They were so lovely. It was my anniversary with my partner and they organised the room so nicely and they gave us a bottle of Prosecco and some lovely cakes. Balloons everywhere and rose petals. We honestly loved it all! Everyone was lovely and polite the room was clean. The spa was clean I would definitely come back.

Stayed for a business trip. Was very happy with the hotel itself and location was ideal for us. Breakfast was very nice and I only wish I had more time to enjoy the bar and facilities. Staff were also really friendly and we wasn't rushed out when we were running a bit behind on checkout which was really helpful. The only issue we had during our trip was the parking - when we arrived we were advised by the doorman to use a carpark around 10 mins away rather than the underground NCP right outside due to there being a couple of car break ins in the last year. We decided to still park in the NCP and take our chances on what seemed like good odds still and unfortunately our car window was smashed and we had some items (hidden) stolen. We cannot fault the hotel for this particularly when we were warned and even the doorman took it very graciously when I informed him that he was entirely right and we should have listened! We had a bit of a laugh about it with him as there wasn't much else we could do at that point but the doorman was very empathetic still and said he would report higher. When looking at reviews of the NCP it's clear that this is a very regular occurrence which is a real shame. Absolutely stay here, just don't park in the NCP!

The staff were amazing - they told us we were ‘guests of the day’ and kindly gave us a complimentary breakfast and a bottle of Prosecco. The room was clean and tidy. The only minor issues was the slightly unpleasant smell in the bathroom and one of the bedside tables was missing - the carpet indentation showed there had been one!

From the moment we arrived at The Montcalm Royal at Finsbury Square, the experience was exceptional. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, with our room ready on arrival and the front desk team warm and attentive. A special mention to Divine, who went above and beyond with a beautiful romantic room setup, complete with complimentary Prosecco and a stunning bed arrangement, a thoughtful touch that truly elevated our stay. The room was immaculate and comfortable, with a wonderfully soft bed, spacious and elegant bathroom, and a large TV. My wife and I also enjoyed a 50-minute couples’ oil massage, which was deeply relaxing in their spa (YATRA). Overall, the combination of genuine hospitality, attention to detail, and relaxing facilities made this a perfect choice for a romantic break or special occasion. We left feeling cared for and already looking forward to returning
