The holiday house Papaya is located near the residential area of Cala Canyelles where is a diving school, information point, good restaurant and a large communal pool.

Next to the house there are stairs with direct access to the harbour and the beach.

From the terrace you can see the sea and the beach. Terrace equipped with sunloungers, table with chairs and portable BBQ.

The house is located in one of the most beautiful places of the Costa Brava, 3 km from the bustling Lloret de Mar and 12 km. from the romantic fishing village Tossa de Mar. Steep coast and sandy beaches. Surrounded by mountains, pine forests and oaks; the situation is very calm.


In the center of the Cala Canyelles urbanization there is a restaurant, bar, comunity pool (25m x 10m) and tennis court. Nautical club with mooring rentals, diving center, ski school, windsurfing, kayaking, sailing and other water activities. It’s posible to rent umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach, cars for rent, horse riding, ticket for excursions and in the vicinity various golf courses and pitch on putt.


Outside of high season the offer of the different activities offered in the area may be more limited.


The arrival must be between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. The arrivals between 20:00 and 24:00 must be notified by phone 2 hours before.


The reception of the clients will take place at the Playa Arena office located in the Cala Canyelles urbanization. In the office, registration and payment procedures will be formalized. Then we will go with you personally to the accommodation, we will explain in detail the characteristics of the house and we will give you the keys.


The Exit must be made before 10:00. One day before your departure, come to the office to arrange a home inspection.


The final cleaning does not cover that the house has to be returned in proper condition: basic cleaning, clean and tidy dishes in the cupboards, leave sheets and towels folded next to the entrance door of the house and deposit the garbage in the corresponding containers. If the house is not in this state, an extra service will be applied that will be deducted from the deposit.


How to get there: Take the AP2 motorway, take exit 9 towards Lloret de Mar. Once you arrive in Lloret de Mar, take the road to Tossa de Mar and after 2.5km on the right you will find the exit to Cala Canyelles. Continue straight until you find a square. The Playa Arena office is on the right side of this square.

You have the right to use the pool paying 4 euros per day per person with one drink included or 18 euros per person per week with one drink included.
The villa features a kitchen and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can expect to find a TV with satellite channels. Other standard amenities include a sofa bed and a coffee maker.

This is a fantastic location, at the top of steep steps down to the beach. The sand is coarse like most of the Costa Brava and the water is clear. You can rent kayaks and SUPs on the beach. If the wind is blowing the right way you will get bigger waves, but it can also be really still. While it's not empty it doesn't feel overly touristy and you hear mostly Spanish and French spoken on the beach. There's a section with a lifeguard and a section with lounge chairs and umbrellas to rent. The far end of the beach is generally calmer water and quieter. There are a few restaurants on the beach/marina and an ice-cream hut. Can do without a car if happy to stay local and can sort out getting groceries from Lloret de Mar. There is a small grocery store in the local campsite that anyone can use, bit over-priced but very convenient. The bakery at El Trull sells baguettes and ciabatta and croissants, etc in the mornings along with coffee. The El Trull pool is very worth going to, clean and warm and sunny. The walk (c4.5k) along the coach path is definitely recommended. The house is small but clean and totally fine for myself and my two teen daughters. Melissa in the office was very friendly and helpful and any issues have always been dealt with promptly and without any hassle.

Le logement est bien équipé. Dommage que la climatisation ne soit que dans le séjour (chambre à coucher non climatisée).La vue sur la plage de Canyelle est extraordinaire et on ne s'en lasse pas.L'accès à la plage et aux restaurants par l'escalier qui se trouve à la sortie du logement, est très pratique.En résumé, nous avons passé un agréable séjour et reviendrons probablement.

Wundervolle Aussicht, leider etwas heruntergekommen

Ausblick, Lage und Terrasse waren der Hauptgrund für die Buchung. Einfach herrlich, der Blick in die Bucht beim Essen. Direkt an der Wohnung liegt eine Treppe, die mit vielleicht 200 Stufen runterführt. Lloret de Mar ist mit dem Auto nicht weit. Parkplatz vorhanden. Insgesamt eine ruhige Gegend. Wohnung war leider nicht sehr sauber, was eher an den schiefen Türen und kaputten Fliegennetzen lag. Da ging halt jedes Blatt und jede Piniennadel durch. Zudem waren dort sehr viele kleine Spinnen (vor allem im Bad) und Mücken unterwegs. Ich nehme an wir waren die ersten Benutzer der Saison. Empfehle Fenster zu erneuern oder zumindest Fliegenschutz… Wände teils mit Rissen, Möbel etwas veraltet und Bett total durchgelegen sodass man in die Mitte rollt. Erneuerung würde den Preis eher rechtfertigen. Check in wäre okay gewesen, hätte man uns nicht falsch über die Tür informiert. Es ist nicht die 3, die ist weiter oben, sondern eine unbeschriftete bzw mit einem kleinen Namen versehene Tür weiter unten… so dachten wir zuerst, wir wären doppelt verbucht gewesen. Ärgerlich, vor allem da es Sonntag war und die Agentur (gut gelegen in der Nähe) erst Montag offen war. Wer es ruhig mag, Treppen nicht scheut und eine Aussicht genießen will, ist hier richtig. Renovierung bzw bisschen aufpeppen der Wohnung würde nicht schaden
