and asked to pay extra 160 gbp more to move us after 2 days to second floor 2bed room ,non open windows and lot details which recommend other travelers to completely avoid this Hotel . We stayed 12 days and if we had the refund choice we would moved same minute.
