The Haven is a thoughtfully designed luxury tiny home set on a wooded landscape in the heart of Hocking Hills—created for guests who appreciate intentional design, natural light, and a slower pace of living.

This 450 sq. ft. studio-style space blends modern comfort with a minimalist footprint, offering an elevated stay that feels both simple and refined.

Just 10 minutes from downtown Logan, you’ll have easy access to hiking trails and local attractions—while still feeling tucked away in the woods.

The Space:

Inside, the open-concept layout brings together the living area, kitchen, and sleeping space in a way that feels seamless and uncluttered.

Large windows frame the surrounding trees, filling the space with natural light and creating a strong connection to the outdoors.

The king bed, cozy seating area, and clean, modern finishes make this a comfortable place to unwind after a day exploring.

Kitchen & Living:

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, whether you’re preparing a full meal or keeping things simple.

A coffee setup with both drip coffee and Nespresso allows you to start your mornings your way, while the dining space offers a quiet spot to enjoy a meal or plan the day ahead.

Bathroom:

The bathroom features a clean, modern design with natural textures, a walk-in shower, and all essential amenities provided.

Outdoor Experience:

Step outside into an outdoor setting designed to help you reset and recharge.

Other Things to Note
The Haven at The Blackburn Retreat is situated at the end of a dead-end road on 20 secluded wooded acres. While there are other cabins on the property that may be visible from certain areas, we kindly ask all guests to respect the privacy of others during their stay.

Important Information Before Booking:

Please review our house rules and cancellation policy prior to booking to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Construction Note:
We want to be fully transparent so you can plan your stay with confidence. There is currently some construction taking place on the property. While we’ve made every effort to minimize any disruption, you may occasionally notice daytime noise during the week or see work in progress in certain areas. There will be no construction on Saturdays or Sundays.

Rest assured, your space remains private, clean, and fully ready for your stay. We’ve taken care to ensure that the construction does not impact the comfort or amenities inside your cabin.

Amenity Notes:
Please be aware that the outdoor shower is only operational from May 1-October 1. The indoor fireplace is only operational from November 1-April 1.

The cabin is equipped with Starlink Wi-Fi, providing fast and reliable internet connectivity for streaming, browsing, and remote work during your stay.

Winter Travel Advisory:
During the winter months, please be aware that the cabin is accessed via a gravel road and driveway. While generally accessible, snow and ice can create challenging driving conditions.

For your safety, 4WD or AWD vehicles are REQUIRED during the winter months. We also recommend 4WD/AWD throughout the year. The Blackburn Retreat is not responsible for vehicles that become stuck or for any related incidents. Guests are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of any necessary towing services.
