Great hotel within easy reach of both the City and West End of London. Great staff - a very warm welcome on arrival and nothing was any trouble when we asked for assistance. Room was really good! Spacious and quiet.
Due to train delays in Euston I had to stay overnight in London last minute. Booked with Hotel Indigo as I’m a GoldElite Member of IHG. Pleasant and courteous receptionist but hit an issue that I had lost card I wanted to pay with. The Receptionist passed the situation on to Duty Manager but his attitude was shocking and I had to walk out, on walking out I got a confirmation from card company that the hotel had a full pre-authorisation of the amount. Walking back in the Duty Manager was speaking on the phone about me and the situation but would not engaged with me and got me extremely cross that I actually swore at him which is highly unlike me. As long as you don’t have any issues that require this Duty Manager you’ll have a great stay. Let’s hope this officious and obnoxious manager gets some training like the receptionist who was great.
This was a last minute get away for us. We have stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions but not recently. As usual the staff were extremely friendly and suggested places we could visit while there. They upgraded us to an executive room without asking. When we questioned this they said, we're not that busy so you might as well have the upgrade. The room as usual was immaculate and spacious. We went out and came back fairly late. We were quite peckish and at 23:00 phoned down for room service. We ordered cheese biscuits and olives. They arrived within 10 minutes, a huge cheese board, with a multitude of biscuits and olives! There was enough to save for breakfast. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and will always choose it when staying in London. The tube and overground is very close by.
A seasoned business traveller but on this occasion it was a leisure trip....and my first stay at this hotel. Modern, exceptionally clean, with friendly, attentive and very professional staff. A spacious room with a skyline view which looked brand new (that may well be the case as our room was on the top floor - 7th whilst the lift only goes as far as the 6th but its only a 30 seconds detour). Easy to find (just around the corner from Aldgate tube). I usually stay in the 'big chain' hotels when I am in London. Not any more. Well done.
We had a weekend in London and found Hotel Indigo to be the perfect location for us. The Tower of London and Tower Bridge are a short walk away (in a straight line, at the bottom of the road!) and it is close to public transport. The room we had (105) was large, well appointed and spotless; we really couldn't fault it! The breakfast was fantastic; a lovely large buffet range of fruit, yoghurt, cheese, meat and cereals as well as cooked options. On our final night we had booked an Uber to take us to the theatre, and after it cancelled on us, meaning we were likely to be late the hotel ordered us a taxi from their usual company which arrived promptly and got us there on time. We should have asked them in the first place! Check in and check out were very easy, with IHG members being able to check out at 2pm instead of 10-11am.
We've stayed at several hotels in London and this has been the best so far. It's a 2 minute walk to Aldrige tube and bus station. Easy to drive to. Quite a few shops and restaurants within a 2 block radius. Check in was a snap. Friendly staff. We were in the 5th floor and had a view of the Shard from our windows. Almost an entire wall is Windows, so that was amazing. From what I understand every room has a four post bed. Ours was no different. He's very comfortable. Very large room, with a desk, a stuffed chair, closet with robe and slippers, exposed brick, etc. The bathroom is also a nice size. We only had a stand up shower but I'm more than suitors our purpose. They have full room service. Some of it is 24 hours. Surprisingly good curry. They also offer a smartphone for you to use in the room. So you don't have to use up your own data. Of course, they also have free Wi-Fi. And an iPod docking station. Free newspaper delivery every morning. And a good maid service every day. Can't speak highly enough about this hotel!
Easy to find, just in walking distance from tower hill. The staff are real friendly and cheerful. Rooms are full of every confort you need for your stay and beds are very confortables. One of my favourite hotels in London
We booked this hotel without prior knowledge as it was close to the theatre we were visiting. Easy to find, parking fairly close and surprising large rooms for a city hotel, the staff were friendly and the decor and fittings were very pleasant. Not too noisy despite being on roadside, this was a good find and we would stay again without hesitation. Ideal for romantic getaway, theatre break or sightseeing. We’ll be back 👍🏻
This hotel is perfect!! It's clean!! Staff are very friendly and informative!! Everything you need is in the room and there's even a few other little treats complimentary. What else could you ask for?
This is a wonderful hotel. The staff are all unfailingly welcoming, cheerful and helpful. The rooms are beautifully decorated and modern with every comfort, coffee machine , tablet with info about the local attractions and best of all, huge comfortable beds. In walking distance of Spitalfields, Petticoat Lane, Tower Bridge. One of my favourite hotels.
