We booked a double room but when we got to the hotel only a twin was available, no apologies or explanation other than they were full. The room we received was in the basement, tiny and basic but it was clean. I would recommend shopping around before booking.
I booked a twin but ended up in a small double, which was great. Room was compact - I had very little luggage and not sure I'd have managed if I had a couple of suitcases - but really clean and the TV/hairdryer/tea making kit was a nice touch. Absolutely ideal for someone like me who was just looking for a place to sleep for work. Location is amazing, only a 5 minute walk to Victoria and in a really nice neighbourhood. The big downside however - the noise. I was on the ground floor and could hear every single footstep above me; plus the stairs seemed to just create huge noise and it felt like elephants upstairs. Talking also carries however this bothers me less as I can generally sleep through it, but the thuds from upstairs were really not good. I seriously contemplated getting up at one point to see what in the world was going on. Wouldn't recommend if you have kids since I imagine they'd be woken up by any noise and wasn't ideal for getting a good night sleep for work. Unless you can request a room on the top floors. Excellent for the price and would definitely stay again if it wasn't for the noise which would sadly make me think twice.
The hotel is in a very pretty area, it's in minutes distant walking from Victoria Station and turist attractions. Our room was quite small but very cosy and clean. The hotel is quite and people working in reception were super nice. Good value for money. Recommended.
Good service and tidy room. It's really good for a short trip. The location there is wonderful if you need an early coach or train on the next day morning. If you are seeking a budget and want no time wasted, it would be nice to you.
The room we had was small, I mean small, the floor area is the space between the single bed on one side and the bunk bed on the other and the shower is just sufficient. Having said that, in spite of the fact that our room was up five flights of stairs (there is no lift), everything else was A1 for the price. The bed sheets are crisp and white, there seems to be no dust anywhere and the shower even had complimentary goodies. The wardrobe and drawer space was quite adequate for two people on a short stay. There was no breakfast offered at the premises but there are plenty of places to eat all around. I didn’t get a chance to see any other rooms but if you are working on a budget I would say that this is a good place to start.
Nice and tidy, perfect location minutes from most of the tourist places. Room was small but had everything we needed for a short trip to London. I would recommend when you are coming for business or a short trip when being in central is a big advantage to not waist your time to travel. Good value for money!
Everything was very good, the location it's perfect! I booked for a double room and they finally gave me a 4 people room with kitchen and toilet. There is free WiFi in the whole building and the receptionist was very kind.
Positive Aspects: - Excellent localization; - Good correlation quality-price; - Good kitchen conditions. Negative Aspects: - No hand towels on the toillet; - No clothes on the kitchen; - No kitchen paper rolls; - The reception is too far from the appartment, this information must be on the reservation conditions. - On the check out, should be available transport to the reception to do the check out and the garanties reembursment.
We arrived to Gatwick and it was so convenient to take the Gatwick Express to Victoria station, and then just walk 5-6 minutes to the hotel. I stayed here with my family, 2 parents and 3 children aged 16, 13 and 8. We had a room no 6 with a bunk-bed, a double bed and an extra bed - and a table with four chairs. With all that there was no space left in the room! But hey - we got a family room for five in central London for about 150 £ a night. This is a really small hotel: No lobby, no restaurant or anything. But 1 minute away there is a small supermarket which opened at 7 in the morning. I went there and bought bread every morning. At a hotel two blocks away all hotel guests had 25 percent discount. They had lovely Italian food. For a family with a tight budget I highly recommend this hotel. For a couple on a honey moon, well, I suggest you pick something else.
First & last time staying here! No elevator! Have to lug suitcases up several flights of steep & narrow stairs. Rooms are so small that we had to open luggage on beds. Toilet was so tiny that it was difficult to change clothes... the toilet door had a large slit even when fully closed. Thankfully, it was not summer as there was no air-conditioning... only a small fan. Walls & ceilings were also so thin that we can hear so much noise from other rooms.
