A beautiful house for our stay in Anglesey

The house itself was lovely and we were delighted with the decor, furnishings and facilities. Our 6 year old granddaughter loved inviting us into the Cinema Room to watch films together and we played several games of pool in the Games Room and also enjoyed the Hot Tub. It was the perfect place to relax after a day's sightseeing adventures, with plenty of available outside space to enjoy the sunshine.

Excellent Easter weekend break

Overall our stay here was fantastic. Large, clean property with en-suite bathrooms in all rooms. Amazing views over the local landscape. Well equipped kitchen and a lovely wood burning fireplace in the lounge.

Family celebration

Fabulous house. Large, comfortable, clean, well equipped. Great facilities. Everyone enjoyed their stay including 3 dogs. Anglesey Holiday Lettings were quick and helpful responding to a request we made. Worth remembering. Unable to make mob. calls from property. We had problems booking a restaurant table on our last day.

Brilliant

The house was just perfect for our family celebration. The games room cinema room and the hot tub were a fantastic addition Kitchen facilities were all you could ask for. Would definitely highly recommend.

Fabulous house. The games room and hot tub were very popular! Customer service was brilliant - we had to ring about something when we arrived and someone came within 20 mins. My sister broke her arm (the mountain rescue people are also fab!) and was initially going to have to leave her car at the property, the lady in the office was just so helpful.

Beautiful,modern house in the stunning Anglesey countryside.

The house was beautiful,modern and clean. It was down a country lane which could have done with a sign post but was rewarding when we arrived. Was warm and comfortable, well stocked and really lovely place to stay. Nice walks and friendly locals

We had a lovely stay here as a family of adults . Lots of space for everyone . So nice for each couple to have their own bathroom . There was a bit of a drain smell when we arrived but that soon went once we had used the showers .

Excellent half term stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ty Rhos Newydd is a stunning short break getaway. The house is amazing and the children loved the games room and cinema room. There’s lots of room and the kitchen is incredibly well equipped! The property is a short drive to various things to do, so whilst there’s nothing locally to walk to, you are never far from something to do!

Great place for family holidays!

Great property with added bonus of all bedrooms being en-suite. Lots of space inside & outside. Well equipped kitchen & great selection of books ,games etc for the odd wet day. Kids loved the cinema room. Closest beach (Lligwy) was one of our favourites. Lots to do close by. Would recommend.

This house is amazing. Big and spacious for our family to be together and also to break away. High quality home that has a WOW factor. The only downside is that it is situated quite a way down a dirt/ grass track

Perfect multi generational holiday house

Fantastic house, which suited our 3 generation family and dogs holiday. Great times were had in the wonderful cinema room, relaxing hot tub and fun games room. The space was amazing with the open plan kitchen, dining and garden to get together, relax in the living room and comfortable bedrooms, all with ensuites, to retire to at the end of the day. Location was central to reach the lovely beaches and days out, we loved the quietness off the beaten tracks. Hot water went on our last day and although they were unable to fix it in time for us the people who came were lovely and they did get it fixed as quickly as they could. Would love to go again.

Amazing

This property is amazing for a large family. As we had a wide age range from 13-57 the property is big enough that you can still grab abit of quiet time if you want it. The cinema room was a key selling point for us and certainly didn’t disappoint. One tip if you are coming in the wi yet bring a small heater for the games room as there isn’t any heating in there.

Our stay for my 70th birthday

Lovely house few problems but they were sorted out games room not very nice when we first entered the property on arrival the house smelt like a sewer that was not nice had to to call maintenance out everything else was fine please note this house has no telephone signal overall a nice property

Lovely spacious home for a family stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ty Rhos Newydd. The house was very modern and spacious with plenty of outdoor space. It would have been nice to have some sun loungers and a shade, though the house did provide shade over the patio in the afternoon. A bit more care needed to be taken with cleaning as there was dog hair under the table in the living room and we didn’t have dogs with us. For the price of the property, I wouldn’t expect to have to strip beds and empty all of the bins. We were surprised that there was no recycling. Thanks for a lovely stay. I would recommend this to a friend.

Family Easter Break

The house overall is very impressive, lots of space and a great place for a family reunion. We enjoyed the games room and cinema room particularly. Negatives were no wardrobes or chest of drawers. The property did have hangers/ pegs and bedside tables but not enough space for everything and staying there for a week we wanted to unpack properly. The floors weren’t the cleanest, socks ended up being dirty at the end of each day. Everywhere else was clean though. A very rural location, probably a bit too rural for us but it was very tranquil all the same. We had a good experience with AHL when the kettle broke and they sent a replacement within a few hours which was great service. Overall a lovely big property with a great entertaining space for big families.

Beautiful place!

