Hotel Indigo is well situated, 2 minutes away from an Underground tube station and easy walking distance to Tower Bridge and the Borough Markets. Reception was friendly, we were on floor 1 which I was a little nervous about but I needn't have been, we heard no noise throughout the night. The room itself was very nice, clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the air-conditioning worked well. the bathroom was compact but had everything you want, there were nice toiletries to use. There is also a complimentary mini bar with soft drinks and a couple of candy bars, I thought it was a nice touch. The only thing which was a little annoying was the wooden floors. You can hear everything as people walk around the room. I would stay again.
Good location on the eastern edge of the City, close to the Tower of London. First impressions of the hotel reception area are nothing special but in itself that is no big issue and the friendly and efficient staff more than made up for it. The room itself was lovely, spacious with a comfortable feel, modern bathroom, comfortable bed and all the luxuries you could need. Soundproofing between floor wasn't the best as you could hear people walking around on the floor above but otherwise pretty quiet and no traffic noise to speak of. Overall a good hotel, reasonably priced and one I would recommend.
Clean large rooms, friendly efficient staff, the non alcoholic mini bar is free and a nice compliment. Biggest let down is no on-site gym which was something I wanted and while they did explain they had access to a gym close by fitness first vouchers does not qualify in my mind. If you don't need the gym a great hotel
Clean, and well decorated hotel well located in the City. Spacious rooms, with complementary mini bar for non alcoholic beverage. Breakfast not quite up to the standard, but there are a lot of other places outside to have breakfast
Really lovely hotel staff are very friendly and helpful we had an executive room which was very nice and spacious with complimentary soft drinks and chips and a mahoosive bed. Would definitely reccomend and use again
The location is within 15 minutes walk of London Tower bridge and all the area as to offer. We found so much to do without having to venture to far. If you are looking at the area then do not hesitate to look up this treasure of an Hotel.
Had a very lovely welcome to the hotel at the reception and instantly knew the stay was going to be great. Check in was easy and quick. The room itself wasn't huge but it was a good size considering the wonderful 4 poster bed. Very modern and well furnished room, with some free goodies in the mini bar which was great. Espresso machine was also free to use which was a nice touch. The bathroom was immaculate and super modern - the open shower was my favourite!! Did not want to get out the shower in the morning! Great location - my bf and I even walked from London Bridge back to the hotel after an evening out and it was a very pleasant walk. Also loved that the staff offered us a brolly for the evening as it began to rain as we were leaving the hotel for our evening out. Cannot fault this hotel and would definitely stay again! Highly recommend!!
After Barcelona and Liverpool, now London. Nice and cosy hotel. 2 mins away from the underground (Tower or Aldgate). Size of the room was ok. A little bigger would have been perfect. Bathroom and shower on top ( like all the Indigo's) Worth mentioning: complimentary water, cola and chocolate bars in the fridge... very nice ;-)
Close to the underground, nice and stylish decor, with good facilities and wifi. Good breakfast, nespresso machine in our room. Id definitely use again for leisure trip to London. Keep an eye out for offers as its pricy.
This was an ideal location since it was central to my traveling by train from the north of England and for visiting the Tower of London, Parliament, and London Bridge. Good - Friendly staff - Comfortable beds and nicely decorated - Will store luggage at checkout if you have a late flight so you can walk around - Numerous places to eat breakfast/lunch/dinner, all within easy walking distance. - 1 block from Aldgate station and 2 blocks from Aldgate East Station. - Casual walk to the Tower of London and Thames - Quick tunnel ride from King's Cross train station. Bad - Loud neighbors (children) in 2 doors down. Can overlook as a one-time deal Overall and great place to stay with great rooms
