Easy to get to from Heathrow -- a short walk from the Hammersmith station on the Piccadilly line. The rooms are very compact, indeed tiny even by UK standards, but extraordinarily well set up. You can't swing an arm without.. well, you can't swing an arm, but you can find a place for every piece of the luggage you brought with you. Very clean, brightly lit, and lots of power outlets. Excellent shower pressure. There is no lift, and the stairwells are rather narrow, so make sure you don't bring big heavy suitcases with you. Wifi was easy to sign up for, and fast. Excellent place to stay on short trips.
Third visit to the Hotel Adria and again comfortable room and beds, Good night's sleep with decent bathroom. Service was very good - room cleaned and restocked with fresh towels, etc. Close to Hammersmith Tube station yet in a quiet part of Hammersmith. Absolutely no complaints and we'll be back again next year.
Really wasn't expecting much. Knew prices wouldn't reflect quality but I was pleasantly surprised. Had an early work meeting in Hammersmith. The location was perfect and I really enjoyed my stay. Good sized room. Very comfy bed and pillows. All very clean and even had a fan- much needed in the intense heat! Also had windows that open fully and no noise to disturb me. Wifi was great. Honestly couldn't fault. Would definitely stay again
This was my second stop at this hotel and on both occasions have found it perfect for my needs. I have visited both with work and on this occasion with the family. The rooms are clean, a good size and well furnished. The location is ideal for being away from the city centre, but with plenty of amenities and near a tube stop. Breakfasts are good and value for money. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Great hotel and would recommend to anyone stopping in London.
I have been in Adrian hotel 1 week in August 2017. The hotel is nice and clean, the breakfast was of good level. The room was a little bit small but at that price...! The location is OK within the zone 2 of the Underground with a big bus station at less than five minutes walking. It is a very good solution to discover London for on budget tourists...
Very close to the tube and dozens of bars, shops and nightlife all within walking distance The Adria has always been our first choice for our staff and our clients when working in Hammersmith. Turns out it is in fact a brilliant location for central London as An Uber to Oxford St costs less than £8 or you can take a stroll through Hyde Park. Hammersmith itself is a great place to stay. As for The Adria Hotel, it ticks all the boxes as far as we are concerned. Simple and friendly check in means you start off on the right foot. There are low level rooms available with a separate entrance (handy for the oldies) superb breakfast, free Wifi, spotlessly clean, plenty of shower gel and coffee. This place is one of the few hotels that actually delivers what you should be able to take for granted when staying in a hotel. Powerful Shower . Always good
We had a very pleasant stay at Adria - comfortable beds in a very clean room, nice breakfast and convenient location near Hammersmith station. Steep steps might be a problem for elderly. Would highly recommend and would stay again next time.
We needed a cheap place near Olympia - 20 mins walk away. This was also about 10-15mins walk to the Hammersmith Bridge and Thames path. The room wasn't pokey, we had a double bed with space to move around and a little storage space. The en-suite shower room was well arranged. Everything was quite nicely appointed, clean and seemed fairly new. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on the food - there's plenty of cafes, and nice pubs, etc in the local area. For about £100/night in central London I wouldn't have been surprised if the room had been tiny, overheated and humid, but it was perfectly nice. The welcome was pleasantly warm even though we checked in at about 1:30 am. We'd stay here again. The windows weren't great, but I always travel with earplugs and it was summer so we had the window wide open. I didn't see any lifts and there are a few stairs up to the main doors.
I hadn't visited London for a very long time, so I studied the London hotels first on Booking, then on Tripadvisor. Adria Hotel came out as possibly the best option, considering price, quality, positive reviews and the area that corresponds with what I was looking for in London. Visiting London with a ten year old kid requires a good preparation! The website is very good and reliable and so are the staff in this decent, family run, traditional hotel : honest and sincere. The English breakfast was delicious and taken care off by the friendly kitchen staff, between 7 and 9am. On checking out, we could leave our luggage safely at the reception, so we comfortably enjoyed our last extra hours in lovely London before travelling home. If you are into the modernist Tate, smoothies and other millenial hipster stuff (no offense, but I'm 51 years of age ;-)), better choose the Southwark or Camden area to stay. But, being old skool, I directly felt at home in the Hammersmith area, in this family hotel, surrounded by many places where you can eat and drink well for a humble price, before going to sleep safely. The Swan and the Hop Poles are only two of the nearby pubs I enjoyed very much, but there are more around. And the Portobello is only a few tube platforms away (Ladbroke Grove). The hotel is also close to the Hammersmith metro station, from where you can easily reach the rest of London (25 minutes to St.Pancras eurostar station).
I stayed at The Adria Hotel on two separate occasions in July 2017 after attending concerts at The Hammersmith Apollo. It was perfect for this purpose. About a 10 min walk to the Apollo and you pass some pubs and eating places on the way. On both occasions my rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The rooms aren't large but this didn't bother me. The rooms had a small desk and chair too which was handy as I took some work with me. I chose the continental breakfast for £5 and it was great value for money. Friendly staff too. The fact that I chose to stay a second time in the same month says it all really. My second stay was on the top floor and back from the road. This was great for me but not good if you don't like climbing stairs so do ask about this if you're not the fittest. I'll stay again if I need a room in the area,