The place was amazing and had everything you could want. All rooms were well laid out and had comfy beds and excellent bathrooms. The was a funny drain smell when we first arrived, but after running the water in the showers and sinks it soon went. The cinema room is a great idea and the ground floor kitchen dinning and lounge area all great sizes. We enjoyed the hot tub and the games room, great addition to your stay. It was a tad too cold to utilize the BBQ but again would be great in the summer months. Our only real gripe with this property is the dirt track that leads you down to it. In our party there were 3 sports cars who found it extremely worrying as it's rather a long tack to endure. There was no mention about the condition of this road to the property, which I think you need to be made aware of before booking. Be prepared as the place is very remote!

A perfect place for a perfect holiday

The house was the perfect base for our family holiday, beautiful garden area with a hot tub and games room was just brilliant for those family nights in. The location couldn’t have been better with absolutely no noise pollution. Just us, the stars and the occasional moo from the neighbourhood cows! Every bathroom and bedroom was sparkling clean and the house had all the amenities we needed and more! I would say you definitely need a car to travel around and explore the beauty of Anglesey but there are some gorgeous walks. The beaches are just stunning too, they’re hard to beat and so quiet too. They are perfect for a sunset stroll or a family day of fun in the sun. Anglesey truly has everything you need. The attention to detail in the house was great! The games room, cinema room, cozy lounge area and great big open plan kitchen/diner was amazing for our large family. Nothing was too much trouble for the house maintenance team, our lovely hosts helped us with any issues we had and we can’t thank them enough. Thank you so much for providing us with a house we loved for the week! We will definitely be back.

Weekend family break

Beautiful property recently constructed with the latest eco features - solar panels, air source heat pumps etc. There is no phone signal at the property but wifi is good - there is an emergency use land line. Beautifully located and well appointed. Ice machine on the fridge / freezer did not work. On arrival there was a bad sewer smell ... We called Anglesey Holiday on the emergency land line - apparently this is a known issue for the property when the "traps dry out" - leave all the taps, showers and flushing the loo helped to start to clear this. The smell continued to feature in a couple of the bedrooms. There was a broken glass beer bottle under the external table / bench which we fortunately identified before the children started playing outside. Downstairs communal door handle needs properly refitting.

A lovely weekend but a bit Disappointing…

We arrived at Ty Rhos Newydd as it was getting dark, so hadn’t spotted the multiple signs on the neighbours vans, car & house - “Residents against Holiday homes” etc… on arrival the house smelt of drains & and the WiFi wasn’t working. I have the same bt hub at home, so tried resetting it multiple times but couldn’t get it to work. Non of us had any phone signal so we had to walk to the shared driveway to get 3G. This was annoying the neighbours. But we had no other way of contacting maintenance re the WiFi being down / TVs not working. There were also some new mums in my group who were wanting to check in with partners & kids at home…paid extra for the use of the hot tub, but the key to unlock the hot tub straps was stuck in a jammed key box. The house has lots of positives too! Comfy beds, bright and airy. Well equipped kitchen etc. I got in touch with customer service after our stay - really defensive and suggested we were basically lying about the smell and WiFi. They also said we had caused damage to the hot tub and this was a blatant lie. Unsatisfactory!

A Wonderful Stay

This property was exceptional, and suited the needs for our family celebrating a big birthday/anniversary. The house was exceptionally clean, well equipped internally, and matched the pictures/property description. We loved that each bedroom had its own en-suite, and there was a toilet in the utility (close to the hot tub/games room). We spoke to the owner on our last day, and made some suggested improvements which would have put the icing on the cake for us. These included a BBQ (we had thought we had seen that one was available) along with comfortable seat pads for the bench seats. It would also be good to change the pans with metal handles (for safety, as they can burn your hands when in use), the bean bags in the lounge are a great addition for guests use when everyone tries to sit in there, but could use the addition of some more beans for comfort. Finally, the games room is looking a little tired, and some improvements here might be necessary in the near future. We also found a few anomalies between the literature supplied by the owners/Anglesey Holiday Lettings, which needs to be addressed. These are generally just some little niggles we encountered that could be improved upon easily, guests are paying a premium for a quality stay, and we understand expectations are different for all. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and loved the isolated location (if you’re a future guest, don’t think you’re heading in the wrong direction down tiny lanes, the instructions provided by the Lettings Company were ideal). Thanks go to the owners for giving us a magical week making memories with 3 generations, who all enjoyed themselves. For any future guests looking for a nice meal, head to the Bay View Restaurant in the Gwesty Gadlys Hotel, Caemes Bay. We enjoyed an amazing Sunday lunch and midweek meal there, well worth a visit.

Hidden delight

Beautiful, modern and spacious property which easily accommodates 10 adults,3 dogs. This house is well thought through for your pets to have a great break too. We have made great memories having the best fun here and look forward to returning in the future Customer service 10/10 totally on the ball even during the Christmas holidays

Fab weekend

Thank you, we had a great weekend the house is beautiful and true reflection to the photos. It was spotlessly clean and the banana cake was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend.
