Do not book this place. The building smells and the unit has not been cleaned in ages. Dirty bathroom.
Upon arriving back at the property hoping to get some sleep and rest late at night after spending the day exploring the city, we found on of the beds was broken!
The center support beam (which was taped to the frame with clear box tape instead of using screws to install properly…) of one of the double beds was snapped down the middle and we had to stay awake past midnight to get it fixed. The fix was to stack a bunch wood to lift the center beam up. Had they cleaned the place since the previous customers left, they would've noticed the broken bed!
It was dangerous and extremely uncomfortable. But at 1 am in the morning, there aren’t many options. They refused to provide a refund and we were stuck with no support from Expedia. Expedia’s response was that it is the "hotel’s" policy. So we paid for a place which we assumed would have proper beds and a normal stay and ended up with this mess. Where’s proper delivery of that contract?
Do not trust Expedia. They do not support the customer when the property fail to deliver what they charged us to deliver. There are no basic assurances or guarantees you’d get what you paid for. So if you book this, you are on your own. We hope our story will save you the trouble. Because this ruined our vacation.
Terrible in every way. Expedia should remove this unit from the website. Expedia should provide better customer assurance.
