As much as I would like to leave a positive review, unfortunately we were very disappointed with our stay.The biggest issue was the difference between the listing photos and the reality. The pictures on the website are absolutely stunning, but the actual condition of the house is completely different, which created a strong sense of disappointment upon arrival. The photos do not accurately reflect the current state of the property, and they should be updated with realistic, recent pictures so future guests don’t feel misled or “catfished” like we did.To begin with, the septic area in the front of the house appeared to have been recently cleaned, but all the waste and debris were left outside the hole. This was very concerning, especially since we were traveling with children who could easily step into that muddy and dirty area. It felt unsafe and honestly quite shocking that it was left that way knowing guests were arriving.Possibly related to the septic issue, there was also a strong unpleasant smell inside the house, particularly upstairs and especially noticeable in the mornings.The balcony was another major letdown. It looked very neglected and dirty. The outdoor couch is extremely old, and the pillows appear worn and heavily used to the point that we didn’t feel comfortable even sitting outside.Overall, the house could really benefit from more thorough and detailed cleaning. There were spider webs in several areas, and the chair cushions were visibly dirty.

The house is wonderful for large groups. Everyone had plenty of space. Pool was great for any age! There was everything you need in the kitchen, from blenders to pizza cutters! We will definitely be staying here again!

The home is a beautiful location with a perfect view of the lake. The pool is new and the home has a great layout if you have a larger family. It is spacious and the deck under the home provides more open space for entertaining. The interior space layout was nice but there were a few things that needed to be updated and repaired. Hot water was warm, the dishwasher needed repair, the heating and cooling didnt work as it should, there were some holes in the walls, the outdoor sofa was broken, and the pool was filthy when we arrived. It just needed some TLC to fix all of the miscellaneous issues. The property manager did immediately have the pool cleaned after we contacted them so all was good with the pool. The pool was near trees and it is spring so we did have to do a little cleaning to maintain. If the repairs are made it would defitely be a 4 to 5 star review.

We enjoyed our trip to this tranquil lake for a New Year getaway. The property is a great location in a quiet and pleasant neighborhood. We enjoyed fishing, campfires and playing ping pong. The views of the sunset are spectacular.We also found a great lakeside restaurant and enjoyed walks at Lake Livingston State Park. So much to do outdoors The kitchen was abundant stocked with everything you need to do some serious cooking should you choose. Missing everyday spices and cooking oils however. There is a smart TV in every room which made it nice to stream some family movies during downtime. I did reach out the management however that all the indoor and outdoor seating needs immediate attention. I would like to return in the summer to take advantage of the pool and lake activities soon.
