I booked with this Holiday Inn primarily because the website featured in room "refrigerator", and I planned to eat my meals in my room. The tiny cooler was not adequate, but the staff was very kind and sympathetic, and I kept ice in the bathroom sink to keep my food and drinks properly chilled. It meant a little extra effort, but it got the job done, and I was otherwise very happy with my experience. Excellent location in Kensington.

Not bad per European standards.. good location, steps from a major train station. This would be the hotel if you're looking for both price, above average quality, excellent location.

This was a GREAT hotel for our 5 night vacation in London. The room was small but comfortable and clean. The best part about this hotel was the reasonable rate and it was IDEALLY located for London sightseeing. It was 1 very short block away from the Gloucester underground stop (the Piccadilly Line) and multiple bus stops that can take you anywhere in the city. The Victoria and Albert Museum and Natural History Museum were a short walk away and Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park were a 5-10 minute walk away thru the gorgeous neighborhood of South Kensington. A nice urban grocery store called Waitrose was right next to the underground stop and had all kinds of pastries, fruit and free coffee and tea if you want to go the budget route. A Starbucks and reasonably priced and higher priced restaurants surround the area. Overall great experience at this Holiday Inn! I would recommend to a friend.

The rooms are pretty small but clean. Wi-Fi is minimal and only for 2 devices, if you have more you have to ask for an extra password, free of charge, but sometimes annoying.

bad experience, prices has been changed daily despite your booking as deal from date so and so..to date so and so..customers dont know about this cheating...you will be surprised??????

Hotel is in a fantastic location, close to the Gloucester Road tube station as well as restaurants, grocery stores, and museums. The rooms are a bit outdated and small by US standards, but everything is perfectly functional and the staff did a good job of keeping the room clean. That is, everything was great except the internet service. I stay in a lot of hotels and internet speeds in hotels are notoriously bad, but this hotel must have the worst I've ever encountered. Super slow speeds as well as periodic outages. There's a BT signal but it only got 2 bars, so unless you head to an internet cafe, you've got no options. I called the front desk but it was answered by a non-technical person. He promised that someone from tech support would call me back "in ten seconds" but that phone call never came. So.. if you're a tourist and don't need to rely on the internet, I'd rate this hotel very highly. If you're a business traveler and need fast, reliable internet service, you might want to look elsewhere.

Nice services thur our stay. Room was very clean with nice city views, little small. We wish has a refrigerator. The breakfast was super, location is the best, you can go everywhere by train or tube in 2 mins from hotel. We will be stay with Holiday Inn again.

This was a convenient location for a graduation I attended in May. Near the tube, restaurants, cafes and museum. Comfortable bed, clean room, helpful staff. Made my quick 3 day stay quite pleasant. I'd definitely return.

This hotel has a fantastic location, just steps away from the Gloucester Road tube station and dining. Quick easy access to London. The room was small by US standards, but perfectly in line with a UK hotel. Front desk staff and housekeeping were all top notch. My only complaint was the internet service. It was great at night, but dreadful during the day. I'd read other reviews complaining about slow internet but thought that surely they must have upgraded it by now - they haven't!!!! If you're a casual tourist, then by all means consider staying here. If you're a business traveler and fast reliable internet access is a must-have, you'd do best to look elsewhere. I paid 50 GBP extra for 5 days worth of what was supposed to be high speed and was disappointed. I'm saying yes as a recommendation only because everything else there went so well.

I am an American who stayed here on business. The hotel was nice, with more American sized rooms than the typical British miniatures. The truly appreciated touch was that I had to spend Thanksgiving here away from family, and they actually offered a full Thanksgiving Dinner with all the trimmings, which I took advantage of and truly appreciated.

The hotel is nice and comfortable. The atmosphere is also welcoming, and friendly. The free Wifi was a plus for me. Nice pub, and delicious breakfast. The location, and access to transportation makes this hotel my favorite.

The hotel is within 5 minutes walk of Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsburys, perfect for buying 20kg of much-missed food to take back to Japan the next day. But the room is about the same size as a Japanese business hotel (ie tiny), yet 5 times the price. That's London, far more expensive than Tokyo.

Clean, friendly staff, and great location next to Gloucester Road tube. Wifi prices are a total scam though, only complaint of the experience.

Hotel was clean and simple, with good amenities. No safe however. Good location.

for the price, a good deal if you are just looking for a generic rooml. They need to update and put back small fridges in the rooms - a disappointment.

The location is perfect being a block from the Piccadilly line and a number of restaurants. The room was comfortable and always very clean. The staff was helpful.

They hotel was very nice, clean, and staff was very nice. I would stay at this hotel again.

Wonderful. The room was always spotless when we got back from our day in the city. The restaurant staff was great as was the food. All staff was kind and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Good location to attractions, shopping, etc.; friendly staff, room was ready when we arrived, a little tight otherwise quite comfortable, water pressure a bit low but nothing major. Breakfast buffet a pricey for what was provided, counter services was much better priced. Overall a good location for families and getting around London. Walking distance to numerous attractions

It is a very good hotel, especially considering its price for such an amazing location. The subway station is around the corner and the hotel is in the walking distance to major attractions. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, nothing special, but pretty comfortable. You have everything a person needs: a coffee maker, nice shower and plenty of towels. When I am in London, I am usually staying at a different hotel but after my experience with this one I am ready to switch.
