I’ve been a loyal Comfort Inn guest for many years and have always had great experiences at other locations, particularly in North Bay and St. Thomas. Unfortunately, my recent stay at the London location did not meet the same standard. The room appeared quite rundown and not as clean as I’ve come to expect from this chain. There was visible dirt and grime on the light switches and lamps, and the shower was not in the best condition — I even found someone else’s hair. The toilet also did not appear very clean. I’ve attached a photo for reference. The complimentary coffee station was disappointing as well — the area looked dirty, and the machine was out of order. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable; the mattress was very thin, and I could feel the springs poking through. One of the main reasons I choose Comfort Inn is because of the breakfast, which I’ve always enjoyed in the past. However, this time I was let down. Breakfast was advertised from 6–9 a.m., but when I arrived around 8:10, the waffle mix had already been taken away, the coffee was empty, and there was only one sausage patty left. While there were still eggs, cereal, toast, yogurt, and muffins available, I was disappointed since waffle

Staff were extremely kind and upgraded us to the newly renovated rooms upon inquiry. They have plenty of amenities and are willing to provide extra. The breakfast was a simple yet nourishing one and extremely appreciated. The rooms are clean. There is a faint smell of smoke here and there and the ac was not working in our room but it wasnt that bad. Overall would come again! The staffs kindness made it much more enjoyable.

Okay, for the price in comparison with other accommodations in the area. Friendly front-desk staff but nobody was available to help us figure out how to work the television in our room. No instructions provided. (We’d planned to catch an hour of the first Blue Jays – Yankees post-season game before an appointment but had to go elsewhere to watch.) When checking in, we had to pay an extra “refundable” $100 fee on top of the rate. Four days later, still waiting for this to be removed from our credit card.

Staff was friendly and nice but the room was not ideal. -shower was dirty - toilet wouldn’t flush -sink wouldn’t drain -sliding door didn’t have a strong lock -woke up to a woman looking though our back window. Only stayed for the night so didn’t feel the need to bother the staff. Will not be returning.
