Travelling home from the sunny south, had not stayed at a Comfort Inn for quite some time. Main floor rooms are drive up making unloading a snap. The beds are super comfortable and even though on a busy street and very near the 401, VERY quiet! My room was near the back, there is a large dog walk area and a Tony Roma’s right next door. Very pleasurable!
Hotel was nice and clean. Staff was very nice. Room was comfortable and breakfast was good. London Ontario is a nice city to visit and the Inn was in a good location for an evening walk. It is at the south end near the 401.
To start, walked into a freezer as the window to the room was wide open. Next, the bathroom was covered in hair. Bathtub, sink and floor. Pulling the covers back on the bed revealed a huge stain on the bed sheet. Have stayed at comfort inns before and have never seen anything like this before.
This was by far the WORST hotel I have ever stayed at! My room that we rented for the night was filthy! I went to the front desk to complain about my room not even 10 mins of being there! There was scum all in my shower, and scum all over the soap tray in the shower as well! Our toilet had a black ring all around and then to top it off there was green toothpaste in our sink! That was just the bathroom! The bedroom was sooo dusty too! It was gross! I would most definitely NEVER recommend this hotel to any one I know! Completely Disgusting!
My Husband and spent two nights at Comfort Inn, London, Ontario. It’s not a new hotel for us. Saturday night was noisy, purely due to Halloween parties that ended late. We called reception twice to complain. It’s not fun being awake most of the night!! Our room was neat and clean, and as always, Michelle was super amazing. Breakfast was a pleasure, as their granola was fresh. A shout out to Elizabeth who runs the dining area. Recommend always ....
I Have been Here Before and As Before , No Problems . Room was Adequate for a Nights Stay and Equipped with Fridge & Micro . Bed Comfortable . Everything Clean and Bathroom Nicely Stocked . Descent Hot Breakfast in the Morning . Staff were Friendly and Meet My Needs . I Would Surely Stay Again !
Booked this last minute and picked it based on being close to highway on my way to Windsor from Toronto. Was arriving at 11pm. Called hotel to let them know and everything at check in was great. Although it was late I was greeted with a nice smile and a warm hello. Hotel is dated, but very clean. Room was also dated, but also very clean and cozy. The best part about the room? The bed! Very comfy. Choice of a firm or soft pillow as well. Breakfast in the morning was also very good with some hot and cold foods as well as coffee and juice. Overall, a great stay. and would highly recommend!
This seems to be a pretty busy property so maybe it's got some appeal. As for me, I drove by the place in the dark three times because the sign was not lit. The desk staff said that someone else had mentioned it a week ago - I guess it wasn't a big deal. When I checked in, I went to my room, where I found an empty facial tissue box and a soda bottle and used tissue in the trash. The desk chair was torn. Also, for some reason there is a very nice electrical and USB charger at the bedside table but nothing at the desk! You can't even plug in the coffee maker that sits on the desk!! The bed was adequate, the AC sounded like a freight train at times and the room was fairly small. If you get it at a good price it might be worth it but there are more competitive properties in London, in my opinion.
My wife and I drove all day from our Michigan vacation and we were tired - looking forward to a comfortable room at the Comfort Inn. We checked in after 7:00 PM after making a reservation with Comfort Inn reservations. We are seniors who have traveled many places in the US and Canada but we never experienced a rude, discourteous front desk. I have a physical disability and park in handicap parking. When we checked in the desk gave a 2nd floor room with NO elevator or staff to assist us. We explained that we could not get our luggage to the second floor and asked for a 1st floor room. There was a $25 charge to move to the lower floor. We called Comfort Inns and were given another hotel that could accommodate our needs BUT this Comfort INN would charge us $65 to cancel our reservation. Bottom Line: we paid the $25 to move to the first floor. Never again at this Comfort Inn.
We stayed for one night for a get away. We had a queen room and it was very clean and comfortable. There is a fridge, microwave, flat screen tv, coffee maker with coffee and tea. (there is also 24 hour coffee service by the front desk). The only thing we found annoying was that the people next door were smokers and were outside in the parking lot about every hour smoking and making noise---we just turned up the tv !! If you would like to avoid this I suggest asking for a room on the second floor. Other that that everything was excellent----and I understand that you can't stop people from smoking :)
