I had to make a stop in London 10/11 April 2018. I was not sure if I have time to go to the city our stay at LHR hotels. I decide to go to my second home in the UK Marriott Park Lane. The treatment if revived from Ms. Demi and Ms. Sadie made my stay a memorable one. The do exceed the customer expectations in every action. Highly recommended hotel due to the professional staff and location. Keep up the excellent job. All the best. Dawood Alrashed
We always stay in Marriott properties and this was one of our favorites. I can't wait to stay again the next time we are in London. From the moment we walked through the door, all of the staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful. We loved our room. We had a jr suite that was very spacious for 3 of us and very clean and nicely decorated and a great view. The concierge lounge was also great...wonderful breakfast and afternoon food and always clean and very comfortable with a caring staff. I don't have one negative thing to say about this hotel. It exceeded my expectations and would highly recommend it!
First of all I must start by saying that I am a hotel snob. My family hates traveling with me because they know I will usually change rooms 2 or 3 times before I find the right one and then I will still find something wrong. Not this time, from the minute we walked into the door and were greeted by the doorman in the top hat to saying good-bye to the staff on our departure everything was pretty perfect. The room was beautiful and extremely clean. The bathroom was amazing! I have decided the next remodel job I am buying a toilet with a heated seat! The art throughout the hotel was lovely. The lounge was romantic and relaxing and the bartenders were courteous and prompt. Most of all, I would like to thank Beatrice and Pepe' for making my 50th birthday so memorable. My husband informed the hotel that we would be celebrating my 50th birthday and upon arrival there was a beautiful cake, tulips, strawberries, macaroons, champagne, and balloons in our room. It was lovely, so much it brought me to tears.
I came here for my honeymoon and was very happy with the stay. Our room was not ready until 5PM on check in, but they gave us a free Afternoon Tea to make up for it. That was a nice gesture. The strong point of Park Lane is their staff. They are excellent and will do whatever they can to help. The exterior is very plain in my opinion. It really doesn't have the looks of a high end luxury hotel. But functionally, it is. The rooms are quite nice. The pool is lovely. It's definitely a modern hotel and has a lot going for it. Bathrooms are A+. I have two complaints. The A/C controls are the most confusing I've ever encountered. You basically have to guess. There are no markings to designate temperature. It's a total walk in the dark. Also, the beds are extremely firm to the point of being painful. I know some people probably are into this. I'm not. It felt far, far too firm to me.
Having visited London many times, this quickly became my favorite hotel property. We have stayed at other Marriotts and SPG properties in London, but this one was our favorite. Excellent check-in (although waited 2 hours for room-ugh!) but the facilities and staff were outstanding in every way. Our room was lovely and overlooked Hyde Park. Loved the large walk-in shower but would have preferred to have the toilet area in a separate water closet. Around the corner of the hotel is the Marble Arch tube stop-so easy to navigate from and get everywhere. The concierge lounge and staff were excellent but the food items were not remarkable. However, breakfast in the restaurant was outstanding! We will definitely choose this hotel when we return to London again.
Exceptional hotel located in one of the best locations (close to marble arch, oxford street, hyde park). Staff are very friendly and helpful (Receptionists, Housekeepers, Concierge, Doormen). Rooms are great and very modern. We were upgraded to a larger room which we just did not want to leave from. Tip: definitely book the hotel direct through their website
This is my second stay with the good folks at the Marriott Park Lane and my oh my, it is wonderful to experience the excellent service yet again. From the curbside welcome, to the bell-staff tour of the room and instruction on using the perplexing light switches, the staff at the Park Lane are experts at the art of “welcoming.” Beatrice is especially kind and helpful. This hotel has it all for me… great people, great rooms, and a solid executive lounge. The location is pretty darn perfect with the “temporary” theatre across the street, and the pathway into Hyde park, the tour buses just feet away, and the tube entrance around the corner. The Park Lane makes for a perfect home away from home. Looking forward to my next visit. Heck, I'd visit again just for the check-in experience. By the way, the entrance is actually off of Park Lane and when you start to enter the hotel, stop and look over your right shoulder across the street towards a great bar and restaurant... make a bee-line and secure a reservation -- free jazz most nights. My wife and two teenagers visited London for spring break last week and stayed at this property. We had two connecting rooms - one with two twin beds and the other a king bed, which was a perfect configuration for us. This property is spectacular. The rooms were large, the bathrooms sparkled, the bedding was super comfortable, the property was quiet, and everything was clean and well managed. It didn't feel like a typical Marriott but more like a boutique medium sized hotel. The nice part of this property is that it's not so big that the lobby or restaurant or pool or elevators are ever crowded. The pool in the lower level was stunning - by far the most amazing pool I've every seen at a Marriott property. The location, as others have mentioned, is fantastic. We rode both the city buses and the Underground which are both right out front of this property which makes for travelling around in the rain much, much easier. Speaking of rain, each room comes with a nice umbrella to use during your stay. The staff at the property was absolutely wonderful. They helped with dinner recommendations, travel advice, and other helpful suggestions. I recommend this property to anyone looking for something more than a safe choice. This location will make your vacation that much more special as it did ours.
This place is close to Marble Arch station in central London. Service is amazing as each and every staff is friendly and service is with a genuine smile. Food and drinks are not over priced even though it’s a five star hotel. If u want privacy and want to take your partner on a romantic date or dinner this place is good.
I strongly recommend this hotel for the following reasons: - cosy interior - lovely and comfortable rooms (although the bedding is a bit too soft for my taste) - great service - great location - room and bathroom very clean.
