5 Stars – Perfect Weekend Getaway!

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this beautiful home. The interior and exterior were both stunning—spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. There were 8 adults in our group for the weekend, and there was more than enough room for everyone to relax comfortably. The couch was super comfy, and all the beds were cozy and inviting.We also rented a boat from Eaton’s Ferry Marina, and docking at the house was a breeze. The water depth was just right, making the whole experience seamless and stress-free.Overall, this place exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely book again for another getaway!

Family lake trip

House is beautiful, but the house had been cleaned and left dormant and not checked before arrival. Door locks did not work properly and the AC in the main sleeping quarters did not work and was not fixable during our trip. Again, house was beautiful. Location was great on the lake.

Great Labor Day weekend

House of very well done and on a beauitful spot on the lake. The dock was great for hanging out and fishing. We also appreciated the two kayaks. It did look like they have not been in the house for awhile but overall is was clean.

Very nice property, the house was awesome and very spacious. But mostly the dock. We spent majority of our time on the lake and dock. Its a very nice add-on to the beautiful property.

This was by far one of the best locations in Gaston. We enjoyed our stay. House was fully stocked. Appliances were wonderful. Dock was great. Very little climbing to get to and from the dock. Plenty of yard. Just perfect for my family of 8!!!

Excellent family weekend

This property was absolutely amazing. Very clean and tidy with just about every amenity you could need. Beds were comfy. Ice machine, wine fridge and beer fridge were nice as well. Excellent views for sunrise, shaded in the afternoon for hanging out. We can’t wait to go back.

Lake Gaston weekend

This is our second time staying at Ferncliff. It is a fabulous property and we had a wonderful visit. The home is gorgeous as well as very functional; the lakefront area is perfect for swimming and just sitting and relaxing. We will be back!!

Everything about the house was absolutely perfect! It is a perfect location on the lake, very quiet and private. Our only negative was the seating at the fir pit was very uncomfortable so we just didn’t use that.

We arrived and were immediately wowed--even prettier than pictures. View was gorgeous, lots of room, very clean and everything we needed and then some. Spending evenings just sitting on the dock talking for hours was out fav! Agent amazing and accommodating !

Birthday at the lake

Fantastic house and setting on the lake to celebrate a birthday. The house is spacious and has every comfort covered. The dock was perfect for the boat and for enjoying the lake. The house was very clean and well kept and in a quiet neighborhood. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful lake Home

This house exceeded our expectations. From the amazing lake views, equipped dock, beautiful kitchen to prepare a meal, bar, wine fridge, screened in porch and lovely landscape. It was in a quiet residential neighborhood, which we appreciated. We can’t wait to visit again soon!

Hello Lake Gaston

This home was perfect for our family! We have 2 grandchildren 15m and 8m, they had so much space to walk, crawl and play without running into furniture! The screen porch was perfect for their early morning play while others slept. The kitchen was very well stocked and the appliances we’re excellent. The porch was our favorite family gathering place. The weather could not have been more perfect. We even had s’mores at the fire pit! Picture perfect vacation 😎 I would love for us to come again when it’s not a holiday week/weekend. The lake was a little rough, but we did enjoy our boat rides and water skiing! Our first trip to Lake Gaston was perfect! Thanks for sharing your home on VRBO! Carol Smith and family
