Family Time

Spent a nice 4 day weekend with my mom and sister relaxing, crafting, reading and just good time spent together. This house was perfect. Quiet neighborhood and big plus it was pet friendly so mom could bring her dog. Owner actually stopped by while we were there to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a nice visit with him. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice, Relaxing Getaway

We secured for a quick getaway for my mom’s birthday weekend. Great location that is secluded but has stores for last minute groceries or items down the road. The home was nice and clean, check in and out was extremely easy. The view was amazing and it was nice sitting out to watch the sunrise and sunset. The house is right on the water and even though the water was down a bit, we were still able to fish and caught a few. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook. We are looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Great lake house property

Really great property, the hosts have thought of everything, including lake towels and bbq equipment. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place for families or friends.

Lake, Fishing, & celebrating school out

The property was lovely, & well equipped with the essentials. It is on the lake, so you can fish from there, or swim. The owner came by the property next door, so we were able to meet him. Very nice guy. I was a little confused about were to park, so I made a call. Found out to park on the grass. We have never had such a early check-out, so that would be may only compliant .

Lovely place, excellent layout for 2 families

This is a beautiful place. We really enjoy the birds. If you come here, be sure you bring either a telescope or some thing to help you look at the birds on the water. We saw several species and enjoyed them quite a bit even though the lake was down the house has kayaks and grandkids enjoy the kayaks and we fished off the pier next-door. Owner was accommodating when i had to stay longer than expected due to a medical emergency.

Peaceful Stay

Our group wanted a nice peaceful getaway and we got exactly that. Loved the view of water from porches. Comfortable furniture, first rate kitchen with all we needed. Beds and linens were nice (very important). As a group of seniors we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Awesome!

My husband and I needed a couple of days away from the every day hustle and bustle. This was the perfect place. It was easy to get to and in a very nice neighborhood. Very peaceful and relaxing with all the comforts of home and more.

Great Weekend Getaway

We LOVED our stay here! All the rooms and living amenities were so comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen is well stocked and so are the bathrooms, which are beautiful. We traveled with our 4 month old and stayed in the room on the first floor and it was perfect, spacious for her pack n play and the tub for her baths etc. We enjoyed the kayak, ping pong table and fire pit. Also very close to Sam Houston National Park, went for a hike on the Lone Star Hiking Trail onto Double Lake and it was so peaceful and stunning nature. We will be coming back in the summer!
