Unfortunately we arrived late at night and found the staff lacking in empathy for tired travellers. Breakfast arrangements were poorly explained and very costly. In addition we left some spare Euros in our room that went missing. Seriously need to rethink shower and only place in three countries, including Eurostar and Kew Gardens without free Wifi. Inconvenient for underground. Never again.

Could not find my room very badly designed signage and all rooms are either odd or even.

At one time this may have been a nice hotel but that day has passed. They need to spend some money on it to bring up the standard.

The carpets throughout are badly stained and worn and dirty!!! The towels are worn out too. They charge extra for WiFi and it is at best unreliable. Thwew are better hotels for the money, This one needs more attention and management,

This hotel was close to the office so is conveniently located. Staff helpful and pleasant to deal with. Décor and comfort of single rooms lacking. The heat went out when I was there and it was COLD!! They gave me a heater for the room but was still very cool. The public areas furniture and carpets are done - they need to be changed. Paying extra for WiFi on top of the room rate is unnecessary and annoying.

Generally a good one. Nice staff, not expensive. However, a little bit far from the downtown, and no free internet in room.

Hotel long due for rennovation. Old furnitures, room and even old towels... Good location. Cant beat that. However all facilities were really old.

This hotel is nowhere close to 4 stars more like 2 stars! The carpets are disgusting the air condition was broken and it 2 nights to be switched into a functional room. The staff is not very pleasant there is no proper system.

We were not there for all nights because my husband was admitted to hospital. Therefore cannot review all aspects of hotel. Wi-Fi - I failed to obtain correct password - again due to being overwhelmed with heath problems.

Only stayed one night, but it was good value for the money and close to where I needed to be! Was in London for the Doctor Who 50th. Short walk from the hotel to the DLR which went right to Xcel. Nice courteous staff. They had overbooked the specific room I requested with a large bed, but they upgraded me to a nicer room with a smaller bed, which was fine, since it was just me! After the flight from Denver, CO with connection in Iceland before getting to London and then the tube ride over to Canary Warf, the tea kettle and tea in the room were so nice! I wish hotels over here would do that. The kettle is where it's at, (not a 1 serving coffee pot...coffee is gross!) haha! What I really wished I would have had time for, but as I only stayed the one night and was really jet lagged, was to try the Indian restaurant there, it smelled and looked so good! Totally blanking on the name of it! But as it was, on my walk to the hotel I passed through a shopping center which had everything, and just nipped into a Boots and got a sandwich to take with me to eat in my room. So nice proximity to a shopping center as well! Had a nice stay! Would definitely stay again, if I ever needed to be out that way again!

I stayed two nights on vacation. Clearly this was a very nice hotel at some time in the past. Although clean, it shows ita age in the dings in the furnitire, the peeling wallpaper and mold in the bath, and multiple other signs. Again, not a bad hotel, just tired. I would recommend it and say it was a good value, but for one flaw. THE FREE WIFI IS PRETTY MUCH USELESS! As an international traveller, this was my planned communication link to my family. I could occasionally get signal in my room and in the lobby during the day. Connecting at night was impossible. By sitting in the elevator lobby of the 4th floor at 1am, and rebooting my computer, I was able to obtain almost 5 minutes worth of connectivity sufficient to read email. Not stream video. Not VOIP. Just barely enough to check email. And it didn't last. It was clear that their wifi infrastructure was operating far beyond it's capacity. So if you don't need connectivity, the location and price make this a great deal. Otherwise, I'd suggest making other arrangements.

It was ok but when I went to the gym I think they to up date the equipment and then one of the ladies was going to charge me but other then that it was ok it just a bit work done on the place that's all.

No issues with this place! I had booked a double room but when I got there they said they were overbooked on that room. They offered me an upgrade to an executive twin room with free access to the recreation area, which worked out fine for me. (If only I had remembered to pack a swimming suit!) This was presented in a friendly manner and I'm confident had this not been ok with me, they would have done what they could to get me what I needed. The room itself was very clean and had a nice view. The bed was a little hard, but I slept fine on it. Mine at home is probably way to soft, so pretty much every bed feels hard to me! Bathroom was clean and had all the little necessities you might need. Free wi-fi was a bonus, thought it said you had to pay for it, but you didn't have to. Easy access to the DLR and Tube. Restaurants in the hotel looked nice, but I did not dine in them. Not a very far walk to Jubilee Place, which had plenty of cafes/little shops to buy food at for people more on the go like I was.

The hotel was lovely, clean and well put together. The staff was not friendly or helpful.I had to ask about everything. It would make things much easier if at the point of check in they gave you a brochures of the hotel with information to make your stay more comfortable.I also found it less enjoyable when you have to pay to use the pool or fitness center. The cleaning services was wonderful.Overall the hotel is beautiful.Comparing to other hotel I stay in. The Customer service was poor.I did not feel value.

All extra amenities at the hotel (pool, spa, exercise room, etc.)cost extra. They did not provide face towels--hand & bath only. The fantastic views are definitely not from all rooms.

The hotel lost our reservation so we had to wait 1/2 hour in the lobby while it was settled. No apology. Asked for a wake up call at 4am, never got it until the next day when we wanted to sleep in and then got a 4am wake up call. Some very nice staff, but some very rude people work at this hotel.

Overall the stay was fine. The t.v. was not adequate because they were in the midst of upgrading. The weather was terrible and so the room was cold. The hotel provided a space heater. Overall the stay was a nice one.

dint like the staff

The Britannia International Hotel, London...not worth it. The doors never worked right, my back is still recovering from the beds, better hope your television doesn't break in the evening because you wont get a replacement until the next morning (sounds silly but imagine you spent 5 days sightseeing the whole day and you want to just relax and watch some local television), and no alarm clock. There is a TON of construction happening in the area so all the 'views' will be gone soon. My window happen to be facing what appeared to be another hotel going up just a few yards away. Maybe that one will be better.
