I liked the fact that it had a nice fitness center, convenient location, rooms were clean and well equipped, good restaurant and pub. Hotel is getting a little bit "tired" and room wasn't ready when expected, but overall, very good experience.

Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful . The room was really clean and location of hotel was right in the middle of city center

Walkable to museums, restaurants, pubs and shopping.

Hotel very good located for my purpose. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very nice.

Was very close to transportation. And a nice place.

Nice and big hotel. it is definitely dated, but overall things are good. The location is nice. Its definitely a good compromise between more central hotels. They gave me a room with a double bed when i reserved a king room. overall though, the place was fine.

except for getting the wrong room, everything else went well. i understand not fault of hotel but booking agent.

Great access to the underground. Nice bar attached. What you would expect from holiday inn.

Great location, close to restaurants, tube station, hop on hop off stop. Breakfast is worth paying for.

I had a great experience with this hotel. It is really close to the Gloucester Underground stop making it a convenient location. It is also close to a post office, a laundromat, a couple of restaurants, grocery stores, a little shopping area, and a pharmacy type of a store. The room was comfortable and clean and the waitstaff were helpful. The mattresses were a little hard, but good enough for a couple of days. The room also came with a mini fridge, closet and drawer space, and other small amenities you would come to expect in a hotel chain. They also had taxis waiting at the entrance at almost every part of the day...including 3 am when I needed one. If a taxi didn't happen to be there, I was also told that an Uber car was maybe 5 to 10 minutes away. It was a great hotel. I was pleased.

The hotel was nice, there were a number of restaurants and cafes close by. Particulary enjoyed Paul, a nearby café. The Gloucester underground stop was a two minute walk away. Room was very small, but I guess that's typical of room size in Europe. I would recommend.

Great location near tube, restaurants and sites. Open window allowing fresh air was very pleasant. Only had one minor problem, TV did not work for 3 days.

Hotel is in a very convenient location, 3 mins walk from Gloucester subway station, close to restaurants, and grocery stores

The hotel is in a terrific location and close to most of the attractions in central London. The staff was excellent and extremely helpful. The concierge Peter was wonderful. His meal suggestions were right on and his tips on transportation were even better. Everything about the hotel was great!

Overall the hotel is great and in a real good and central area. The staff overall is very helpful and nice - though there are a few at the front desk that are angry and nasty in their interactions. The food services and pub staff are awesome and engaging. Updates are needed to the physical plant, which seem to be underway.

I booked with this Holiday Inn primarily because the website featured in room "refrigerator", and I planned to eat my meals in my room. The tiny cooler was not adequate, but the staff was very kind and sympathetic, and I kept ice in the bathroom sink to keep my food and drinks properly chilled. It meant a little extra effort, but it got the job done, and I was otherwise very happy with my experience. Excellent location in Kensington.

Not bad per European standards.. good location, steps from a major train station. This would be the hotel if you're looking for both price, above average quality, excellent location.
