I am so glad I decided to give the Park Lane Marriott a try. Excellent location and very central for our needs. We received the warmest welcome from the doorman and were greeted by Camille who was friendly, professional and very helpful. Each and every member of staff I encountered during my stay appeared to be very happy and were glad to see us. As gold members we got complimentary use of the executive lounge which was very well stocked with an excellent choice of food and drink. The room was well equipped, stylish and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent with good quality ingredients cooked to perfection. Food orders were taken promptly and the breakfast was served hot without delay. The Italian manager in the restaurant was very friendly and helpful, spending time talking to guests and ensuring they had what they needed. On previous occasions we have stayed at Grosvenor House but decided to give the Park Lane Marriott a go and I'm glad we did. The hotel is smaller and not as busy so the service is more personal. Whilst the executive lounge is smaller it is not as busy as GH and has better offerings. This is not a criticism of GH which is also a great hotel but the Park Lane Marrriott will be our choice from now on.
extremely friendly staff with the best service attitude, Club lounge very generous with food and snacks , one of the best places in London and highly recommended. Rooms very comfy and all service staff have the best approach and very positive energy towards service.
The room is beautifully designed with great marble floor bathroom. Though it's a little bit smaller than I expected but it's cozy enough to offset the size. I have to give extra credit to the bed and lining, it was super comfy. Most important thing is the people who really offer excellent hospitality and definitely make you feel welcomed. Not to mention the hotel is just next to Tube station and is 10-15 mins fantastic walk to major shopping area like Selfridges, New Bond Street and etc.
The location was perfect near mable arce tube station and near hide park. The hotel was absolutely fabulous with excellent amenities facilities. The staff was very kind and the suite was amazing. I recommend this hotel without hesitation.
Didn’t even realise this hotel was here even though I’ve walked past it for years. The company put us here and so glad they did. It’s light and modern with a boutique feel. Our room was beautiful and because it was facing an inner space, blissfully quite for London. Definitely stay again.
I stayed at the hotel in 2004 and then again in 2013. I was there just two weeks ago and the renovations, the room, the lounge and the restaurant are all first class. The staff had great service oriented attitudes and made my stay that much more enjoyable.
The location is perfect, close to wherever we wanted to go. The hotel is elegant yet not "stuffy", staff extremely friendly and helpful. The room I had was specious and comfortable. I used the lounge which was amazing as far as food and comfort go.
I have stayed twice on this hotel during the last months and it’s a pleasure to give all the staff, the hotel and the location the best notes. It’s a pleasure to come to this hotel. First the nice entrance then the warm welcome and the easy check inn/check out. I had invited our daughter for a weekend in London and to Park Lane, and we got the big surprise to be upgraded to a junior suite. What a nice treat. The suite was very comfortable, had nice colours and a huge bathroom. The executive lounge are in the ground floor. Two rooms, one with comfortable sofas. They serve delicious breakfast in the morning, soft drinks, tea, coffee during the day and snacks and drinks in the afternoon/evening. An extra thanks to the always smiling hard working young girl who was serving the breakfast. Since I lost my scarf at Heathrow I had to ask the concierge about help and the really did their best and helped me a lot. Very service minded. All the staff that we met was fantastic, but I have to mention the lady with long blond hair who has been in the reception both time I have been there. She is all what you can hope from a person at a hotel. Service minded, helpful, polite, and smiley in such a nice way. I think the best thing is go there and get the fabulous experience from this nice hotel.
I have written a review about this hotel last september, but i thought i owe them another one this time too. Last time, i mentioned that i noticed that the hotel staff were undergoing some kind of training despite their excellent service and wondered how could you make something that is perfect, even better!! I guess the hotel management proved me wrong! When i arrived, i was surprised that hotel kept a profile of my last visit and offered me the same room i was staying in the last time since i liked it!! they even noticed last time that i asked them to unlock the balcony for me, so they unlocked it prior to my arrival. They even had extra hangers ready in my cupboard since i asked for them the last time. this is a true "second home" experience! i told the concierge that i am expecting a bag from the airlines as they have lost it and promised to deliver it to the hotel once found. without me asking, he asked me for the track number and promised to call them and chase it himself. i haven't even asked for his help! and he did chase it for 2 days until it was delivered. in my last review, i described the housekeeping as being average, so i should apologise as this time, it was beyond excellent. this is why i consider the marriott hotel as my home in london because they force you to believe so. I truly thank all members of staff again for a genuinely excellent experience.
My partner treated us to afternoon tea here in between Christmas and New Year and what a treat! Food was delicious, and the staff kept bringing extra sandwiches. Everything was beautiful. The staff were so lovely and helpful. Would really recommend and definitely come again!
